    So, I wanna submit a banner but I'm not entirely sure what is and isn't welcome content, as in, how much can it diverge from canon content? For instance, say I want to submit a banner with a group shot of the Mane Six, but I wanted to do it as a Steven Universe AU where all of them are Gems. Would that stand a chance of being plastered up at the top of the Forums, or is that too divergent from typical banner content? (I have other banner ideas, too, but I wanted to know if that one would fly or not.)

    I be broke as a joke; the moths that live in my wallet are paying rent in interestingly-shaped pieces of lint. I'm lucky enough that my husband is currently willing to support me while I try ('try' being the very operative word here) to make money off my art. It's a learning process--I'm optimistic that I'll be doing better soon.

    I would like to pop my head back in here and add that there's nothing wrong with head-canoning any character as trans (or other things). A fanfic about this subject could really add an interesting layer to Rarity's existing character! However, when it comes to canon, the evidence just isn't there, and... well, it's a Hasbro show. If they ever did have a trans character, it'd probably be some nameless one-off background pony that got a shoutout on twitter by a storyboard artist or something

    I do apologize, I should have worded my original reply better. However, this post seems to really stereotype trans women. I'm close friends with a couple, and neither of them act like how you're describing (numbers 6 and 7, especially.) They're just... people, who do their thing. Not trying to invalidate your self-perception; but the way you've worded it, like saying "her" in quotations as if she isn't a "real" woman, kinda irked me.

    Shame that the way icons are structured on MLP Forums won't lemme show off the whole thing, but that's what Octavia's Hall is for! Once my Commissions shop is up on here, I'm gonna be offering these for $15 a pop ($20 with the background). I'm so excited!! 💕 Lemme know what'cha think! 💕

    @SharpWit beat me to it! I love the Don Bluth vibe this guy's got goin' on. His proportions are funky, but in a good way--like, he's kinda tortoise-proportioned, and have you seen a tortoise frickin' yeet feet when it wants to? Yeah, I'd sh*t myself if I saw this guy barreling towards me at way-too-many-miles-an-hour. Love his helm + horn combo too, sorta reminds me of the classic iron Skyrim helm.
