For some reason, I can no longer access mlpforums.com on my computer! My wifi is fine, and im the only one who uses this computer so it couldnt've been anyone else's doing. I can access all other websites perfectly fine, and no matter which browesr I use, mlpforums.com absolutely refuses to load. I can access it on my phone perfectly fine (my mode of typing this right now.) I've done all I can think to do or google; I restarted my computer, restarted the router, reset chrome entirely... and all I get is this same page, over and over! I'd attach a photo by my phone won't seem to let me. It says; No data received, ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE. Unable to load the Web page because the server sent no data. So at this point I'm thinking this is a problem from the site's end. Has anyone experienced this before? I'd really love to know if someone could resolve this issue.

Maybe, but don't count on it. I set the limit at three since that's usually the most I can do at once before it stops being fun and starts being a chore. I'll open another thread if I decide to do more, or edit this one into a more permanent request shop.

Just what it says--first three get their OC drawn after I get off work in four, five hours. The request must include: - Name, - Design refrence, - And a few lines about the character, to flesh them out. Ooh, cool! I've got a lot, but I think I'll pick Oracle, since he's the one with the most recent art. Despite his initial appearance, he's actually a unicorn, born with a genetic quirk that left him without a horn, so his magic manifests itself as telekinesis, random visions, and mind-reading abilities that he has a lot of difficulty channeling or even controlling. It tends to get worse when he's especially emotional. The exception to this is that he can get a vague idea of what others are thinking if they're close by and thinking about it hard enough, which is why his chosen profession is at a soothsayers' tent at a circus. With the general lack of control he has over his powers, he's pretty high-strung and prone to spells of introversion, irritableness, and bad migraines, but overall he's a well-meaning and friendly enough individual.

I kinda fell out of the MLP fandom for a while. I think the last episode I watched was the S3 finale? I kinda forgot that MLP Forums was a thing. But I was surfing tumblr the other day and saw a pony gifset and the 'ol fandom feels came back to slap me in the face so here I am! Also I got an art tablet a couple months ago. The thing I think I love most about it is that it allows me to get a level of detail that'd be almost impossible with my traditional tools. Even with the tablet, all those little curlicues and mane lines took me the better part of an hour! I've posted him before, but since it's been ages, this is Oracle! I've been in a depressive slump for the last few weeks and unable to draw to my satisfaction-most everything I've tried ends up crumpled up in the garbage. Taking requests usually helps kick my brain back into drawing mode. Post your OCs here and I'll draw them if they catch my eye. Adding descriptive info and backstory helps!

Yeah, it's supposed to resemble a beard just a little. Apparently unicorns, male and female, have beards in most mythologies, and lady luck dragons to, as well as, in real life, goats. So lately I've been making lady unicorn chins fuzzier than normal. Not like, full-on beard, but just a little additional fuzz as a throwback. On Chryssie it turned into a chin-curlicue-thingie.

The difference that two years can make, eh? So the MLP fandom came back and bit me in the art bug, so I drew a Queen Chryssi with a ton of curlicues and whatnot, then stuck an older drawing below for comparison. She's still got my favorite character design in the entire show, just above Discord. Oi. Now I want to draw more ponies. I haven't been keeping up with the show at all for... what now, 6 months? Yeah, about, ever since the Transformers fandom weaseled it's way into my little fangirl heart. Twilight has a kingdom now right? Really should catch up, but then I know I'll be poofing away from the TF fandom for like a month or so. I can never seem to keep up with more than one fandom at a time. It’s a vicious cycle, friends. Yep! I have a roleplay blog for my OC Barnabas Kelvin. He has a character page on the forums here! The tl;dr is that he's the owner and ringmaster of the Lume-Espectáculo Fairgrounds. His schtick is that he works with fireworks and owns several phoenixes (go to the character page for names and descriptions of,) and he's learned that if you feed phoenixes various metals and compounds, they'll burn different colors! This comes from a headcanon of mine that phoenixes' stomachs are essentially furnaces--if it can burn, they can eat it with no ill effect. The fairgrounds are big, with a huge garden, food stands, a resteraunt (of Taffy and Baker's,) a radio tower, rides, games, a lake... it's a good-sized plot of land with more than enough to entertain the masses. In the middle is the Stadium where the circus shows happen once a week. Most of the ponies who come to perform are hired by Barnabas just for the week. To only ponies who live on the fairgrounds are the ones listed above.

Hello, I'm Kiffy, and this is my obligatory 'I've not abandoned the forums' post! I've been busy moving, getting a job, finishing high school, and managing my roleplay blogs and kinda let this fall to the wayside. I haven't done any finished pony art recently, but with all the free time I'm about to get, that'll change quickly. In the meantime, I'm gonna be working on the final designs for the sixteen residents of Barnabas' Fairgrounds. I'm not done yet (outside of sketches,) but I figured I'd go ahead and share this: a chart of their names, colors, genders, and races. I'll post a sketchdump later, though! So I got a bunch of new art stuff and decided to test 'em out with the most colorful character I could think of! For never having used really expensive tools before, I actually think she turned out pretty well. Any tips for someone using Copics and Prismacolors for the first time?
