I like the "StarTrix" pairing because I think Starlight Glimmer and Trixie have great on-screen chemistry.

I mainly ship them because Trixie said this in "All Bottled Up":

I know Trixie meant "love" in a friendly way but if Lyra and Sweetie Drops are a couple I believe StarTrix could maybe be one too.

and that's completely fine! starlight and trixie just remind me of my best friend and i, and my extension sunburst is like my childhood best friend, so i feel a little bit protective. i'm also greyromantic and shipping can just. be a bit annoying at times, especially because i value platonic attraction over any other type.  i came off as a bit harsh in my original post, and i apologise, i was having an episode on multiple platforms. im sorry if i made you feel bad for shipping them. it's a popular ship and i can't get behind it, but if people wanna ship it, who am i to stand in their way? hell, i ship thorax with like half the cast lol. 

I understand and I'm not upset at all.
