      @Pastel HeartHow though?! I get Spike and Owllicus cause that was an "older sibling gets jealous of a younger sibling" episode thingie. But like, Twilight hatched him from an egg, give him a home, and raised from. And in Father Knows Beast he literally called her his mom...

      I think it's the fact that that Spike is really mature for his age, to the point that they are nearly the same maturity. That makes it seem more like a sibling relationship than a mather/child one.
