  1. Quite a bit that I'll wait for anyone to post something after if one hasn't done so or is updating. To start with, all 8 X-Men Evolution figures from McDonald's (CDs will be posted if I get to another post) as well as some Spider-Man walkie talkies that I haven't ever used, but kept, well as keep sakes: McDonald's set of The Spectacular Spider-Man (2009), Batman the Brave and the Bold Wave 1 and Young Justice Wave 2: A Pikachu backpack and the contents with in: A set of Marvel figures, plus a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers morpher and coins from McDonald's (1995), the Legacy Morpher and Coins finally the Big Bad Beetleborg figures:
  2. Ehh. Plenty of stuff are just as preachy back then and heavy handed. Especially. Super Friends, Static Shock, X-Men TAS, Captain Planet & The Planeteers.
  3. Yeah mostly curious if anyone else is following this series, but I'd say that discussion on older SBSC stuff is on the table. Is the show perfect? Probably not. Some might argue the interpretations are the best and each episodes being 4 minutes. But still arguably has some of the same energy as MLP G4. And the show is legally available to watch for free: https://www.youtube.com/@StrawberryShortcake Though the current Season (3) might have the entirety of it's eps on Netflix not to long into the rest of the year. That happens, yeah I'm berry binging. Incidentally besides Lemon Meringue's tomboy status (albeit as a mad scientist type instead of a jock), she is as in previous incarnations voiced by Andrea Libman. And I just imagine her upon seeing Pinkie Pie viewing her to be the bane of her existence.
  4. Oh I meant more that MLP G1 is really comparable to the same era's Transformers, but that TF gets more a pass cause it's male oriented. Don't get me wrong. Glad that there are girl properties getting effort, just that if one doesn't stick to solely good (unironically) stuff, it doesn't matter what gender the material is for.😅
  5. Oh I was talking about Little Witch Academia. Despite Academia in the title, it has no association with MHA. But I don't know. I think TOH did well with the content.
  6. 41 as stated in my introduction thread. Wasn't sure if anyone else close-by in age posted, or posting, but cool.
  7. Well here goes. Staring with the DVDs, toys, books and shirts: And the regular part of my collecting being the comic and trades. Keeping the G5 single issues, but the FiM ones I tend to give to kids in the family as I get trades: Albeit not MLP themed, but some decorations I used for my first MLP comic longbox relating to another similar interest which I do have some appropriate comics: Have the Manga themed books as posted here: https://mlpforums.com/topic/200445-any-anime-or-manga-fans/#comment-6149576 And more recent issues from this year: https://mlpforums.com/topic/20340-the-recent-purchases-thread/page/66/#comment-6149582
  8. And yeah, if anyone is subscribed to Netflix or gets Japanese DVDs, I recommended Little Witch Academia, especially if you enjoyed The Owl House. I mean two characters at some part arguably have a Pre-Lumity subtext to their relationship. It's actually comparisons to it early 2020 that got me into watching The Owl House. Additionally another source of free legal viewing is that Capcom USA has recently uploaded all of the Mega Man NT Warrior dub on their YouTube channel. Also the few pics I have from my DA account with anime DVDs in them and even some VHS tapes. As a bonus, all of my Super Sentai DVDs:
  9. Well besides his shows and movies, he was also the voice of Batmite on Batman The Brave and the Bold. Or basically a take that to anyone who was bothered by it not being completely dark.😁
  10. Yep. And as I said earlier, my more recent purchases of manga and other comics:
  11. Regularly get comics (manga and graphic novels included). So I'll be posting regularly in thread especially during the cooler seasons. And to start with a bang, my purchases from February to June:
  12. https://previewsworld.com/Catalog/JUN231435 And titled The Unicorn of Odd. I guess there's no place like Equestria.😁
  13. Thanks. The rest prior to what will be in the recent purchases thread (Plus a few extras as these are downloads from my DA account): Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, Super Mario Manga Manga, various Zelda manga and Dragon Quest Monsters+: Kingdom Hearts, Star Trek, My Little Pony, Maison Ikkoku (looking to replace the rest of the older Manga with the updated editions), Mega Man (Mega Mix and Giga Mix): And the rest of my Pokémon manga:
  14. As watching episodes of Family Ties and Spin City on Pluto TV put me into sort of a Back to the Future mood, the other day I watched: - Doc Hollywood - The Secret of My Success - Well the Back to the Future Trilogy Also I finally made an article for Family Ties on the BTTF wikia: https://backtothefuture.fandom.com/wiki/Family_Ties Long story short, affected production of the first movie and appears in-universe in Part II. Among a few minor bits of trivia.
  15. I will post some recent stuff here later tonight or during the weekend: As for what I had for years: Case Closed, Kare Kano, Fruits Basket with some extras in-between: Love As a Foreign Language, Densha Otoko, Time Stranger Kyoko, I.O.N., Short Tempered Melancholic and Other Stories, Mistress Fortune, Songs to Make You Smile and Kitchen Princess Omnibus: Aishiteruze Baby, Imadoki, Kare First Love, Harlequin Romances, Tokyo Mew Mew, Happy Hustle High, Marmalade Boy, Batman: The Jiro Kuwata Batmanga and A Silent Voice:
  16. Yep. Favorites include the original, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, What's New Scooby-Doo?, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated and Scooby-Doo & Guess Who?. Also followed the Scooby-Doo Team Up comics and The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries maxi series comic. Good time to be a Scooby-Doo fan as most classic entries are free for viewing on TubiTV.
  17. Well as someone who has watched animation aimed at girls more often there is the simple fun factor. It's like with the original MLP series. Is it good? Maybe not, but neither is say the original Transformers😁 which some hold up as being on par with Batman The Animated Series or Gargoyles.
  18. New here and couldn't find any answers. So I want to weigh in on a topic and a thread on such is old enough not to be on the first page of a forum. Do I start a new thread or can I bump an old thread as long as my post has some effort put into it (Like not a one word or sentence response)?
  19. I enjoy them as much as I enjoy animation and comics in general yes. Though I prefer the series up to the end of the Diamond and Pearl era (have Kanto through Johto on DVD), I do enjoy watching Pokémon. Looking forward to the dub with the new cast. Yu-Gi-Oh and Beyblade make for some fun guilty pleasures, especially since both are legally available to stream for free. Occasionally keep up with Dragon Ball. Have a couple Speed Racer DVD. Definite fan of Clannad and Clannad After Story. Also Little Witch Academia and A Silent Voice. Anyway, if the thread is still going on, I'll post the manga stuff later. Possibly even the pics.
  20. No, but seriously greetings. Watched the original Generation 1 My Little Pony as I did any other cartoon of the 80s and watch such more often when G4 was finishing Season 7. Yeah I'm 41 and have been since April this year. Started watching the recent stuff, but have already been following the tie in comics which are fun and surprisingly (Not a guarantee with all ages titles) done in one even during the Discord arc. My name is based off both Marvel Comics Beyonder (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beyonder) and DC Comics Anti-Monitor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Monitor). The merging if them based off a collaboration the two companies did in some one shots dubbed Amalgam Comics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amalgam_Comics).
