  1. I usually use Ebay or Mercari to purchase older gen ponies (although you do have to be careful on Mercari). That being said, I don't use one specific website, I usually have a specific pony in mind to see where it's available. As long as you check the reviews or seller rating on whatever website you use, it should be fine
  2. I think it's less about the trope itself and more about bad writing. There are some antagonists that are redeemable and have really good redemption arcs (think Zuko from Avatar), but I think it's only lackluster if the villain has done irredeemable things or if their arc to become better is lacking or rushed. I feel like if either of those things happen it just reflects poorly on the protagonists. Like what do you mean you're okay with (insert atrocity here) because the villain said they're super sorry? I think it might be a result of lazy/rushed writing because the writers want to have a peaceful solution but don't want to have to actually put in the work into making the villain actually work to be redeemed. That being said, a misunderstood villain doesn't always mean that they are intended to be redeemable. There are some villains who start off as misunderstood with the potential for redemption but then spiral into being irredeemable.
  3. Generally no, I don't think I've ever been haunted or anything like that. I have had a few experiences that have made me question, but I'm not entirely convinced.
  4. Honestly I don't find a ton of things cringe because it's mostly people having fun, BUT... - Adult YouTubers making tons of videos on little kids' OCs to complain about them being 'Mary Sues' (is some random 12-year-old's alicorn OC really that important and horrible?) - How some vendors at conventions had suggestive pony art and body pillows out in the open during supposedly family friendly hours - Any time bronies got irrationally angry at the show, I get it's important to a lot of people, but something about thousands of teens or older raging over a magical rainbow alicorn baby for "messing up (already inconsistent) lore" was just...odd to me. I didn't really like some decisions in the show either, but at the end of the day it's important to remember that MLP's first priority was always marketing and selling toys, and that we aren't really the target audience. There's bound to be times when they put making new and cute toys and merchandise over good storytelling or worldbuilding.
  5. I watched all of it, but I find myself revisiting the earlier seasons more. I don't really rewatch season 8 or 9 aside from a few episodes, but I didn't hate it or anything.
  6. We see that regular Luna tends to be more introverted and less inclined to socialize, so Nightmare Moon might be even more so. Parties would probably be a lot more like ceremonies and may be a lot more quiet and toned down. That doesn't sound too bad to me, but for most party ponies it'd be boring.
  7. A unicorn! I'd love to have magic, and even before MLP I've always felt a connection to unicorns as well.
  8. It's hard to say since we don't see a lot, but I think her being corrupted would make her a lot harsher than regular Luna. I think she'd still protect her people, as not doing so would make her a bad leader which would be a blow to her ego. I think the kingdom would be a complete dictatorship with very little personal freedom, but Nightmare Moon has enforced so much propaganda that her subjects don't pay it much mind and may even be more devoted to her because of it. It's possible a few ponies might stand against her, but I can't imagine that'd end well with Nightmare Moon's power and control. Either way, if she wanted to keep her kingdom's power and productivity she'd at least have to ensure the ponies had basic necessities so she'd have to help her subjects at least a little.
  9. Mostly depends on whether I have school or not. School days: I usually have to skip breakfast since eating too early in the morning makes me nauseous, lunch is 50/50 since it's usually really bad at school and I prefer to snack throughout the day (thank you teachers for being cool with it ), then I usually eat another snack after school to tide me over until dinner! Weekends: Breakfast around 8 AM when I get up, lunch can vary depending on when I get hungry, dinner is whenever the rest of my family is hungry and one of us makes something (usually around 5-7)
  10. When I was a toddler my sister owned some G3 ponies. I vividly remember chewing on their legs. Sorry ponies
  11. If you like G5 then maybe, but currently at least you can find most G4 (and even some earlier gen) content on YouTube.
  12. 1. Fluttershy - Her design, her animals, her personality? It's all so cuuuuute! 2. Applejack - Her freckles and personality are just really endearing to me, not sure why 3. Twilight - Her personality is just 'adorkable' and I loved how sassy she was in the earlier seasons 4. Pinkie Pie - Still definitely cute so she's around the middle of the ranking 5. Rarity - More pretty than cute, I'd say, but there is something cute about when she gets dramatic or excited 6. Rainbow Dash - I love her, but I'd say she's way more cool that cute
  13. Horses are mostly herbivore, but can be pretty opportunistic. I've heard of horses eating fish before, and even mice ! Obviously not a good staple in their diet, but a lot will eat whatever they can. So maybe Dash would eat it on her own...? Either way, I probably wouldn't dare her to.
  14. Well, I don't see either side really winning. Regardless of whether humanity is turned into ponies, we'd still have all of the same evil traits, just with wings and magic to carry them out too. And if humanity wins and wipes out all ponies, we lose access to all potential magic and technology they could offer us. Ideally there'd be peace between all of us, but if ponies were really that convinced that humans were evil (which I could understand, comparing our society to theirs), it doesn't seem like there's much hope for that. Although, being a pony and living amongst a mostly peaceful species of magical fluffy beings doesn't sound horrible. It's mostly Equestria attempting to forcibly annex and have complete control over the entire planet that I'd have an issue with.
  15. As much as I love Trixie, I feel as though living with her could get a bit chaotic. Although, she does tour a lot so maybe it'd be a bit calmer?
  16. I feel like out of all the reasons someone could have beef with bronies, devil worship is probably the most perplexing...
  17. Maybe something playing off the word "metamorphosis"? Since Chrysalis is the stage in a butterfly's transformation before metamorphosis. It seems like a lot of changelings have names based off of bug or other anatomical parts too, so you could see if there are any insect related names that'd work too.
  18. Yes!! I got Cadance! She's been on my to-draw list for a while
  19. Thank you so much !! 80s - 2000s shoujo anime and manga has been a huge inspiration to me in my style. I adore your artwork too, it does a great job of capturing a similar vibe and I think the colors always pop and flow together really well
  20. @ThePinkestofPones "I've had Pickle for a while, since I was a little foal...I was a bit hungry when I named him. I actually first got him in Ponyville. My parents made a small stop there to stock up on supplies, but somehow I got lost. I was a bit of a scaredy-pony back then so I immediately started bawling, of course. An older mare stopped to comfort me and gave me a plush bunny before helping me find my parents. I've had Pickle with me ever since!"
  21. I can get behind most ships as long at there's nothing questionable involved, I think a lot of pairings have the potential to be cute even if they aren't canon. I think my favorite ships would have to be either Trixie x Starlight or Rarijack!
  22. Back in my freshman and sophomore years my school's computers didn't have as strong blocks so I downloaded a lot of those horror RPGmaker games from mirror sites and played them whenever I was finished with my work. Most of it was just regular spooky stuff, but a few have sort of odd content in them. Starting junior they got a lot stricter though and now you can't run any application that's not pre-approved. I'm not much of a hacker though, and ehh....it's not worth the fight. I should really lock in and focus on my schoolwork more anyways
  23. I really, really want a burger right now...
  24. "It's a difficult question...I love going everywhere! But a recent favorite of mine was Hippogriffia. It was a bit of a climb to get to the top of Mount Aris, but the sight was just so pretty, and the Hippogriffs were very friendly! I'd enjoy going back again, but not for awhile. Currently I'm trying to figure out a way to travel Cloudsdale..."
