  1. I guess this is what happens when two brilliantly chaotic minds collide. Pure, genuine gold.

Honestly, I am actually extremely happy about this! Even though I'm just Mr. Random McRando passing by, this meeting between you two was just so beautiful. I've actually been sorta looking into both of you for a while now. Whenever I see your posts around the RP section, for instance, I just have to stop for a moment and take a read. I've said it before in Widdershins' critique thread and I'll say it again: this style of writing you folks have is just so damn entertaining! It's a skill I've always wished I had, and it's something I can really appreciate and respect.

Not sure if this counts coming from me, but mazel tov to you two. Seriously, congratulations. I sincerely hope this, uh... quirky friendship flourishes and that you two keep coming up with these incredibly creative and unique encounters. Friendship truly is magic after all.

  2. I hear ya. More often than not, seemingly opposite forces are actually complementary, in the sense that one simply cannot be without the other. Good things exist because bad things exist. Likewise, you can't bring peace to a world that has no conflict it: it would be illogical. I feel like that's what harmony means. It's the natural balance between opposite sides that, y'know... keeps the world spinning.

I think this is sort of how the concept of the Chinese Yin-Yang works? I could be wrong.

Of course, there's the entire philosphy behind the act of war and the taking of innocent lives and such. But as you said, solving that wouldn't equal to world peace. It's a very broad, thrown-around term.

  3. :o How did you forget those, out of all of them! D:

I see Psy so often in the show. And I played Tangela, Schyter and Pinsir cards so often in the video game of the Pokemon card game.

I don't know either, it's weird. I'm impressed I remembered some Pokemon like Jynx and Doduo and forgot about Psyduck and Schyter. :/

  4. That's awesome! I've always wished I could meet at least one other person who had so much in common with me (I only have one friend like that, everyone else is just "someone I know"), but at the same time, I think that might be one of my own problems. Why do I think that we can only be friends if we have everything in common; I should try and associate with others because we share common interests and not see them as a limiting factor.

I think your experience shows that in many cases, the people you see keeping to themselves are shy as well. I usually feel like people don't talk to me because they don't think I'm "worthy" or something. :P And I don't talk to them because I'm afraid of being judged. I know I'm not making my situation any better, but it's hard, it's something I need to learn to overcome. I think if I voiced my thoughts more often, I might appear more impulsive, random or stupid, but I would probably have more people who would want to talk with me and who I'd want to talk with.

It's really awesome that you found someone who you had so much in common with! That makes it so much easier. :D It feels wonderful knowing you have someone you look forward to talking with. I just hope something similar happens to me soon. *walks outside with brony shirt on*

I wouldn't say we have much in common, even though we didn't have enough time to talk yet. But the very few things in common we already have and the interest they firstly lit up in me were already enough to start off such search-for-friendship. ;P

But yeah, this is what I've been practicing lately: to take initiative in the conversations. To put up my "whatever" mask and speak up without hesitations. Who knows, perhaps the one little thing we have in common turn out to be many. :3

This is actually something the brony community has been teaching me.

  5. I've never been particularly into the kind of blogs where people just kinda run down their day, generally preferring the kind where they choose a specific topic to talk/rant about, but I must say I enjoyed reading this.

    Thanks a lot. :)

I'll try to post more accurate entries about specific subjects in the future. Today was kind of unusual, and I just wanted to point out a few events. But I believe it'll be easier for me to discuss about certain topics rather than telling people about my day.
