The smell wasn't anywhere near pleasant, as well. She crossed her arms, rubbing off some of the moisture that had attached to her skin. She remained standing still for a while. The mare couldn't exactly think straight. She wanted out, but they were only descending deeper and deeper into madness. She didn't know whether or not it had been a good idea to try and find that fabled serum: in fact, she didn't want to think too hard about it. Her mind was foggy, not too different from the swamp outside. "...Have I ever told you about the time I went to jail?" She asked nonchalantly, trying to make conversation. She wasn't one to strategize about their objectives, after all.

Lory sighed in annoyance. "Whatever..." She said under her breath and followed Raze back inside the house. Now with that obstacle out of the way, they could finally sneak past the previously infested room and reach the old house's interior. Lory took a few steps into the newly accessible room and began looking around. From the looks of it, no more hornets or dangerous-looking insects seemed to be in sight. With that, she proceeded into the narrow corridor.

Well, yes... I personally don't see why not. I mean, of course I've had feelings for my friends at some point. Whenever I first meet someone new, one of my very first thoughts are: "When are we gonna get engaged? Where will we buy our house? How many children will we have and what will their names be?" That's just instinct. You see someone single and attractive, you want a chance to make something happen. Absolutely. That's human. But it's a feeling we have to control if we want to keep that person close to ourselves as "only friends". If we only get close to someone with the sole purpose of dating them, that's not friendship. We get close to someone in order to get to know them. To see if we can form a meaningful bond. To be friends. As I said, not everything has to be about sex. If my lady friend is fun to be around, a good company, understands me, helps me through tough times and vice-versa, that's wonderful! Why would I want to ruin this beautiful friendship by trying to get inside her pants?

What the hell, absolutely a woman and a man can be friends! I'm a bloke and I have tons of lady friends! Any two human beings can be friends, regardless of gender or sexual preference. Not everything in life revolves around getting laid. If you enjoy someone else's company, you're friends. If you REALLY enjoy someone else's company and the feeling is mutual, you may proceed to the next step. It's just as simple as that. There's no multidimensional equation to solve.

I might be up for this concept... Definitely sounds interesting. I've got just the perfect character for it, too~ I'm not sure about ideas to give you, but maybe you could implement something like a "graduating system" (unsure if this already was in the RP or not). The guards could come up with some sorts of little challenges or activities for the convicts to carry out, and if they succeed they can climb the ranks, either becoming a reformed guard or even being allowed to escape the prison. Other than that, I can't think of much else unfortunately.
