It's not just us men that think this either, I've seen women you used to identify as feminists forsaking the label because of that the movement is turning into and being associated with.
-
I understand, and agree, completely. There seems to be some in discernible hostility that wasn't here say, a year ago. Because of this I constantly leave. But the fellowship it brings is too great to resist, so I'm always coming back. Perhaps things will change, I don't know.
I'm hoping this turns out to be the law of fandom jackassery kicking in and things improve over the next couple years now that the explosions have finally happened so they can cleaned up.

You know, you aren't the first fan I've conversed with that has had to deal with this....I think this is actually becoming more and more of a problem within our fandom.
It IS. The self-proclaimed moral crusaders who use it as mask to conceal their toxic personalities and manipulate others into thinking they're just victims are ripping this place apart and causing civil war after civil war within the fandom.
It pains me even more when they turn their supporters fury on those that seem to be legitimately nice people.

Oh, it's THAT kind of issue :l
Derp.
Yeah, I don't understand fake 'authority' either, don't worry
Said part is I feel sad for their dwindling supports rather that angry because I see good-hearted people been emotionally manipulated into seeing them as a victim and been taken advantage of.
That's why this person makes my blood boil so much. The way they've used deceit and emotional manipulation to take advantage of good people and turn them against the rest of us.

There's one thing that people tend to overlook when thinking of this fandom:
It consists from the very same people every other fandom consists of, it's not attended by superhumans, we're all just different units from different parts of the world.
Sure, the show is all about any and all positive aspects of humanity you could ever think of, but the issue is that we cannot just endlessly squeeze our emotions inside and walk around happy all the time.
For example, personally I expect NOBODY to openly express and stand behind all these positive aspects. But I expect everyone to try. And that's what matters in my opinion, whether we are trying to do so or just stick around because the show is 'awesome'.
Just because the show is so innocent doesn't mean that we automatically are as well.
Hope I'm helping D:
Cheers.
The issue isn't with the main person I refer to isn't being human so much as being held up as a saint when they've done(and still do) nothing production and do deplorable and manipulative things.

That's why you take a Computer Science class, instead
It's not available in this program.
-
I second GIMP.

I feel your pain. I'm taking online college courses and 2/3 of my teachers like drop huge workloads on little-to-no-notice.
-
Seriously? "Intro to Computers" is sponsored by Expedia.com now?
and apparently Microsoft because the class requires Office 2013 and AT LEAST Windows 7. I feel bad for the people that signed up with older PCs because they really needed to learn computer basics.

Some of us are nice geeky people.
Others are so manly that their eyebrows are mustaches.
I can only hope to one day have 'brows that awesome.

The key is to find a balance between enjoyment and pay. You don't want to stuck working a career you don't enjoy or really have your heart in just because it pays well.
As for the match, as someone with a guilty pleasure for numbers I'm not sure what to tell you there. I can relate another way though. Due to me bad experiences with teachers that taught it poorly I'm incredibly intimidate by Social Studies classes. I only got lucky and the local college I sought online learning courses at had something teaching computer and graphic design work(which is what I want to learn about) straight up without any extra cores unrelated to the material.
All I can say is keep trying to find your way and never give up. I'm 21 and nearly four years out of High-School and I've just NOW started to even attempted to take the first step in figuring things out, so it can take time and patience to find your place in this world.

That's just sad

I think the only time you have the right call something abnormal(pending the obvious like having a gaping hole in your chest or puking blood) is if the it's harmful.

To be fare, the other guy kind of did to.

Good luck, if you find a girlfriend you're one step ahead in life past me .

So...what's the point of Nintendo releasing this console? They know no one will buy it, so why waste such an investment. They could've used that money for other and more important things. :/
Hell if I know, I could see it working it was dirt cheap(like $50-$60 or even less) but not at a $100+ price point where you can the far better old models second hand for less.
-
It's pretty much a console version of the PSPGo, just with physical games instead of digital(in the case of the Go)
I have no idea why NoA decided to bring this here, especially considering you can by the original version elsewere for the same price or less
Shit, I can get a first-gen Wii for like $60 here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed he was a bit "flamboyant", this reminds me of a comic where the punchline was Twilight going "wait, Hoity Toity likes mares?" XD
-
The Rainbow Dash comic was weird, the dialog almost reads like someone that only had English as a decent second language wrote it.
-
Being someone who grew up with one foot in the 80s due to how much hand-me down and second hand media I had as a kid, I loved it.
Oh, and the Highlander poster was awesome.
-
That's odd, after I told it off a few times mine quit asking me if I wanted to switch names.
-
I think PinkieGuy was going to Ponycon AU this week, he might be practicing
Odd, his channel seems to be down(unless he migrated to a new website)
-
I want it all!
I'll give you two dimes and a shiny nick for it all! XD
JK, but very impressive, the MGS series is awesome, so no doubt I would do the same.
It's one of my favorite game series of all time. I still remember how mind-blowing finishing MGS2 for the first time in High-School was.

trophy's don't mean much to me. I just enjoy the game and if I happen to earn one so be it but I don't go out my way to do it. I agree about the HD. Guns of the Patriots was awesome in HD.
That game was such a emotional trip, actually going down memory lane in Shadow Moses and the final battle with Ocelot really hammered it home that it was Snake's final chapter and time to say goodbye.
The fact Johnny finally finally stepped up and had his moment and happy ending along with Meryll after being the butt-monkey all those years is a nice touch to.
I don't think I've ever seen a game wrap up everyone's story as well as MGS4 did, there was points I almost cried because I felt like it wasn't just Snake's fight, it was mine to because I followed behind him all these years and I was finally seeing it through and facing the final chapter.

The one that pisses me off the most is calling anyone that dares talk about the difficult subject of rape without bowing down to their exact views on what constitutes rape culture and such a rapist or rape-apologist.
