It's clear and the seeing conditions are decent. I'm currently waiting on the mirror to cool down on my dob. Gonna take a shot at imaging one of the ice giants. Probably Uranus, since it's a bit easier to find.
Lucky!... And that's awesome! Will you share it with me if you successfully image it? The furthest planet I've seen in our solar system so far is Saturn.
I imaged Uranus and Neptune a few weeks ago with the Celestron C8. No detail can be seen. Just the color and disk. I have a thread in the Nonpony Art section with my previous images if interested.
