The stuff people waste is just disgraceful, I often go outside and see the dumpster full of chairs, tables and mattresses. There are people who have nothing and yet there are people who throw out everything.

I had a friend who was a garbage man for about a year. Once a week, he had a route through this really rich neighborhood, and he ended up with 2 laptops, a set of speakers, and a few cell phones. None were very good, but they all worked. I don't get just throwing stuff like that away. When i replace electronics, I either take them apart, or install linux on them and run weird little programs on them 24/7 for no reason.
