@@LunaFlower226, @, Emi turned around to see not just Luna but with another mare the manegta eyes of the pegasus have seen some times in the house but never hot the chance to talk to "There you are filly where where you I have great news, and I hope you liked the idea because the ponies at the Music School are planing some great stuff". Emi then turned her eyes to the red winged mare at the side of Luna she had a lovely mane fixed in a very particular way, "Hello there im Earth Miracle I have a room on the second floor I have see you around but never had the chance to introduce myself." The alabaster mare said to this new pony she looked kind of nice and if she was with Luna that meant she was a nice mare.

The day on Appleoosa Music School was great Emi finished her classes there and also helped a bit with the organization of the local talent show, in fact given that some of the mares back at home were prominent musicians she was exited to share this with her roommates and maybe plan a good event for eveypony at home. The white mare got to home happily toting with the good news a charming smile was all over her face as she hummed a catchy tune with her voice, "Im home everypony" Emi said with a not to loud voice to make sure the mares were aware of her arrival but not annoyed by it. With soft flutter of her wings she went upstairs and dropped all she was carrying she took a second to see a picture of her "family" back at Ponyville and then went straigh to Luna's room "hey luna you in there? "Too slow" the dragon thought as he was unable to react to the newly grown vines from the beast falling entangled into its grasp. "Argh!!!" he scream as the grip put his movements into a halt and trying to crush the bones below scale and flesh the resistance of the dragon was put to the test. "Resist! don't crack" Colt thought as the grip felt like choking his whole being blurring his sight with a dark blur at the same time a "burnt" feeling began to torch his skin, the darkness shadows were consuming him making all worse on his left arm, the one scorched by the previous fight. The dragon felt his bones almost to break when the creature took impulse to throw him back to the ground. Colt noticed the aim of the creature towards the injured ponies and Electro and knew he would have to react, unfortunately the shadow movement was much stronger of what Colt had in mind and he was just able to open his wings a little to slow down the fall in an almost insignificant way but just enough to make the landing not deadly. "Ooomph" was the sound that escaped from the the dragon's snout when his chest crashed to the ground, the impact that was slightly damped by a quick reaction. Immediately just as his long passed training prepared his reflexes Colt rolled back to his legs but the damage was done, unable to stay on them Colt went down to one knee on the floor sporting himself with his still uninjured arm, it was then when he felt it. The same numbness and pain he felt produced by the vices was still in his body..."Dark Poison" he thought having memories of his experience about the dark arts, his limbs were numb and his attention out of the way it was the scream of the beast that put him back into his scenes. Spears were flying to him and the ponies behind him Colt tried to react with something at least use his body as shield to guard the ones behind him but it was too late, the only thing he could do was to tense his body and make sure no threat reach those behind him, then nothing make sense. The sharped points splattered around like crashing against the air, the confused eyes of the dragon delayed to watch a savior veil of azure translucent light “A shield?” he though it was impossible he didn’t created it and Daylight was out, Ice? Ice… A silhouette ran past the dragon for a moment he saw the night and the stars in front of his eyes but this sky had a voice and the voice was calming for Ice Storm’s name. It all drop down to Colt’s mind in seconds now around her hooves the youngest of the royal alicorns was holding the injured body of the Icy Mare “The Moon!” Colt whispered astonished by the sight of Princess Luna his eyes gazed towards the shield, “This is her magic… she saved us” the dragon understood while his body paralyzed by the shock was unable to move due the rush in his mind was processing. He never noticed the vine that entangled the Princess and for seconds that felt like hours the dragon saw the avatar of the night repelling the attack her pain her agony the way the darkness was ravaging her body consuming her life “A nightmare… this must be a nightmare” he raised his right hand and focused…nothing…”You are awake fool they are dying and won’t come back to die again” his mind resounded with words of unforgiving meaning, then once Luna brought him back to reality. “Ponies are to create, dragon’s are to destroy” in reaction to the scene at his eyes Colt's mind gave him the dogma he have hated for ever since he knew his own kin but it didn’t matter how much he could hate it, it was true, now it was time to prove it."The moon cant perish the hope cant die" His head was back in the game thinking and tracing the way to bring the monster down “That is a creature of demise they are our best chance” back to his senses Colt comprehended he was not the one able to defeat the beast Daylight was. With his hopes high the dragon ran to the side of Ice Storm, Electro, and Daylight. He took the golden pony head, good Celestia he was awake. “Celestia bless you Alex” The dragon thought while watching how the pegasus was trying with all his might to rescue Princess Luna he felt so much admiration for the ponies, they were resolved to survive with her Princess, to overcome all and the pegasi of the group proved that by rescuing Luna and facing the dark being. By now Iron Wing was dealing with what they could winning each one of those seconds that were vital for them. Ice Storm was in shock, who could blame her and Daylight looked as confused as he could be. Colt helped Day to sit down and turned his attention to Ice “Ice, come on!” he screamed to the mare she did not react, Colt placed his paws on her shoulders and shook the mare, the pain in his left arm was now more than noticeable but it didn’t matter ”Ice come back we need you everything needs you.” He tried to connect to the mare with all his will using the core of his soul sending a signal for her to follow back to reality “You all, you five are Equestria, you are here because the sun sent you, if you fall here everything else will be lost please come back and listen to me” There was no way he could know if Ice was listening to him. Colt was only able to hope and trust in her strength “Listen you have to give all your magic to Daylight, your magic your feelings everything channel all you have to him… Daylight” he said looking now to the male unicorn the eyes of Colt were glowing with the brim of his magic and soul “I know you are tired we but all depends on you The World its life this mare at your side it all rest in you my friend…Use your and Ice’s power blast this beast as you did with the treant… he wont move, you will have a clean shot I promise” Colt left the unicorn couple behind his face showed determination his eyes a flare of golden light he knew what to do. Step by step the claws of the dragon increased speed, running towards the now distracted beast, Alex and Iron were doing an amazing job, he felt proud so proud of the blue pegasus. Now running as fast as he could the dragon locked on his target, his claws were glowing with a white light and a stream of diamond like dust left behind as he moved it was time this was his wish, his desire to give what he could for the world he loved so much. The shadow beast noticed the dragon but it was just too late for him the vines were no fast enough Colt was now sliding on the ground and placed himself below the creature right between his two legs. With one knee placed on the ground and his wings at his sides each one of Colt magical infused claws pierced the darkness of the monster’s limbs and with his magic the dragon grabbed darkness itself sending his spell into the monster. The dark energy essence of the shadow began to frost becoming black crystals of ice from its insides, the dragon froze inch by inch the monster foot keeping him stuck to him and the ground, it was a success sadly this was just the start of the plan and a moment after Colt felt what he knew to be his punishment. A slam into the dragons back resounded deep and harsh into the forest, the beast now screaming and desperate punched with his might the back of the dragon. Colt felt how his bones screamed with pain and his flesh broke below his scales, it was a feeling soon to be re-experienced as the shadow repeatedly smashed Colt’s body with hammer like arms. To make it worse the dark energy inside the shadow body was consuming Colt’s arms, feeling his flesh burned by darkness Colt was fighting with his will the corruption the dark being sent into the dragon’s body. “Hold Colt, you can’t break, it doesn't matter what he does you can’t break” his will was sustaining his magic, body and resistance, the next impacts on his frame broke the dragon’s wings sending a wave of pain that remembered him how alive he was. “They are the sun’s last hope…the moon came here to save them… they can’t fail they are the ones to live, they are the future, endure Colt, shield them, give them the chance” the dragon’s mind was fixed to this he abandoned all for the five ponies he was there just for them to survive. The ice was now reaching the monster’s “knees” his screams reached and filled the forest with horror another impact made Colt to cough with blood painting the floor with crimson. “Don’t break Don’t break Don’t break Don’t break...” Was the sole idea in the dragon’s mind in then his voiced roared for the ponies he placed all his hopes “you wont break me bastard you have already lost DAY, ICE PLEASE DO IT. BLAST HIM NOW”

"Woa!" Emi said feeling a shiver all across her spine and over her skin "Things are getting dense here better go out before something else happens" she thought as she could "feel" the vibe of the place and the conflicted hearts of the ponies around... "They may need some time alone, if things don't change by when I come back I will better do something to keep this mares happy" were the ends of her though as she garbed her stuff getting ready to go out to work. "See you all after work" she souted going to the local music school

"Wow whats the rush!" Emi said as arrow went to her room she finished her breakfast and was not just relaxing on the couch... "Maybe she got the call...stupid brother influence" she thought was she shooke her head in a silly way as the masculine words of her brother polluted her mind..."Also thats such a nice tune" she said as she enjoyed the music from star room. She was just chilling out before going to the local music school to give a class.

"Wow what a night..." a confused mare that waked up on her bed thought realizing it that after her performance it felt like somepony just stole her time in a very rude and inconsiderate way. "I just don't know what went yesterday" was how she finished her thoughts realizing there was no memory in to recall of what happened after after her duet with Luna..."Arg, this is so annoying" she said while walking out of bed and entering to the shower. With care and "her special skills" she washed both mane and tail, getting all ready for the dray and washing away her bad mood for the weird lost hours on her past. She then went down stairs out of her room to find some breakfast. "Goodmorning girls any plans 2day?"

"Well then we dont have time to lose our audience is waiting Luna" Emi said answering to the remaining mare on the front row of the improvised scenario. Emi flapped her way to the side of Luna smiling at her, she was so exited to finaly be able to play with her, this was the first time she would play in a duet with a clarinet and she knew, for what she listened at the apartment, that Luna was a very deep performer able to imprint a lot of feelings in her notes and knowing she had already the stage for her she decided to give the control to the blue feathered pegasus. "Well I dont know any pieces for guitar and clarinet so lets do this... you lead, play whatever you want I will feel and ensemble with you with my strings" Emi said taking Luna from her hoof and pulling her to the middle of the kiosk, for the white mare it was Luna's turn to shine and shine she did. Emi felt what Luna was trying to perform and followed with her cords she felt a link with her it was an unusual mix of musical skills but that just made the piece more enjoyable for her.

Emi finished her song opening her eyes noticing how things turned out well Cawana and Starnotes look so cute together she didnt dare to say a thing about them leaving together, she felt they were happy and realized there was nothing for her to say so she looked into Luna while fixing the cords of her new guitar "Well I think warm up us over and I cant wait to play together with you Luna, you ready now?" "As long as there is a heart to beat to the music rhythm I will keep the music flowing" the alabaster pegasus said looking back to the blue eyes of Arrow, "Sorry that's something a teacher made me write while detention ", Emi said closing her right eye and poking her tongue out in a playful way, "If you want to keep listening we will keep playing the moon has not reach its crown so night is still young" she said pointing to the white beautiful full moon on the sky.

Right after she opened her eyes ending the song Emi saw her roommates talking and a special glint in their eyes, she felt something around and decided to help things to fall down one way or another, "Lets help a little with the mood" were her whispers. Each note each stroke each sound was played with her heart, maybe the girls were able to feel her good mood, it was after all a great night the stars and the moon were right on the top as she played for her friends and herself to be happy. "Things tomorrow may be hard or not as nice as this , but that is just ahead i will make this moment better" were the thoughts of the guitarist enjoying her time in the night.

As the other mare's find a place to sit Emi checked the tune of each one of the cords, silently making performing different notes with her voice to tune the sound of the guitar going up and down those 6 metal cords to feel them in her hoof, it was a little like a ritual for her, this was her new friend in her hands and they were going to be attached to each other "what better way to get to know each other than this kind of chat" she thought towards the instrument. "Ill warm up a little Luna until you are ready" the mare said to her musical partner.@@LunaFlower226, "Ok time to say hi to eveypony with your voice" said the white mare with a whisper as she connected the guitar to the amplifier a moment later her eyes closed and helped by her wings the mare stood on her hind legs the plectrum ring around her hoof started to recognize its match on the strings and slowly Emi began to imagine the tune in her head, the rhythm was created and it translated in a soft wave of her hips and body to escort the melody she performed. She finished amazed with the feeling she got to play with her new friend "just as they said, a perfect match" Emi thought remembering what the ponies back in Canterlot told her.

The white mare nodded to Luna's words as the groop walked down the street in the direction to the park, "Well we have the instruments the crowd and the music inside i bet this is going to be a great time for all of us " said Emi eager to get to the kiosk right in the center of the park, the night road was lighted by the fire flies lights and the warm calmed season made all look and feel good. The group entered the park, and some night life was around, couples walking buy some friends hanging around and having fun and even a group of ponies getting ready to go home after a picnic. They reached the kiosk and luckily it was empty. "Great!" said the violet maned pony "Just let me set all up and we will be ready to start" With fast moves she took out both the amplifier from its bag and the guitar from its case, she readied all and made some test on the cords for the tune. "Well Luna what would you like to play?" Emi said happily.

8/10 dont like it that much looks like generic party stuff... but party canon Pinkie stole my heart

As the dragon was deep in a mix of his thoughts and memories he froze in spot once more when the eyes of the alicorn found his own. "She is looking at me... why does she... no it cant be... just act smooth Colt relax dont panic ", yes those were the thoughts and instructions in Colt's mind the sad part was his body was unable to follow, lost in the teal eyes of Luna she felt his mind being scavenged as she looked his wings and scales. Then Luna finished her "inspection" and talked to the dragon once again the foolish state in the dragon's mind was unable to react "Say something you Idiot she is not comfortable with you looking at her like that" his mind once again send an other the one that was not followed by Colt's mouth making his mind scream with annoyance "Oh! come on!" While the sentient part of Colt was arguing with his stupid self and trying to regain control Iron Wing came by and saved the him at least she gained some time "welll that makes another mark on the saved my tail count" Colt thought as he listen to the two mare's chatting. The way Iron talked to her and how her eyes looked make things click in the Colt's mind "She said she wanted to be treated like any other pony..." the dragon felt a warm shiver that was sparked by this new understanding of the monarch of the night "she wants to be with them... be one of them... That sounds very familiar don't you think idiot" both though and feelings of the dragon were cleansed yes there were still some threat and a slight chance that Luna could crack the life he was building in the town but that didn't matter now he wasn't there to be one of those who fall for their fears and with that he took a deep breath and joined the two mares at the table Just before Luna gave an answer to Iron's question the Colt picked up in his mind what Luna wanted to know something made the dragon smile a little "My parents they...chose my name with a silly thinking" he paused for a second after all that was a rude interruption to the mare's conversation. "Sorry, I didn't wanted to interrupt,and also sorry for my sudden statue like shocks I just some times feel nervous around ponies" he said with a slight shrug "going back to my parents, they argue for some time what my name should be, each time they told me the story both said they reached a dead end on that, then one day my mother took me to the fruit fields to help my dad with the harvest, she let me play a little in the ground and before she knew I was pulling the straps of the plow trying to mimic my dad" Colt smiled having the memory of his parents telling this same story to him "Well that's why they told me I dont remember any of that i was too young... so my Mom looked at me and called my Dad, he said that I looked just like a colt, they said right there something clicked... and that's why they gave me that name...also each time somepony ask them about this they used to answer, "If ponies are named after so many things, including dragons. why a dragon cant be name after pony things too", that always made me smile" by saying this and as an evidence of his words a slight smile was sketched on Colt's face remembering those kind ponies who took them as his own son. "But yes that's the story behind my name, nothing groundbreaking uh?" he said leaning back in his chair a bit, "still, thats an old story and I have to say, with all due respect, just as Iron Im very curious about your life in Canterlot, beyond all the responsibilities of course what do you like ? and what you do during day... other than visiting your pupils and their friends in Poniville " he said taking back the topic to the princess and Iron Wing's queries. Also by that moment Colt noticed Duran suffering from a hard episode of brain freeze, something that make him grin a bit more as he thought "Haha, serves you well furball" The mare smiled and take a quick sight to Ice in response of the magical delivered bowl, "Thanks Ms. Ice it looks delicious", said Emi to her kind host very eager to taste her ice-cream, the wait was proving to be hard but ElectroBolt's answer was quite interesting "Its nice to find somepony that is not hungry of fame and fortune, and even more after all the commotion and glamour Canterlot has, I have to say Im also a pony that enjoy the simple liife, I think fame could be a pain when one cant have its own life to itself between you and me I sometimes feel too nervous when I perform" the pegasus said making a silly face while shrugging. Taking a small taste of the icream she realized what was the plan behind his brother's mind "You want to soft me with my favorite Ice-cream dont you tricky dragon..." she thought while having a second taste "...damn its so good it might work" she was unable to succumb to the tasty, cold and soft strategy and it was working on her but that was when she had to keep on with Electrobolt's chat "Oh dont be silly of course I dont mind" she said with a lean of her head that make her look kind of cute "our parents they were farmers, fruit farmers to be precise, we had some land on the south end of the realm we used to produce different kinds tasty crops" the suddenly the eyes of the mare reflected a little melancholy to contrast her smile, "They taught us all we know, being a good farmer but more important a good pony, you see Mom and Dad accepted Colt and me in their family, they always make us feel as if we were their own...now they watch over us, they care for us from the sky and the stars of Luna, it has been hard ever since they were gone but I have Colt and he has me so life goes on" a slight sigh and a quick double blink in her eyes made the Emi clean her magenta eyes from almost all the sadness in her eyes "Or at least I hope I still have him ..." she said recalling the concerns about her dragon brother.

"Yes the more the merrier, just hope you girls don't get bored after all this is just me an Luna playing " Emi said with a little giggle and kept on "Well I think we can take in some song requests to play" the rose eyed pegasus said with a smile that seamed to made a funny sound. She was now out of the house watching the gorgeous night the princess of the moon had crafted for that day. As always while looking to the silver star she shared some thoughts with her.

"Yup looks like its just you and me to perform Luna and I have all I need right here" Emi said shaking a little her body to show her guitar and saddlebags "And the sky is clear with lots of stars..." the white mare said while looking out the window walking to the door. "Looks like the princess will be our audience tonight" Emi said when the full bright moon was found by her eyes. "A Luna playing for a Luna, sounds like a great way have a fun night right? " she said opening the door wating for her ensemble partner.

"I dont think the park is a fancy place we are just going to relax a bit maybe have some diner so don't worry, im also on the lazy side tonight and don't want to go fancy either " Emi told the blue eyed mare she had quite lovely eyes, "We just wait for Luna I hope she is ready to go, sun just went down but I want to enjoy the night to the fullest" @@LunaFlower226,

"Well not while we gait but if you want to hang out with us in the part then for sure we can play something for you" the mare said while waiting for @@LunaFlower226, @, "What about you Arrow want to hang out with us, it maybe a little boring to listen to a couple of fillies playing some tunes but hey its better than staying alone here right? " Emi knew how sometimes being different was hard, in a world and country filled regular stuff and she had all the intentions help this mare to feel just like anypony else... well if that was possible.

"I always wonder how she got that piano into her room" Emi said with some flavor of irony in her words and leaving her doubt out there in the air "Any way the im starting to feel like going out but forget about me getting some fancy dress or anything like that, All that is back at my home on Canterlot" the mare completed her statement with a white lie given that she had some nice pieces on her room but right now she was too lazy to change into something fancy. "Thats not a bad idea Luna, its not a bad Idea at all, I can tune this lady over there and have some ensemble to test it. Does that works for you " the violet maned pony said to the golden eyed one closing the case of her new guitar and just a second after she kept on "Also sorry for this Luna but I will not bring my flute this time, I know you like to have a duet like the last time but I cant wait to strum this cords" Saying so Emi trotted up stairs to her room, as usual her door was unlock, quickly she looked under her bed and took out a little battery amplifier she bought for a moment like this, going back down she got the little speaker on her saddlebag and took the guitar case srap around her chest. "Lets go Luna just waiting for you"

"Hi there Luna glad to see you were girding I would love to have a gig soon with you" Emi said to her fellow musician, she has been having this idea in her mind, sadly rock was kind of unpopular by this time at Appleoosa and not many ponies were up to climb with her on the stage, and last time she performed all alone well... things got weird the croup wasn't able to get the "concept" behind her show "The girls say they want to hang out, do you want to go with them, there is no real plan still so maybe you have a good idea to have fun out there"
