Yeah living in relationship with impression of the girl that isn't just her, is wrong, but it has really nothing to do with the issue of crushes in ponies, does it? I mean everyone can misinterpret their partner's true nature, and it has nothing to do with it. The truth will finally reveal itself and the cover of illusion will disappear. There are people that will easily get over the flaws of their partners, but there are also perfectionists that will strive to get a almost perfect partner... And also there is difference in interpretation what is a flaw and what isn't, but as for many cases, it's pretty settled. Uhm and also... lets say that guy is in love with the part of woman that represents Fluttershy, and pretty much only that part, skipping in recognizing other parts. If woman won't get what she want from that guy, due to the fact that he's misled, she'll dump him and everything will be well again cause if guy wants Fluttershy then this woman wasn't really for him, was she? Huh many people explain why some of us may be attracted to ponies by comparing them to humans. I wonder how would you explain human attraction to humans, or attraction to something else without comparing it to humans.

So here we go! 1) Character from the show maybe have many less flaws than actual humans but also have better ability of self-improvement. You're saying that we shouldn't expect from ourselves and other anything what is a complete bullshit, and it's that what is wrong with humans. " Leave me alone cause I'm the way I am and I'm to lazy to improve" - if people really don't want to improve you can't make them but it's the wrong approach from the beginning. See? Character from the show have better personalities and less flaws at the start and yet they strive for self-improvement... they're better than humans at every step. 2) At first I wouldn't date person that has many flaws and don't want to change it. I would check if she/he has flaws that would bug me and if she/he can get rid of them. ( Basic reason why I'm not looking for relationship, or believe that I will have one) 3) If everybody would make the best they can in their self-improvement a lot of humanity's problems would disappear. You really think so or was it a typo? You mean like don't get into relationship while having crush on imaginary persona, cause you could hurt the real person right?

Sure it's ok! Many other threads pretty much about the same so you can read more in them. I don't really know if you're talking about psychical or physical attraction, but anyway both are ok. for example "Are ponies sexy" thread ... more about physical side.. but many many more you can also read. Oh man to give my full insight about it I would have to repeat everything what I've said in other topic and it would take 2.5-4 char I suppose. Yes it's ok they make you happy, apparently even more than humans so it has to mean something. It's very common and you're not alone so don't worry about that. If that's good for you keep that and cherish if it's not get rid of it

Yeah I must say that FiM has taught me quite much. I must also say that many lessons from MLP people already know but still don't benefit from that or enable them in their lives... kinda sad. If everyone would follow the show we would have as happy and well prospering community as ponies. There wouldn't be any haters politicians and other EVIL stuff 1) It gave me some more clues how to be happy and is inspiring a smile on my face everyday 2) It taught me how to be kind, polite and selfless ( more than I was) 3) It taught me that friendship is more wonderful, powerful and needed than I thought. 4) It taught me that there is still something as wonderful, powerful and pure as love, and I'm sure of it's existence. I haven't seen it yet in our world. (Before that I hated love cause I knew it only from my own experience and soap operas and everyday life - and it isn't the true love ) 5) It directed me to people that are all exceptions. I didn't like humanity and now I started to see many wonderful exceptions. Still the whole of human kind is just awful. 6) It gave me more faith for the better tomorrow and basically the motivation to make one for myself and other good people. I've seen in pony community what we could've been if we would take the right path. Bronies are the good start to repair the society. EDIT: 7) Way more open-minded and tolerating

Yeah but from the other side... It can't be all psychical attraction... I mean there are people that are more physically attracted or psychically attracted in case of ponies as well as in case of humans, so I wouldn't generalize here... People tend to perceive this as something completely different than attraction to humans... in my opinion it isn't. Even the attraction to actual horses is explainable. I mean you can be rapist regardless what you're attracted to... I mean there's zoophilia and zoophilia...

Now I'm quoting you! Yeah if I would need to I would quote you. It wasn't directed to you, it was more of a general statement. Wasn't quoting you cause there was no point... you can say basicly everything that you want, and that's your opinion, and I don't want get to any pointless discussion. Uhm I don't know about that. I don't perceive it as something perverted or as a fetish, cause it has major differences with those. I get a tiny bit offended when I hear that...

It's not weird, it's more normal than to be attracted to humans as for now imo. But it sure may cause a lot of trouble in the world that we're living in. We're on the more or less exactly same boat. Unfortunately it has it's sweet as well as bitter side ( as for the crush itself ) :/ Although being physically attracted may be a bit weird. I mean if we're suppose to be attracted to humans, then what's more humanlike than human... Nevertheless this aspect also applies to me.

1) As I stated previously, most of the time there's no obvious reason why are you attracted to this or that. It doesn't need to be understood but it needs to be tolerated and accepted. 2) I consider this pretty normal since MLP characters are sapient, I don't really consider this a fetish, since fetishes are about some circumstances, defects, or activities during *you know what*. Ponies are mostly like any man or woman on the earth, therefore I don't even consider this a fetish, more like another sexual orientation ( as weird as it may sound to some people). 3) Shoving porn stuff and generally stuff in people faces is bad. But people attracted to men or woman are doing it more often then actual cloppers. We see half naked people almost at every step that we take in our society... it's quite disgusting.... no one has any decency left. And I being told that I should be turned on by that, instead of disgusted. Gay people can be also irritated when they are see "almost porn" of the different sex at every step. You know what I mean. 4) I don't want to know anything x related you did, so why are we talking just about clopper in that criteria ? I don't want to hear about that you f****d your wife last night and I don't want to know you fapped to Paris Hilton last night or that you clopped last night. Neither of that. So why always people talk in that way just about clopping?! 5) About clopping itself... It can be consider as taking your feeling to another step. As lucky as some might be and find true love among the existing, for some people clopping is as far as they can get close to pony they love. EDIT: Oh one more thing. Comparing human porn to pony porn.... pony porn is much more tasteful, they still keep their dignity. TBH I feel more ashamed that I watched human porn than that I watched pony porn. You could really say that I'm proud that I watched pony porn Whatever .. strange feeling but it's complete truth. In my opinion ponies are now more civilized than humans. Well it's something a bit different than sexiness... though one to explain. Well I never treated anyone to whom I was attracted objectively, whether was it pony or human. It's just a case of being an asshole in my opinion. And yes even ponies from the show as they are, can appeal to me, as woman that isn't naked in the bus appeal to you, without making any faces or anything.... It's a burden to carry but I think you'll be able to handle it. You may have some trouble for that, but remember that it's sure worth it, and you're right not bullies 2) Ehm that what people tell you about sexuality here, isn't all true and it sure can change for many reasons. But watching MLP doesn't usually make people gay, if they weren't before. Ask yourself, if you like men "that" way, and you'll know 3) Yeah sure! Uhm I don't have very rich political side... I think that politics should be erased. If the people would be smart enough and loving enough towards each other there wouldn't be any need for politics or politicians. My favourite is RD. I don't really know what her political view would be but I assume that she wouldn't be very into politics as well as I.
