Um, is it possible if we do the occ stuff in the ooc thread? It's like you've just made another ooc thread in the roleplay section. 
I already have an alliance with Marina, and I'm currently in the middle of getting one with another country/world power. This rp was kinda already in the middle of planning before the take over happened.

How do you want it? I was think we talk RP in the "Congress" in the RP such as making alliances. At the same time we have political actions in the RP was well.

I think Congress would be cool, with a world war on the way. But we really need a conflict in order for war to start, there will always be unrest. But like Hitler wanted all the countries, and everyone else didn't want that. I already have an alliance with one country, and I was in the middle of one here before this thread kinda died. 
Maybe trade could happen in Congress, with our nation's leaders/representatives there making the trades. But it shouldn't be in sessions between just some countries, because then some will be left out. That would cause some major tension, in both rps and us players.

First I want to apologise for my absence, I haven't been on the forums for nearly 48 hours and for that I'm sorry.

 

Secondly I want to say how proud I am of you guys, even though I was gone you guys were willing to take charge and keep this rp alive, congrats guys.

Nations should really be careful about entering a war. Wars cost a large amount of money; if you don't take care of your nation very well, your infrastructure and economy could possibly topple and others might call you out on a debt.

 

That's what happened to the German Reich in WWI. It can very possibly happen to most of you.

Actually wars are the very thing that make infrastructure and economy run. That is as long as you are not not on the loosing side.

 

Take a look at the USA. The very moment they were without a war between WW1 and WW2 they had a crisis. And after WW2 they kept having threat from USSR and others up until now, and everything ran fine.

That's true, but imagine what the rest of the world was like after WWI, heck, even WWII. Only the United States and Japan benefitted from WWI, while most of Europe was in ruins, Germany had to pay a massive debt, and Russia had a revolution.

 

Same goes with WWII; the US benefited from it, though everyone else did not. Again, Europe was in ruins, the USSR took over Eastern Europe later on, Germany was divided, Japan got nuked, and China continued its civil war.

 

It's a rare exception to see a country do better during a war
