Note from a Local Brony

This actually happened back in December but I thought it'd be fun to share on here (maybe the person that did this is even on these forums!?) I was in the grocery store one day and when I came out I found this stuck to the car...



Someone must have seen all our vegan and pony bumper stickers. It really made my day and it's awesome to know I'm not the only brony in my town. I've kept that little note ever since!

Has anyone else ever received a random brony message like this?

when I still attended school I was sitting in the computer lab working on a an animation project a kid came and sat next to me first asked me about the animation it's a bouncing ball but I still explained. later I saw him playing brony games. Kinda the same thing I guess? after I noticed him many throughout the years of highschool I noticed more that I never noticed before.

Dude, that's so awesome.  I hope I get the opportunity to meet some local bronies irl.  I was just doing some trading in Warframe, and I saw a player named Fluttershy.  I sent him a pm that said "I noticed your name while scrolling the trading tab, and I just had to give you a BROHOOF!"  He replied with a .  That's just the internet, though, not reality, so it doesn't really compare.  But it was still fun.  Nice to have a little moment of cammeraderie when you can.

I do that all the time in Call of Duty and it's nice when it happens. Recently I was in a lobby with a couple people I started playing with earlier that day and we were just talking and I put on my Pinkie Pie emblem and then they asked me if I was a brony, I said yes and they replied that they both were too it was very unexpected.

I have never had another brony acknowledge me but I have noticed that the blind bags in MLP sections at stores are almost always gone and the card packs are being bought as well so I hope to find them soon  When I do I will be like "I FOUND YOU FINALLY! Now I can know a local brony!"

It would be cool to meet a brony irl but I might actually have a true chance because at our garage sale on Saturday we're selling MLP stuff there always could be a brony that shows up but yeah the note thing would actually be cool. I've only ever been acknolwedged by one what I assume is a local brony/pegasister and it was just so unexpected. Was just there, preparing a drink at a coffee shop when all the sudden out of my right ear I hear a woman say to me, "Pinkie Pie is best pony." Because I had a pin on the side of my bag which was of course Pinkie Pie.

 

If I remember correctly I was starting to wear little bits of pony stuff back then, such as a pin on my bag. Not enough to draw attention I had hoped, but enough to be there. Though I was still all kinds of new to everything so all I remember doing was looking at her with an awkward smile and nodded silently. Some days I feel like I was rude to her. Then again, that's just me.

 

 

As far as notes, I had recently purchased a 2013 SDCC Vinyl Scratch figurine from someone online and unexpectedly saw this drawn on the back of the package. While not from a local brony, this was nice to see. Especially since it helped cheer me up the day I got it.

 

 

 

 

Additionally the item was also wrapped in a pony t-shirt that coincidently fits me. How randomly awesome is that?!

unfortunately he turned out to be crazy, fell in love with me and stalked me, to the point that I had to tell him to stop, and that same day he quit.   I love my bronies but sometimes they aren't quite all there.

Very cool!! I'm not sure how I'd react if a brony actually spoke to me in person. I'm extremely shy and paranoid so I'd probably say something stupid! A pony t-shirt is still something I'm lacking...someday!

I would love a moment like that. I need to be more outgoing with things like that, though. What I need to do is get like...a pin or something. I've learned that people don't always recognize cutie marks, or certain objects or creatures that are associated with characters. If I get something of the sorts I could possibly have this opportunity without it being something that the everyday public would get on my back for.

 

Anyway, hopefully I'll find a local brony. They're out there. I do know that. I had a very short exchange of words with a brony at Comicon once. That was an amazing moment. Now if I could just find a local one, that would be great!
