Views on the Solar Empire vs. New Lunar Republic

I wanna how everypony here feels about this, what side they would take, and also how and what they would do to resolve this conflict for their side, or for no side at all. Just for peace.

It is a funny little thing that created some pretty neat looking patches. I bought both of them, and wear them on various coats and stuff.

For me there are two choices:

 

Either there is no Solar Empire and Lunar Republic, only a United Equestria where the sisters rule together with a bond that will not be broken again...

 

Or if there is a Solar Empire and Luna Republic, creating division and death, and I say "buck that". I'm joining the Guardians of Harmony and ending this stupid war while reuniting the royal sisters. If the Guardians must they will stand against both Celestia and Luna, as if they threaten the harmony of the land it means they have become enemies of Equestria.

Well, I'm extremely devoted to the Solar Empire, and having Celestia rule.

Well most often this idea takes the form of the Lunar Republic rebelling against the 'tyranny' of Princess Celestia and showing support to Princess Luna, while the Solar Empire are those who stay loyal to Princess Celestia and fight against those who would trying removing her from the throne.

 

Fandomwise it can also be 'nothing more' then the means for Princess Celestia and Princess Luna fans to show their support to their favorite princess.

 

 

Myself, I refuse to pick a side and if I can I pick a third option (how I came to create the Guardians of Harmony). Yet if I must pick I side I go with the Solar Empire though Princess Luna is my favorite.

Bah, I'll just foster an alliance between the Changelings & Sombra, have them attack the Crystal Empire with the sisters busy with each other, and take said empire as their base for their invasion plans.

 

Essentially, The Crystal Empire becomes the Isengard of Equestria.

I choose to support whatever organizations exist as Official Government Opposition in whatever capacities these exist Assuming the Republic and the Empire have such governmental structures.

Well since Equestria a Diarchy*, at least it is supposed to be, with a Monarchy or Constitutional Monarchy 'base'... the term 'Empire' is is of incorrect useage.

 

There is no Empire and honestly, is she even wanted to rebel, Princess Luna would be hard pressed to find support as ponies have had Princess Celestia as their ruler for a 1000 years.

*A goverment with two equal rulers that share the power and responsabilities.

 

 

I will say I feel Equestria could have a House of Lords and House of Commons who from a council of sorts that could take care of most of the day to day governmental business and discussions.

I like the whole idea of Luna actually logically thinking about separating from her sister (and not trying to kill her or something and getting banished to the moon) by starting a revolution.

Solar Empire for the win! I could never side with the New Lunar Republic, I mean, the Solar Empire has bananas, a cannon that shoots people to the moon, and it would more than likely have Twilight Sparkle since she's a Celestia fangirl. So yeah, the Solar Empire is the one for me.
