Madame watched Indicus go with venom in her eyes "Girls, make sure he gets treated extra-specially."

Tulla chucked a pillow at Dresden "Hush up!"

Whisper smiled sweetly at them, her cheeks a bit reddened from whatever they were giving her to drink "Thank you, this is all so wonderful. You must be delighted Robert."

"Thats an understatement..." Tulla mumbled under her breath.

Watching thee stars and sky was one of the few things I did that could be called a decent pass time. I had a feeling that my ingnoring the girls was going to bite me in the ass, but that was for later right now I was spending time to actually relax a little without some chemical or magic.

Robert smiled at Whisper dreamily. "It's all so amazing.I swear, this place is heaven. And you three are easily beautiful enough to pass for angels." He meant it, too. He'd never in his life enjoyed himself more, and his was a life filled with a great many pleasures.

"I agree. I think Robert and Dresden are having too much fun gawking at us to be a little more than delighted. Besides, if Adrass were here, he'd probably shout about the different scents an hwady atmospere being the product of Witches." Helena said casually to stave off the awkwardness she was feeling. She threw a spare pillow at Robert when he commented about them being angels. "I'm sure that's an over exaggeration." Helena muttered turning her head to the side slightly and blushed feircely.

Clarke blushed somewhat when he entered the room, the girls were certainly beautiful but it was the fact that he was closer to these women than he had allowed himself in all other interactions; that made him nervous and put a strange feeling in his belly. Still he was glad to find Whisp, he wanted to give her what he had been working on for her but was certainly too embarrassed to give it to her now in front of all the others when the mood was like this, certainly it would be misinterpreted.

Instead he fiddled with the deck of cards he had brought up and made room for the servers to carry in the generous amounts of drinks he had insisted be brought with them. He decided to change the subject away from the beauty of these women he had begun to grow close to, "So anyone up for some games and indulgence? I have learned a great deal in my time spent with less respectable company, though I must admit they know how to enjoy situations like this to the fullest."

I entered a bedroom it was nice without being fancy, I decided to use it and saw a desk in front of a window. I sat at it and got out a dagger and randomly examining it. I knew I was harsh with the girls admiring me but I really needed time alone, deciding I wanted some air I opened the window and climbed out it leaving a note saying "on the roof."

I did not need them worrying about me like some of them at times tend to. On the roof I enjoyed the gentle breeze, blowing on me, I even put down my hood and took off the cowl, my long shaggy brown hair blowing in the wind, I enjoyed the feeling it was only when I was alone I would do this, that I could afford to do this.

I just looked up at the stars and laid down.

The young man stared in shock after Indicus, he couldn't believe that the man had just walked away from him without saying a word. So he followed him... And this man seemed to committed to breaking the rules. Apparently he had no idea how an inn worked thinking he could just pick any room he wished and to anywhere he wanted, such as the roof. The flipped himself up onto the roof without effort at all, again his movement seemed be otherworldly graceful, "You know big guy I can understand playing hard to get, it's attractive really, BUT I am hotel staff. When I offer to take you to your room you don't walk of and pick your own damn room! And the roof is most certainly off limits to guests! Especially in heavy clanking armor, you'll damage it or easily tumble your heavy ass off it!" He stamped his foot lightly for emphasis but it barely made a thud.

Serafinno had snuck into several rooms already and had seen things he was certain he wasn't supposed to see humans doing, though they were always too busy to notice him... except for one room where the pair of humans had tried to coax him on to the bed as well, he had darted out of there as quick as he could. By now he had never been more embarrassed, flustered and confused; so it was to his greatest relief to see the males of the party all traveling to together and he instantly followed them. This new strategy was much better than random searching as they lead directly to Whisper, he let out a joyful squeal and pushed through all the men's legs to leap up and lick at her face. He'd never actually been this relieved for any reason before, the inn's staff he liked but all the other humans here gave him weird vibes that were far too much for his understanding.

"Finn!" Whisper giggled happily, trying to push his head away. Moments before she had been watching Clarke and wondering why he seemed nervous to even look at her. But she gladly took a drink off one of the trays delivered. "What game is it?" She asked Clarke.

Tulla playfully nudged Helena with her foot, noticing her blush at the bards comment.

Robert shook his head. "No, I assure you I mean it. I may be... moderately drunk, but I know what I'm talking about." He reached over and cupped her chin in his hand. "You, miss, are an exquisite beauty. That goes for all three of you. It only took a little cleaning up to help your radiance shine through."

That left Clarke beaming and became more comfortable because he got to do what put him at ease, explain things, "Well there are betting games such as Poker or Dragons Race; the random rule card games of Ka'taan's cup or circle of death; there's thumper to make a fool of ourselves; and the skill games involving bouncing Penance into cups." He put the cards down on the table and pulled up a chair, "whichever you wish to try Miss Whisp I'd be happy to play." He took a rather long pull from his tankard of ale; he'd never played with people he considered friends before this, would be fun.

************

Serafinno sniffed at a glass and gave it an experimental lick, the bitter taste had him instantly withdrawing and trying to lick Whisper's face again, though this time mostly to get the horrible taste of the drink off his tongue.

If it was possible, Helena's blush deepened further. "Moderately drunk about sums it up. In regards to me, I'm not sure if you do know what you're talking about because I just don't like being complimented." Helena told him, moving her head out his grasp gently by raising it up. She grabbed one of the drink that Clarke seemed to supply for the group and took a sip. It was bitter but she shrugged and took another sip, not really caring about the taste.

Helena breathed in relief and remembered Clarke mentioning a few types of games. "You said Thumper? Never heard of it. What's it like?" Helena asked, thankful that Robert's attention was somewhere else. He was beginning to make her feel more awkward than she already does. She's never really played any of these games except for Poker but that was a one-time thing at the local thieves hideout. After losing a bunch of her hard-earned loot, she vowed to never go back and to never play Poker again. This Thumper game was new though.

Finn gave a huff of smoke and rubbed his head against Dresden's hand to show that he absolutely agreed and was happy someone felt the same as he did, even if this was his first time ever trying such a liquid.

Clarke nodded at Robbert, "considering the lack of fund for most of the party wealth wouldn't be a wise choice to gamble, Dragons race is specifically made to bet a number of sips from your drink, you win you give them to others, you lose you drink as much as you bet plus any that others give to you; additional games such as poker can be played substituting drinks from your cup or articles of clothing." Too engrossed in his own through explanation he didn't think about the implications of betting the latter.

Turning to Helena, "Thumper involves making gestures or motions at one another, the actions string together with the one performing adding another of their own to the end before passing it on; failure to preform correctly means you drink. It tends to become quite silly. Sometimes it is merely called Mimic and spoken phrases can be added as well."

Robert's face twisted in confusion. "Wait, I'm not sure I follow. You're saying if we lose we get to drink? Does that mean we don't get to drink if we win? If that's the case then I think I'd rather be a loser." He grinned. "Unless we're going to play strip poker. Now there's an incentive."

Helena nodded at Clarke's explanation of each game. "Thumper sounds like a good one to play when we're all drunk. Seems like an entertaining game actually." Helena said, taking another sip and putting the front down on the table in front of her. Helena bowed her head and shook it slightly at the bard's words. "You got a dirty mind."

He grinned. "Oh? Whatever do you mean?" He shook his head. "I'm going to take a wild guess that's out, then. I'll play Thumper if that's what everybody else wants to do. But no promises I won't start losing on purpose." As if to demonstrate his point, he took a hearty swig from his ale.

Clarke chuckled, "if you're good Robert you drink at a normal pace in addition to the games. The incentive of the games should be the fun we have playing, correct?" Only now did he realize what strip poker could result in, his eyes involuntarily flickered over Whisper and his mind went to the thought of a Princess losing her clothes, the embarrassment that would be to a noble and the outrage it would invoke from a King and Queen; not to mention the shameful possibility he could lose as well. No, it was best to steer away from that game.

Speaking still to Robert, "it would hardly be fitting in your masterpiece song to strip beautiful women of their clothes in such an uncouth way, bard. But then perhaps this whole night should be excluded." He chuckled again, "And it sounds like thumper is the game of choice."

"I've played Thumper before, with my dad. But he never let me drink" Whisper drank another small cup, it was so sweet.

"What's the fun stripping? It just be a room full of naked men" Tulla smirked while sitting down "You've seen us nude anyway"

He shrugged. "Clearly the music you listen to isn't very exciting. But I'll not push it. And for the record, even if I have seen you naked before, I wouldn't mind a second time. Besides, you, at least, were in a rather unflattering situation at the time, being half-dead. And I was too busy to get a good look anyway. But fine, Thumper. That seems to be the popular choice."

"Everyone seems to have chosen. What about you Dresden? What's your pick?" Helena asked, wanting his opinion. She was glad that they were playing Thumper though and this is the first time she's played this sort of game anyway. I listened to the man and was between sighing or chuckling. I think he thought not wanting to deal with the girls ment hard to get, and that leather and enchanted steel was heavy.

But what would he know, I decided to put my hood up and cowl on and entered the room trough the window, "Well then lead the way or kick me out but please don't waste my time."

"Thumper is a childrens game!" Tulla complained.

Whisper played with some of her cards nervously. She had never seen a naked man before, even worse so for someone she was traveling with. "Why don't we play Secrets? The loser has to tell something about themselves that no one knows. It doesn't have to be big. And its easy to play?" Whisper suggested.
