Clarke's response was to glare at Madame, he didn't truly mean to but he was rather drunk and had wanted no one to see or hear what he was giving and saying to Whisper.  His tone was sharp and contradicted the word he said,  "That would be lovely Madame, but PLEASE a moment so that I might speak with her uninterupted."

He ran a comforting hand over Whisper's back and moved in close to sheild the area between them with their bodies, "It will pass Miss Whisp, you probably had just a bit too much.  I can't imagine you've had all too much before this.  But I need you to focus on me and what I'm saying."  He shifted even closer so he wouldn't be heard, and ran a hand over Finn's head to stop the beastie's growling, he was too focused on Whisper to even think that the young dragon might bite him and luckly Serafinno decided against it.  He showed her what he had been hidding, it was a metal brooch just the right size for her palm, a blossoming rose of brillant polished copper, with a stem and vines of green oxidized copper and a single dull copper thorn.  His voice was a Whisper both because of his embrassement and the need for no one to overhear, "I made this for you Miss Whisp, and I need you to pay attention.  It's no ordinary brooch, if anyone should threaten you-" he took her hand and fold it around the stem of the flower so her index finger rested on the thorn like it was a trigger, "-point that flower toward their face and pull the thorn back; it will spray a mist of water, the water is imbued to mimic fire magick and will burn like fire..."  He hesitated to tell her the rest, "... if that doesn't work and they are someone bad do the same thing but prick your finger on the thorn and push it in; that will stop them for good."

He slipped her hand back off the brooch and rested it on the table; he moved back from her standing and speaking loud enough for others to hear, "it's a good luck charm, wear it at all times and it'll keep you safe.  I promise."  He gave her a small smile, to hell with the others hearing and how embrassed he was.  If everyone thought it was just some silly gift and charm from a man then they wouldn't pay it any mind and it would protect her; that was worth the burning reddness of his face and the twisting in his gut.  He let the girl take his arm to lead him to his room.

(So I did a quick little thing in paint to just give an idea of what Clarke's invention looks like, sorry it is rather crummy looking it was paint and a bit rushed so I did what I could haha)

(It is basically a disguised squirt gun full of pepper spray :P and has the ability to fire once as a gun.  Clarke names all his Masterpeices in the Old language of Knowledge, this one is "Temero Spina" you guys can figure out what it means ;) )

The rooms were lavish like the rwst, each with thier own private washroom. The beds were large and covered in pillows of every size.

The girls led them to thier rooms "You're so sweet" the one guiding Clarke began "She was lucky to have you". The girl left him at the door, giving him a quick kiss on his cheek before walking away.

The walk to her room was dizzying, the girl gwntly guiding her down the hallway. The princess could only focus on the brooch in her palms, running a thumb carefully along its surface. It was strangely beautiful and wonderful since he had taken his time to make this for her. Whisper held it to her chest as she entered her room thinking about how Clarke wanted her safe.

They all did, that was for sure wen but with him...well he showed it differently. "I wanted to say thank you..." she said to no one. In her daze, she had forgotten Finn.

@@RunsWithSquirlz,

"Thank you for showing me to my room." Dresden said to the girl as he entered his room, "Ohhhh, nice really nice although the beds a little big for me." Dresden said to himself as he jumped into the bed and kicked his boots off. "Ah, i'm going to miss this place, at least I'll get a good rest before the forest." Dresden looked upped at the ceiling and thought back at the events, 'seems the little tinkerer has a crush on Whisp heheh he's a little to old but hey it's the thought that counts.' Dresden scratched his chin in thought; now that he thought about it there was romance blooming among his group and it seemed Helena and Robert may end up together. Dresden shrugged and turned on his side, 'Ah, whatever it's nice to see people fall in love.'

"I guess I couldn't ask for better outside the chambers designed for Royalty," the atmosphere wasn't quite what he preferred but nice nonetheless, true to his mystical nature Zaddion preferred the arcana and almost natural designs that he was used to such a long time ago. He wasn't planning on staying up much longer but still had the strength to attend to the basic things. Removing most of his robes and laying them out carefully, the Mage placed his two Tomes under the pillows before climbing into the bed himself. This place was far more relaxing than the inn they had been in previously and certainly more comfortable than the wilderness. After running his hands over the crystalline structures embedded into his skin and reflecting on what awaited them ahead, he lowered his head down onto the pillows and tried to drift off into sleep.

"Q'sal, a singular, labyrinthine mind composed of a billion conflicting, paradoxical wills. Have you ever seen the swirling Aetherstorms in it's atmosphere? Smelled the shifting perfumes of intrigue upon it's people? Tasted the gluttonous banquets of ambition permeating from the Sorcerer-Technocrats? Heard the exquisite lies and thoughts of an unknowable population? No Slaaneshi pleasure I have indulged in comes close to that feeling, only in the embrace of Apotheosis could one aspire to find anything greater."

Clarke was left standing at the door, he opened it stepped inside and closed it behind him... then collapsed back against it staring at the empty room he put his head in his hands in slid down against it.  His mind was whirling with what was going to happen to Whisper and all these other new friends in Coppershine, he spoke to himself, "No, no she's not lucky at all..."

His hazy mind grasped on to one other thing the girl helping him had said, "did she say 'was'?"  then he dismissed it crawling across the floor and up on to the bed collapsing into the bed, it had been a hell of a night and the morning would be worse...  Everyday would be worse until he was walking away from Coppershine without this group, he cursed them for coming into his life and turning everything upsidedown.  He wondered if things would ever be the same for him again as he drifted off to sleep.

Serafinno continued to sleep at the base of the chair Whisper had been sitting in.

I was still on the roof when I heard everyone finally go to bed and decided to head back in myself, I put the cowl and hood back on and quietly jumped off the roof, making my way back to the front door, when I arrived at the door I opened it and entered waiting for whoever would show me to my room to do so

@@Dji,

Carrying Helena in his arms, Robert made it to their room with only a minimal amount of stumbling. He gently laid her down on the bed before crawling in on the other side himself. Out of a sort of respect, he tried to stay as far on his side of the bed as he could. Really, he was just wondering at this point whether her reaction would be more on the side of amusing, or frightening when she woke up next to him.

@@Shadow Dancer,

Lance, the male staff member that had been pursuing Indicus, had finally given up when Indicus had earlier left the roof to join the others in the group, he was now lounging in the main room of the Inn where things had drastically slowed down with most of the patrons of the inn heading for their rooms and most of the staff helping them to their rooms.  Seeing the armored man re-enter through the front door confused him but frankly he 'no longer gave a fuck' about the strange man that seemed to be either celibate or chaste or asexual.  None of the female staff had had any luck with him and neither had he, none of the vices seemed to effect Indicus and as far as Lance could tell he had absolutely no desires or motivations of his own.  This man was a universal bore and did not belong here at the Heart's Desire Inn; Lance could not wait to join the girls in removing this stick in the mud.  But for now he just ignored him, it wasn't like Indicus would listen to anything he had to say anyways.

I saw the staff member promptly ignoring me, I could not blame him or anyone else people like me had no place in many places this was one of them, as for anything I desired out of life, it was simple continue what I do already, being a wolf among so many sheep, once I was released my target was dead end of story. I was a weapon that the Assassins guild wielded it was simple and without complication, as it should be. I made the decision  to find my own room or sleep elsewhere. I ended up finding myself a empty room and sat down closing the door.

"Another day that the world reminds me that i am much more at home assassinating or hunting down a target, then playing bodyguard for a damn princess." I growl under my breath.

The sleep came fast and it rolled over their minds like a fog. It was a dense, curtaining feeling that numbed their bodies and all sense of reality.

*Dresden found himself walking on a clear, sunny day. He was in the marketplace of his birth village. In his hands, he held bags of groceries. Instead of the rags he was accustomed to growing up in; he wore fresh linen and leather. He had a sense to go home. Someone was waiting for him.*

*Robert woke up in a bed of his own. The sun streaming in through the windows. A lute laid against the pane; made of glossed Cherryoak and Mu strings. Expensive stuff. The smell of bacon wafted from downstairs.*

*Tulla found herself walking briskly down a long stone hallway. She thought she might be back in the castle, but there was something different, she couldn't see the house colors or banners anywhere. The familiar green and silver had been replaced by blue and gray; a house she couldn't recall. Her shoulders were heavy and looking down at herself she saw she was not wearing her normal clothes. Tulla threw open a door, marching into the nearest room to find a mirror.*

*Zaddion found himself studying in the libraries of the Mages Tower. He wore the robes of a Maester, a teacher to the younger conscripted to learn. It was one of the highest positions and hardest to earn besides the Grand Maester Mage. The tables were filled with young boys and some girls, heads buried in books and quills scribbling away.*

*Clarke held the largest room in what as The Order of the Gear. He was scribbling away at the desk, blueprints for various designs strewn about. It must have been foggy outside; the windows were obscured by what looked like fog. He felt an unfamiliar thrumming underneath his feet. There was a small knock on his door.*

*Helena was taking a warm bath. The place was unfamiliar but better than anywhere else she had been. A short soft robe hung on the door. The only piece of clothing in the room.*

*Whisper sat on a bench in her garden. A marble mermaid fountain quietly trinkled in front of her. It was a hot day and in the distance; amongst the hedges, she could hear the screaming laughter of children. The princess stood slowly; feeling much heavier than usual. She had the need to go check on these children; investigate who they were.*

(I'm assuming Indicus is going to sleep.)

*He was walking down a familiar path. His old home before he had been accepted into the Assassins. Nothing changed, everything was the same. But smoke rose from his chimney, and he could see from the distance that the fireplace was lit inside. Someone else lived in his house.*

*Helena looked around the bathroom and found a short robe hanging on the door as the only piece of clothing. She finished washing up, slowly got out of the bath, being careful not to slip, and quickly walked over to the robe. Putting it on, Helena found that it only stopped at about mid-thigh but she took what she could get. Cinching it around her waist, Helena found the robe to be soft and it felt smooth against her skin. 'Where am I?' Helena thought in confusion and opened the door to have a look around.*

@@RunsWithSquirlz, I knocked on the door wondering who was in the house now, I recognized the area even seeing the large tree in the distance that I would climb, I remembered climbing to the top once on the still thick but not quite as much as the lower branches. I remembered my family from before I became an Assassin and before I killed the band of brigands, and I smiled.

Robert slowly rose from bed and reached over, grabbing the lute. He played a few notes, enjoying the feel and the subtle difference in sound that marked a quality instrument. It felt... right. Eventually he set it down and headed downstairs. Apparently there was food to be had. It didn't really occur to him that he had no idea who it was that might be cooking it, or even where he was, for that matter. Experience waking up after nights of revelry had taught him that those answers would come in time. No sense worrying about it too much.

Clarke paused staring at the designs in front of him, taking them in; they were wondrous things far beyond his knowledge, thing he had only dreamed of but the notes and schematic's all made sense they were correct. Of course they were correct he had designed them and he understood how all the notes made the machines work... at least his sleeping mind told him it did. He had no way of knowing it was just his brain filling in details and forcing him to see it as truth.

He looked to the door, someone had been knocking; so he rose to walk to it and cracked it open slightly to peer outside, no Tinkerer was foolish enough to invite someone in while their designs and schematics were exposed. "Who's disturbing my drafting hours?!" He questioned as he peer out of the crack in the door, Clarke had never had time devoted to designing inventions before but for some reason the question felt appropriate.

*Robert was welcomed by the sight of twins, both of which were wearing his shirts to cover themselves. One of them was cooking while the other set the table, both looked up on his entrance. "Good morning, Robert...hope we didn't wake you."*

*The bedroom that Helena peered into was empty. But as she stepped out, someone else was coming in.*

*The door swung open lazily as Indicus' knock went unheard. The house was practically empty save for empty bottles and all sorts of small blades thrown about.*

* "I'm sorry, I know I'm not supposed to bother you..." a very young boy looked up at him from the crack in the door. The face mirrored his own. "B-but...we wanted to know if y-you wanted to have lunch. W-with us, I mean..."*

'It's an empty bedroom. Must be an ensuite.' Helena thought to herself. She was glad that it was empty as it meant she could explore her surroundings in peace. @@RunsWithSquirlz, I stepped inside and looked around each room where I remembered it what caught my attention was the blades and bottles scattered around, each blade was one I knew and have used in the past mostly consisting of daggers of all types and throwing knives with the occasional kukri present. The house for all its outside appearances of being inhabited was empty, I sat on a chair and looked around seeing if anything was out of place.

Clarke stared at the boy, he was familiar looking something about him called to Clarke's memory, his mind was screaming at him that he knew this boy. His dreaming mind twisted the moment and made it make sense to him; his mind was tried he'd spent the entire morning working on his projects, he hadn't eaten breakfast or had any water, he had a bit of a headache and all that together left him somewhat disorientated. Lunch would do him good, he should go with the boy and eat lunch.

Clarke lifted up his goggles and set them on his forehead, he knuckled his fists at his tired aching eyes, "I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have snapped at you. I hadn't realized it had gotten so late in the day. Who would I be eating lunch with? Sorry my thoughts are a bit jumbled and stuck on the designs, I'm a bit slow refocusing on reality sometimes." He chuckled and rubbed his temple to help relieve the ache in his head.

*The boy gave him a small smile "With mother, Jaqueline and I. You wanted to have lunch with us before we land, remember?"*

*When the person stepped closer, Helena could see it was a familiar face. It was Robert. He came forward, hands open apologetically and with a grin "Don't tell me you're having second thoughts, are you?"*

*The bedroom door creaked open and a man strode out quietly. He stopped to gaze at Indicus from afar, obscured by the darkness of the house. He came around and sat across feom Indicus, he leaned forward and Indicus foumd himself staring into his own reflection; albeit a few years older.*

*One girl sighed "You told us you didn't want to learn our names. To save the trouble." Her sister served the food and pulled the other aside "If you'll excuse us, we need to get dressed!" They scurried up the stairs and into the bedroom.*

*Dresden now saw a small cottage; it called to him. On his way home, people greeted him warmly and wished him good day.*

* Tulla could hardly believe her reflection in the mirror. She wore a thick leather corset laced with white fur ontop of riding pants. Upon her shoulder flowed a thick cloak of direwolf skin clasped by a iron link. Tulla raised her hand to her head in awe; a thick crown made of wrought iron and embossed with crossed swords graced her head.*

The Inn had quieted down considerably. Madame held a small council in the parlor, strung around her were mirrors of every size. In each mirror, the sleeping form of a woman could be seen. She looked out over the select men in the room, the buyers "You've had the chance to look at play with them all evening. Now it's time to buy. You know the rules and please remember, virgins are more expensive. No refunds."

The men began to whisper amongst themselves and moving about to get better views of the sleeping girls. Madame moved to the side and snapped her fingers, calling for Lance "Come!"

He was getting closer and closer now, teaching the younger students had apparently taught him a few things that he hadn't noticed himself before, maybe he was just lacking the need to study seemingly unimportant areas? This was what he loved about life, the respect of a Maester as well as the freedom to challenge himself and learn new things. The children were perfectly occupied with the current tasks and he would be there if they needed him, but there was no point in wasting time going over material he'd memorized to a point.

There was so much to learn now that he had the time to explore the possibilities. There was the risky but ultimately not often explored combining of elements, the Magick of Bards... Why was he thinking about Bardic Magick? Everyone here knows that it's not worthy of too much attention. Perhaps the most interesting of all was the illusive Life and Death Magick that he'd heard of in obscure texts so long ago. Would he ever get the chance to meet a Mage of such powers? Would he...

I looked at my older reflection curious, my mind was piecing together the impossibilities but my active sleeping mind just ignored them. Looking at myself quite literally, I broke the ominous silence in the room, "Now why are you here," I figured it was a horrible question to ask myself but it was all that came to mind.
