((OOC: @Emerald- I know. Ariel was trying to call for someone that could open the cell door (i.e. a guard or scientist) even though it's pretty much useless to do so and she knows it.))

 

Ariel paused in her pounding on the door to look at Angelica. But by this point, she found it impossible to believe that it was going to be alright. She was convinced, they were going to be stuck there until one by one, they were carved up by those ponies in white, dissected one piece at a time. Anxiety was indeed a terrible thing, and she had lived with it for as long as she could remember. The 'other' issue started cropping up when she was older and her mind had started to fracture - but the anxiety had almost always been there. There were many things that triggered an anxiety attack; this sort of situation was one of them, naturally.

 

She started pacing back and forth within the cramped space, finding it harder and harder to breathe. She felt as if the already suffocating walls were closing in, crushing her. She just barely registered Naryu's voice, but she knew the she-wolf spoke the truth. They weren't going to be able to escape.

 

"No way out... no way out..." she started mumbling to herself, still pacing as well as the confined space would allow. "We're doomed... doomed, doomed... No way out... can't breathe..."

"Arial,calm down. Please. They want you to freak out, they want you to lose hope. Nayru, you were hurt by those ponies. That dosn't mean we should give up! I may be weak but I can at least try to go fly down there. I can try to spy on them. Nayru, do you remember they took you?"

"Yes I do remember...I remember them hitting me  with tranq darts...dragging me to that horrid room then..." Nayru shiverred at the thought. "Angelica don't....I don't want them doing anything harmful to you either" Nayru said as she looked at her. "They will show no mercy...I don't know about all of you but...unless they only want wolves they will torture us all..." Nayru said

Lightwing started to think.At first sight,there wasn't any way to exit.The walls were too high,the pegasis' wings are nullified,and rhe unicorns' horns were nullified too.And the walls were reinforced too,so it wouldn't be an easy task to break.

 

"I don't think so...The only way to leave,at least on my opinnion,wpuld be to force the scientist to free us.But,I don"t think that they have planned to do it"

Embers stood up and walked over to the door "Yeah, I guess. But perhaps if we worked as a team? We might have at least a chance...but then if we failed they would seperate us..." He shivverd, thinking about being in a cell all on his own was worse the being in a cell with anybuddy

Nayru sighed before hearing footsteps. She shook before hiding. "No...don't tell me they are back for me again" Nayru said before two ponies passed by her cell. Nayru come out from hiding under the bed before sighing. "Who do they want now..." Nayru asked herself

Ariel barely seemed to hear the others by this point, trapped in her own anxiety as she kept pacing back and forth - one, two steps, turn around, repeat - in the small cell. Okay, just... just try to calm down, she told herself. Just breathe... In, out... In, out...

 

Gasp, wheeze. Gasp, wheeze.. Wait... that wasn't breathing. That was hyperventilating. The young mare was already getting lightheaded, feeling as if she would pass out at any given moment. She couldn't control her breathing, couldn't control that anxiety that had so completely taken hold.

 

She finally halted her pacing as she sat down in the corner, feeling the room spin around her. She felt sick, she was miserable, she just wanted to go home -

 

Her ears flicked up when she heard the hoofsteps. The ponies in white... Fear seized her heart, but in her panic, she didn't think to hide from them. She simply froze there, like a deer in headlights, as if they may simply pass her by if she stood as still as possible (well, as still as she could be whilst trembling like a leaf).

 

Maybe they won't choose me this time... she hoped desperately.

The ponies arrived at Ariels cell. "Miss Ariel you have been chosen today to come with us" One of the ponies said as they unlocked her cell. "Come with us quietly" One of the ponies said. "Leave her alone...TAKE SOME ONE US AND LEAVE HER ALONE DAMN IT" nayru yelled but was only shot by another tranq dart. "Wolf needs to learn not to bark" One of the ponies said

Ariel's ears flattened and her eyes widened when they opened her cell door and announced that she had been chosen. For a minute, her mind shut down, and she refused to believe it. But they were still there, the ponies in white, and they were there for her. She hardly even knew how to react. She just cowered in the corner, tears beginning to well up in her eyes.

 

"N-No..." she whimpered, her voice faint. "Please... Don't... I..." She couldn't even form a complete sentence, her thoughts were so frantic and scattered. She didn't want them to take her. She knew that the ponies in white were the harbingers of suffering and torture to those labeled 'crazy' here; Naryu was all the proof she needed.

"Grab her" One of the ponies said as a pony went up to grab her. "Don't hurt her yet...she needs to be in a good condition when she get to the room" The pony said. "You can either come peacefully or we can knock you out" 

 

"Please...Ariel...r-" Nayru stopped as she soon passed out from the tranq dart.

Ariel considered the option of trying to make a break for it, if only briefly. The door was open, and if she could get past the ponies in white... But, she knew she wouldn't get very far without getting hit by a tranquilizer dart, more than likely. Escape was next to impossible, and she felt far from lucky.

 

She relented, lowering her head as her mane fell over her eyes. Tears dripped down to the floor, and her body shook with silent sobs as the defeated mare wept quietly, resigned to whatever they had in mind for her.

The ponies grabbed her and dragged her to a room that had various tools and torture devices. "Strap her in..we don't want her escaping while we are not looking" The doctor said as the ponies strapped her on the table. "Now...we can finally begin" The doctor said

Ariel was quiet for a long while as they dragged her to the room, less like a mare and more like a broken doll in their grasp. She only raised her head to look around once they started strapping her to the table, her damp eyes widening when she saw the torture devices and tools.

 

She suddenly found it hard to breathe again as she struggled against her restraints to no avail. She would beg to be let go, but she knew that too would be futile. So she stayed silent, though a fresh wave of tears sprang up, spilling quietly down the sides of her face.

The doctor smiled as he grabbed a scalpel. "Let's see...well you are lucky to keep your eyes but that Tongue of you might need to be cut" The doctor said as he picked up a pair of rusty scissors. "A bit rusty...but we can give a shot for metal poisoning" The doctor said

Gasp-wheeze, gasp-wheeze! Ariel had started hyperventilating again by this point, her anxiety and fear truly taking hold this time as it seemed to finally hit home that she was in for torturous, agonizing pain. But she tried to get her breathing under control so she could clamp her mouth shut, as if that would prevent them from committing the deed they planned to do; it may slow them down for a moment or two, perhaps, but she knew they were probably just going to force her mouth open anyhow. She was just trying to put off the inevitable, if only for a short while.

The doctor sighed before heaing the hyperventilating stop. He turned around and saw the mare close her mouth. "Well now...I guess we will have to do this the long way..." The doctor cam over and set the scissors on the metal tray next to the table. "Open wide or..." The Doctor got a hacksaw that was nice and sharp.

Ariel looked at the hacksaw in absolute horror, her eyes widening once more. She figured they would try to force her mouth open somehow, but that she hadn't been expecting. It was a struggle for the young mare to not break into tears yet again as she felt her lungs trying to draw in more wheezing gasps in response to the terror she felt.

 

It didn't take long for her to choose the lesser of two evils. After choking back a sob, she slowly opened her mouth wide for them.

"Keep her mouth open now" The doctor said as two ponies came over and held her mouth open. "Don't worry...this won't last long...My name is Trager by the way...not as if you would be able to say it once your tongue is cut" Trager said as he opened the scissors and placed the blade upon her tongue"

Ariel said nothing, not that speaking would have been a very easy task with her mouth held open anyway, as she stared up at the face of the one that would be removing her tongue. Trager... She would make certain to remember his name. If she ever got out, she would make sure he was one of the first to be arrested. And if she should die in this place, she would spend her eternity haunting him.

 

She then closed her eyes tightly as she felt the blade on her tongue, bracing herself for the pain that would come.

Trager soon cut out half of Ariles tongue out. "To tell the truth I only did this because I'm tired of licking my own stamps" Trage said as he put the tongue in a plastic bag before grabbing the hacksaw. "Now...take her back to her cell I'm done with her...for now" Trager said as the ponies picked her up.

The pain was unlike anything she had known before. Having a part cut out from her own body... it was excruciating. She tried to scream in agony, but choked on the blood that had flooded her mouth. She coughed and hacked, spitting the offending fluid out. All she could do was focus on trying to keep breathing, the pain numbing her mind to everything else. Tears streamed down her cheeks, and she let out soft, ragged sobs as she was taken back to her cell.

The threw Ariel back in her soon which soon shook Nayru as she looked at her. "Ariel...are you okay what did t-" Nayru stopped as she saw blood leaking from Ariels mouth. "Oh my god....no..." Nayru slumped to the ground before holding herself" These people...they are monsters"

Embers closed his eyes, he could hear somepony sobbing, he got up and walked over, out of the cell to the next one over, were he saw a wolf holding somebuddy else, both of them seemed to be crying. He tilted his head "Uh, This might be a bad time, But I thought I would come over here and talk, as my other mate seemes to be sleeping"

Nauru looked up . " They took my eye out and cut her tongue out" Naryu said feeling sick. "Whatever they did...They will pay...I don't care if I did in the process they will pay for what they have done" Naryu said as she tried to comfort Ariel. " Be careful...these people are insane maniacs...they'll cause pain to anyone of us"
