Animation Help?

Alright, so I'm working on this little .gif animation thing, and I know it's not very smooth right now but I would like some suggestions on how to make it better?

 

Is the pose alright?

Is the body awkward?

How should the arms go when I make them?

How can I make the motions more smooth?

Answer for 1-3. It depends what exactly you want it to do/ how you want it to move.

 

As for 4, what program are you using? I'd just recomend more transition slides between the main images but it depends on what your using to animate it.

This is a good sort of TuT for MLP animations dealing with legs and a walk cycle. Hope it helps a bit.

Well, I don't exactly have an animation program... XD;; I've been making it frame by frame and using an online site called Iaza to put the slides together

 

Though it's not a walk cycle, it's just a dance like hopping from hoof to hoof

Oh well I've never used that before :x But judging by the site, I think you should just add more transition slides to smooth it out a tad more.
