Does anyone play this game? I've just got back into it!

I played it a few months ago because I remember how good it was, but everything had changed and I was just like

Back in like 2003-2006 shoot that was so long ago it seems now... can't believe that game is still going heh. Such nostalgia though

It has changed alot but they have added in legacy mode, which basically makes the game feel like it used to and removes the new combat system from the game

 

Youca n turn this on and off all the time!

 

They have removed all bots as well so now everyone talks !

To tell the truth... I don't really mind the new version of runescape it is now but i really liked the old version, Found it a lot more fun

I could never get into runescape. I'd play past the tutorial and get kind of bored. I knew people who played it, though. I knew a guy who, at one point, had one of the top scores for woodcutting or something.

It was just too grind-y and strung out for me. There was never anything fun to do.

EDIT: And even if you could get past all that, then what's next? You just rack up more gold to get more stuff and just... keep casting spells/shooting arrows/slicing goblins?

It's one of my best childhood memories. I started in 2007, then quit around 2010

 

I just got back into it yesterday, I've been spending most of my time on the "Old school" servers, and the new Legacy mode is great!
