I'm only playing Leaf Green these days, I restarted my game a few days ago so this is very much a work in progress:

 

Charizard (Pyravis): Flamethrower, Wing Attack, Metal Claw, Slash

Lapras (Atlantea): Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Surf

Nidoqueen (Materra) Superpower, Crunch, Double Kick, Poison Sting

Dragonair (Esperanza): Slam, Dragon Rage, Twister, Thunderwave

 

Charizard's nickname is maybe my favourite, as he is Fire/Flying (as opposed to Dragon :okiedokielokie: ) I decided to combine 'pyros' and 'avis' for 'fire bird' 

I quite liked Nidoqueen's too, as she is exclusively female and a Ground Pokemon, I combined 'mater' and 'terra' for 'earth mother' .

 

You can probably gather that I like ancient languages

I'm just going to list my Black 2 team, since it's the only team I'm proud of.

 

Samurott (Aqua Jet, Surf, Ice Beam, Grass Knot)

Sawk (Close Combat, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Ice Punch)

Arcanine (Wild Charge, Crunch, Flare Blitz, Extremespeed)

Flygon (Dragon Claw, Fire Punch, Rock Slide, Earthquake)

Clefable (Magical Leaf, Shabow Ball, Hyper Voice, Fake Tears... pretty lame moveset, huh? xP)

Espeon (Shadow Ball, Psychic, Signal Beam, Calm Mind)

 

Admittedly, I'm trying to give them better movesets, and I want to replace my Clefable for a better one (or a better Pokémon, actually), but otherwise I like this team because a) none of my Pokémon share any weaknesses with one another, since weaknesses are always a problem in my other teams and  there aren't any Pokémon in this team I regret using. xP

Been playing a lot of Heart Gold on DS lately. My team is as follows, prepare for a bunch of Gen 1:

 

Huroshi the Quilava: Despite being my starter, I feel Huroshi is kinda weak. He lacks in defenses and doesn't pack a huge punch unlike others on my teams. I still like him regardless, he's my starter of course. :3

 

Mushka the Sandslash: One word; Awesome. I had never really used Sandshrew/Slash (SlashSlash, heh) before and I was excited to try him out after leaving him in the daycare for a little while. Wow, beastly. Very high defense and attack stats with Shadow Claw which decimated Morty's team. Plus she has Strength, which is just powerful.

 

Mag-neat-O the Magneton: Yep, Magneton, always love them. He has plenty of electrical attacks including Spark which is cool because it is a physical attack.

 

Lerby the Golbat: Oh Lerby. I have not used him much at all yet. Left him in the daycare with Mushka, evolved him to Golbat and taught him Fly. That's all I am using him for right now, but I do like Golbats.

 

Apiriton the Haunter: Apiriton would be a Gengar by far, but I have not had the opportunity to trade yet. Still, he is awesome. High special attack with Hypnosis, Curse, Nightshade and Shadow Ball. Curse is such a brutal move on big hitters like Steelix, whom I fought recently. Curse is what did him in.

 

And lastly,

 

Wassermann the Staryu: Another Pokemon that should be evolved, but I cannot find ANY stones anywhere, particularly water stones in this case. Where can I find these? Other than that, Wassermann is kinda weak right now. He has Surf which is useful but all of his other moves kinda suck, especially Rapid Spin. More like Rapid...fail, or something. He is also kinda low level right now, I need to train him more. He has potential. Once he becomes Starmie, it's on.

 

So yeah, there is my Heart Gold team of winners. That's what I tell them at least. I love em though. :3
