He then saw Louise be led out into the lobby by a doctor who seemed...less than amused. He walked over to her, "So...that happened."

@, Louise shrugged, holding out her hand and reabsorbing the finger bones. They melted into her skin quicker than before, and she smiled. "They made my powers stronger," she said. "As far as I'm concerned, that's well worth it. The doctor's a creep, tho. He changed his mind about me tho when he saw what my power was."

I agreed, I did not think about the risks, and every bad situation possible, but instead thought about the possibility of not being alone anymore, and letting myself feel happy news once again. The monster inside me still needed to be quenched, I'm not a fool, but that would be taken care of latter now I went out with my new and suddenly acquired girlfriend.

Detru fell to her knees, panting hard. Normally, her beams took no energy, but firing for 30 minutes straight was taking its toll. Not without good as well, her shots were far more accurate, but she needed a quick break. She stumbled away before flopping down on a bench, careful to leave one eye open

"I bet he did." Zen said as he looked at the doctor who retreated back into his work area. He sat down on the couch in the lobby, "But how did they enhance your powers? I left before anyone could do anything to me. I don't really like anything hospital related."

Gale nodded slightly and felt elated. "Ok. Just let me get my hair in order." She said, before walking into the bathroom. After a few moments, she walked out with her hair in a perfect ponytail, with the tip going around her neck and down to her chest. "Lead the way." The teen didn't exactly know where the diner was, and would simply let Shadow lead her there.

Tora screamed as the sound assaulted her ears. She let Nico go and ran off with tears in her eyes. Upon leaving the room, she burst into a tiger and bolted out of the institute.

 

She needed to run off the excess energy and get rid of the ringing in her ears. People were terrified at the sight of a loose beast but she paid them no mind.

Nico stayed in the position he was in until he came to his senses. He saw where Tora ran off and started to pursue her, knowing that she'll be long gone. Soon as he stepped outside, he heard a few screams and decided to follow them, knowing that Tora just passed by. He set off at a fast walk and followed the screams, as well as the phone calls, as they seemed to get louder whenever he went past a house that belonged to the phone call. Nico winced and held his head with a hand while the other grabbed the headphones and morphed them bqck into a cell. He didn't dare call out her name though in case Tora was still a tiger.

Seeing that Gale was ready, I had to hide my excitement while I gestured for her to follow. We will not out the door and I remembered were our destination was and remembered it was in fact only a twenty minute walk from the apartment.

 

We arrived and entered I ordered for myself and asked, "What do you want?" I smiled warmly patiently waiting for her to order.

@, "They gave me an injection," Louise explained. "I know that it's worked; I can feel the power running thru me. I won't need to keep taking calcium tablets any more to enhance my powers; I have that enhancement now, and forever! It's entirely up to you, but perhaps you would like to reconsider."

"I'll pass on that." He said without hesitation, "My powers aren't the kind that people would want upgraded unless they're up to something." He made his way to the door and opened it. "Let's get out of here, this place is rubbing me the wrong way, and I always listen to my instincts."

Gale smiled as she walked into the diner and sat next to Shadow. "I'll have a chicken sandwich with a salad." She said. The teen loved how kind Shadow was, and he was perfect with his good personality and intelligence. The teen then began to daydream slightly about her life so far and what it could end up as. If all ended well, she would be a loving mother, a caring wife, and one of the best at the research institute, of course that wouldn't be until a few years.

 

(Assuming we have time skips that go that far into the future. Also, I have a lot of ideas for Gale's abilities for when she gets the needle.)

Her powers weren't the sort to be used by anyone else but her, even considering they wanted to replicate them. Most people would be horrified at the very thought, like the doctor who'd given her the injection.

Tora knocked over Rikku and ran into the butcher shop. She followed the scent of blood and fresh meat, it was all she could do not to attack anyone. The customers inside scattered and screamed as the tiger leapt over the counter; roaring at the butcher to back off.

Detru punched and slashed, cackling like mad as she carved up another piece of meat the butcher wanted. Now this training was fun! She finished off with vicious stomp, smashing the head of the hog. "Heh. Another one bites the dust" Detru muttered to herself, tossing the meat to the vicious hounds. Training her skill wasn't as boring as she thought it'd be

Nico was going to call out Tora's name when he heard a whole lot more people screaming than before. Then he heard a tiger roar. "Tiger's roar ... people screaming ... seems to be coming from ..." Nico turned on the spot and managed to pinpoint the noise. He quickly ran in that direction and found the butcher's. "Butcher's? At least there's only raw meat but still ..." Nico muttered and walked inside, making sure to keep behind the tiger.

He really hoped it was Tora and not an actual tiger or some other shapeshifter. "Tora!" Nico called out

Tora ignored him, shoving the butcher baxk and running through the back door. In the kitchen she pounced and tore into a fresh hunk of meat, swiping at anyone who got too close.

 

Rikku picked herself up, and following the sounds of the screams, tried to get a hang of what was going on.

Detru whipped around to see a tiger leaping onto a chunk of meat. No fair! That was hers!

 

"You bastard! That was mine!" Detru roared, leaping into the fray. She ignored the slashes of the tiger, easily thick enough that nothing vital was hit with the wild scratches. She opened her arms wide and closed, doing her best to grab the tiger in a bear hug and squeeze the life out of it. It didn't occur to her that she wasn't strong enough to do that(she was strong enough to restrain), but she wanted some more personal brawling

Nico followed the tifer but before he went any further, he helped the butcher up and oushed him towards the door, shouting for him to get out of the shop. After having done that, he carefully followed Tora and found her tearing into some meat. He wasn't going to interfere, but he then noticed the rather thick girl from the boat earlier try tofet Tora of f of the piece of meat. "Get off her!" Nico shouted at her and morphed his Cube into some headphones. Placing them on her head, he mentally flipped the switch to on and a high pitched ringing came through the speakers.

(So the ringing is high enough so that it's nearly out of humean hearing but low enough so that it only stuns and dazes the person hearing it.)

Detru shook her head, snarling a bit. What was that noise? Her footing stumbled somewhat, her sense of balance being thrown off. But she refused to let go of the tiger, this time moving her hands to the throat. 

"Stupid noise...won't stop me" she panted, feeling the beginning of a black out. No! Now was not the time!

"So what do yout want to do now? I'm fresh out of ideas." Zen asked as he walked along side her. He started floating out of boredom after a while though, choosing that instead of walking. 'Hm, maybe I could fly her around the place. That sounds fun.' He thought and then voiced that thought. "I could fly you around if you want."

"Yes ... the 'stupid' sound will stop you." Nico said calmly and raised the frequency a tiny bit. Now it has a higher of knocking her out without killing her. He turned to the tiger and movèd towards her; staying just out of range of her swipes. "Tora! Listen! This isn't you! You are not a predator, Shiela!" Nico shouted at her, trying to get her to turn back.

Detru snarled, doing her best to stay up. No, this couldn't be happening! In desperation, more gas than ever before exploded out of her mouth and nose, oxygen atoms breaking apart in the air and in the lungs of those who breathed it in. But it didn't help. Detru fell over, hissing curses under her breath as unconsciousness took her

A large man with strawberry-blonde hair happened to be on his way to his butcher to pick up a steak when he heard a roar that sounded... quite familiar, oddly enough. Apparently someone else in town could do that too. He broke into a run and was in the shop within moments. He reached out with long arms and placed a hand on the back of the tiger's neck. "Calm down. You're the one in control, not the animal. Always remember that." Despite his close proximity to a deadly beast, the man seemed perfectly calm and confident, as if he'd done this a million times before.

 

((So funny story. A long time ago when I was first coming up with this setting, I had Eye of The Tiger stuck in my head, and thus was a new character born. So yeah, he has basically the same power as Tora, except he can only turn into a tiger. But for the record, I didn't just copy her or anything.))

Tora snarled in pain, straining against the mans pull. But soon the adrenaline dwindled and the pain took hold. The tiger slowly turned into the young bruised girl.

 

She groaned in pain; Detru had practically crushed her windpipe and she choked as she tried to breathe again.
