Ok so we all know who Discord is by now 

 

Well here is the true question. HOW WAS HE BORN.

 

There are some people who think he is Starswirled others think he was created by him well tell tell how you think he was made

My headcannon is that, like the term Draconequus says, he's the offspring of a pony (I think a unicorn) and a dragon.

 

By that token, I think Celestia would freak if she found out about Spike's feelings for Rarity.

In it it was deduced that he was a being that existed for billions of years, not someone who was related to Starswirl. Also the Starswirl arguement was proven invalid simply because it doesnt line up with the timeline.

Hmm let's see. Improvisational Head cannon alert

 

 

Discord comes from another realm (think like the Breezies). The Princesses were new at ruling and got in too deep with some magic and temporarily opened the a rip in Equestria allowing one Draconequus to come through. At first he seems harmless though annoying, and befriends the sisters, hoping to help him find a way back home.

 

Star Swirl sees through this and tries to warn them, but they won't listen. He finds a way to reopen the rift, but this becomes the catalyst that makes Discord reveal his intentions of staying and ruling. Crazy ass battle. Star Swirl loses and is the one thrown into the dimensional rift.

 

The sisters now realizing their mistake and consequences of their decision attempt to take down Discord.

Draconequus were created by a formless entity called Entropy who opposes Unity which governs order in the universe. Free Will vs Destiny
