I frankly don't care what they are.  Could be half rock  -cough, I have one of those-  and it'd be ok.  Just trying to understand for future reference


I'll use my OC Belle, And try to come up with a a OC who's confident, not very shy and charismatic. Also make the OC a mare. And please, no alicorns.

Luna if you had mentioned the pheinox part I would have dropped the issue but I also should have read the link so I apoligize. I assumed he was just magic capable pegasi.

Im not against this characters idea. (and don't worry I don't use alicorns....MIGHT for the other guy becuase...dunno..)  But,  might need a littly clarity on him.  Exactly what's going on....seems neat!  I may have someone quite fitting.

I'm in the middle of drawing a pony.   Got your guy on the brain back burner however,   a few rather fun angles I can work with.

Sorry!  I can multitask,  but I like to go in with at least a drawing, and can only draw one at a time,  since they don't have a profile yet.

 

 

 

In some rps the physical appearence does change to a mare if the other player wants that change

is it just an illusion?  Or like actually changing....because that's kinda neat.  (sorta Ranma 1/2  which was great)

There is my fan character. He is heroic and always defend the innocent from danger, but he's also really nice and like to be social. He can be a traveler who has left Japon for a while, if you want him to be. Would make an interesting foreigner-type character with lots of unique holidays and traditions, but no matter what, he is open to doing lots of things, having fun, and meeting new ponies or anyone at all. His armor is for battle purposes only, so he is happy to go all natural when he is just being social around town.

BUT..point is.  I gots my big ol book of japanese armour,  and a boat load (Get it pun) of information.  There's a lot to work with here,  and he tickles me in a good way.

 

You sure there's no rules you'd like me to follow by, 

 

Bring on a challenge. Whatever you think fits best. It's actually nice to hear from someone who knows a little more about Japanese and Samurai history than the average person. I have taken a college course on Japanese history, and I've read a few books on my own when I was younger. I'm always learning things, but when I make a fictional character (like Samurai Equine), I try to incorporate as many things as I can while trying to make something unique at the the same time. He might end up being a grab bag mix of many different Japanese influences, but hopefully that means there is a lot to work with. :)

Art doesn't do itself...sorry if it's taking a while,  but your pony is actually one I'm quite excited about. Visually, he has a neat little thing going for him,  and hope it'll work out.  After this current drawing I'm doing,   he's slated to get going.  If my brain and hand allow it,  if not, then I'll just type up the bio and you can give a say weather you like em or not. Needs a bit more backstory, but other wise...golden.  Well stone....>.<  you'll see. 

 

@@dusk shadeYour pony has not arrived yet.  However, they've been floating around in my brain for some time,  just wasn't sure when ever I could use them. But with Echo/Deja Vu....think they'd be rather fitting.   They are just super hard for me to draw....hopefully will have a nice bio or something for you to pass on....ummm tonight?  Maybe?  

 

@@Samurai Equine The armoured pony concept is one I love,  and I'll leave you to have the only one wearing Samurai armour.  Then again, I could eaisly just go to a different time period and snatch some armour concepts from there, but...well....that's not so super original.  I have a few nice ideas I'd like to try out.   Would you wan't a time period pony whom would look fitting next to Mr Equine?  Otherwise I have other ideas...just not sure which one you'd like better. -still involves armour-

 

@@Gloomfury  Still not sure who can be tossed at belle.  I have a few ideas,  but just haven't settled on one yet.  chosing between a rather rough femme whom's digging round the swamps for some of her favourite thing ever....coal.   (she loves the stuff)  another is considerably more upper crust,  out in the world to see how the "common pony"  lives.

The time period doesn't matter to me. If Celestia can have armored guards in Twilight's time, then why not a modern-day samurai pony who chooses to occasionally wear armor? My character fits with any time line, and I keep it open for any situation. He doesn't wear the armor 24/7. He wears it only when needed, usually for battle. He can put it on and remove it super quick because he's just talented that way. :)

For the sake of the RP, I'd rather have someone that contrast. However, if someone else is willing to play the part of a pony that compliments my fan character (could even be a ninja pony for all I care), then I'd be fine with that too. I can work with whatever.

Meet Spin Dizzy,  or spin,  or dizzy, or diz,  for short.  A bouncy, happy-go-lucky unicorn with a special talent for spinning things.   What a skill!! No matter what it is, Spin Dizzy can probably spin it.   Using this he has done the unthinkable.  spun pottery without a potters wheel.  The maddness.  Oh, and he also fashioned himself a jet pack that works under the idea of him spinnig the rotors with his magic.   Unfortunatly for him,   steering,   power,  etc,  are all in the experimental phase,  he'll probably figure it out, in time.   When not failing to fly,  he wears the wings anyway,  just because he likes them -and they weren't cheap to make, so he's gonna wear them darnet-   All that aside he's a handy pony to have around, and not a bad cook either.

Strike Slip is a pony of few words,  mainly because no ones ever really asked.   Weather it's his slight odd appearance,  or how he pokes at rocks all day,  or maybe how he simply just never starts up a conversation is anyone's guess.   Digging for gems, rare minerals and ores,  Strike uses his naturally hard body,  oh did I not mention he was a golem?  Regardless, he uses it to find these,  then doctor them up into trinkets and jewelry.   While not the most outgoing pony,  he is more than willing to try new things,  just needs a bit of proding to do so first.   

 

Dusk - Your guy is just bobbling around in my head.   UNLESS he is good enough for you.
