How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I saw all the hype the year it came out and decided to check it out.

Hello! My name's Rebecca. I'm not new at all to the mlp fandom, but I'm new HERE, and I figured it's about time I contributed to the mlp fandom in ways more than youtube comments. Also, I was hoping I could get help with my character, since I seem to be no good with colours. so...

 

My pony is a Unicorn names Amber Dust.

She's a realist, but still has strong ideals. She's very curious and a little shy, but passionate about discovering new things. She's aspiring to become a designer/artist. Her curiosity outweighs her shyness, which could probably get her into sticky situations. She's afraid of leaping into new things unprepared. Her name/theme was inspired a bit by Blue amber, a stone that glows under black light. I was thinking her cutie mark would be said rock, representing "a light in the dark", or hope, but I'm really not sure. I was even considering that her mark and freckles would change colour/glow in the dark, but I dunno...I don't want her to be too "special-snowflake"-y. She has a strong interest in magic, but she's not really any better than the average unicorn. If she were to weild an element, it would be honesty or kindness. She values LOGIC. So I'm really just having troubles design-wise. I appreciate any and all help.

Welcome to the forums! I actually really like her design, especially her ear. I'm not sure about her glowing in the dark, but maybe giving her a blue amber, maybe encased in glass, as a pendant? Either way, I hope you enjoy your time here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
