I don't agree with this dude, but saying that you HAVE to love and tolerate everything just because of your impeccable taste in cartoons is plain silly. Not defending his opinion, just putting that out there I'm not saying that either. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions and thoughts. I just don't understand homophobia at all. The idea is incredibly alien to me, and I can't make heads or tails of it. But if he's comparing it to R34, he clearly has a huge problem with it. Plus, he shouts his title of 'bigot' from the rooftops, indicating he's proud of it. This tells me he actively bashes same-sex relationships. It would be one thing if he let things slide, understanding that people will do what they like regardless of how he feels about it, but he isn't. Like I said, I just don't get it. Is where I can say, metaphorically, that I have just taken an arrow to the knee. --- I used to be like that. Really, I'm not going to lie at all. I used to be that way. I couldn't help it, I grew up in a pretty biased country town (where I still live, btw). But then.I went to college. And opened my damn mind up. Because I've realized there's nothing "right" about defending bigotry. I mean, I'm a Christian, and loving everyone should include everyone. So, now I just say, I don't care about your sexual orientation, preferences, etc. - or your view on politics... as long as you're respectful to me, I will respect you. I don't have to be the radical conservative that I might have once been. I mean, I'm still a rightie (as in, I lean to the right politically), but that doesn't mean I have to be an arse. Doesn't mean I have to be close-minded. --- Oops, I think I might just be putting fuel to the fire here, but... hehehe...
