Yay? 2 A huge thank you to my great friend AppleGearRising for this signature picture Thank you Apple, I love it so much! Normally I would just post the picture, but as it seems, it is too big to put in the signature here, so here is the link to my MLP personality test results: http://www.bronyland.com/pony-personality-test/?q=OTU0Mnw5NDMzMzA (I am mostly like Fluttershy, in case you couldn't already guess.) Envy 6,169 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I took marching band in high school... Which was now years ago... Almost a decade now, in fact... o.O I played the trumpet, although if I marched *now* it would be tenor saxophone. I may not ever be able to march again, but I couldn't have asked for a better high school marching band experience. I was a part of a big school, we got to go to major national marching band competitions. Grand Nationals in my senior year was simply magical. It's been so many years now, but I will never forget it. I bawled my way out of the Finals performance. xD Not only was In marching band, but at OU im in Symphonic Band, Brass Band, Pep Band, and a Euphonium Quartet OU... Surely you don't mean University of Oklahoma? D: 3 Everything needs more woodwind!

Haruhi-chan 486 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 Even though I played an instrument once (Clarinet), I don't think I've ever really been in a marching band before. I may have been at one time, but it's a blur to me. x Haruhi Suzumiya x goddess of the world twitter
HunterTSN 1,444 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 (edited) Been in it for 3 years marching baritone and sousa, plus one season of Euph with DCA. Here is our show last year. I'm the first baritone, furthest right at the opening of the show; (The video is called Strawberry Harvest so it wouldn't be taken down, the show was Willy Wonka) Edited September 14, 2014 by HunterTSN 1 Your very own Victorian-styling, airship-flying, super-sizing, brass-lining, quick-drying, detoxifying, low-pricing, newbie-knifing, over-driving, sometimes-hiding, unsurprising, ninja-fighting, perfect-timing, always-smiling, never-lying, best at writing, also rhyming automaton! Overdrive 5,366 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I was back in high school. I did it for 5 years back in high school. I don't know why, but I never got back into it in college. Zygen 6,066 September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 Hey there! I'm in my high school's marching band! I march trumpet. Band's, like, my life. There's no time for me to have any other life. I live for those Friday night football games. I march Trumpet too! And Band is life . I love Friday night football games, and I'm quite insane to put it bluntly during those games, but I have fun ;p. You have a very early competition season, I thought most didn't start until around October. We had our first competition just yesterday. We have another next week. Our last competition is in early November. And as i've already given away, i'm in marching band, I play Trumpet, and that's the only instrument i've ever marched or played in band at school. I've been learning guitar on the side on my own time, but i'm way to inexperienced to play that for band. Since I'm supposed to be in our symphonic band this year, and we have a concert band as well that we're allowed to also be in if we want to learn another instrument to play in it, I might see if my band director will let me do both and learn something else, depending on how it goes I suppose. but that's a bit off topic. Our show is patriotic themed this year, and it's pretty good overall I think, has some really good stuff, we still have plenty of work to do but regardless. We got 2nd place overall at our first competition we just had(1st place beat us by like less than a full point..) Last year at our big state competition we have at the end of the year, we got 8th place, which was the best we've got since our current band director has been here. I'm also a junior btw. Our band director is awesome, she can be pushy and stuff sometimes, and get aggrevated with us, but I still love her, because she is just a great combination of knowing when to work hard, and knowing when to have fun. And so we get stuff done, and we have fun at the same time, and to a level that I think is well regulated in my opinion, some may disagree or seem to or maybe even really dislike her, but I don't. I also love my band in general, they're like my 2nd family in a way, I usually end up crying, or am hard pressed not to at the end of the marching season when they give their speeches. And when I leave... oh dear... let's not think about that... But I love marching band, even if I get frustrated sometimes and hate it, I still love it. Thanks to Gone Airbourne for the awesome sig! Overdrive 5,366 September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 I miss marching band. We were a nationally-recognized program. We learned 5, count 'em, 5 shows every year. It was so much work, but worth it all in the end. "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."
RWB 229 September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 Nope. Was part of an orchestra 9 years back, though. I played the trombone! "The meaning of life? Humans create their own meaning. Treble Bolt 1,122 September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 Buck YEA! My kind of thread! I was in Marching Band throughout High School. Many people in the US actually have heard of my school because of a horrid bus accident that happened back in 2005, that killed the band director and his family. However, I didn't go to that school when it happened. I loved band, I was a trombonist. Although I LIVED to perform on the field, I was an outcast, and overall didn't enjoy myself outside of performance. But I loved band in general, and it still is a massive desire in my heart (to play in band). I played Bari in jazz! Bari's unite!!! /) "In fire iron is born, by fire it is tamed"
