"Grey has quite the crush on Scootaloo, but what he doesn't know is that she likes him too. I bet when one of them finally confesses, they're incredibly likely to get together." In the back of Book's mind, he was chanting for a matchmaker. "Well that's adorable. You might just need to send a push towards them so they'll figure out they have a crush on the other." Book smiled, thinking it'd be adorable if they actually would start dating as kids.

"Ever since Pinkie and I got together as special someponies, she's pretty much taken the role of Grey's mom..." He smiled. "Which means that, of course, she finds those two adorable and is pushing me to push them together..." Storm laughed again, "Before you know it, she'll have a party set up just for that purpose...."

He continued to muse aloud. "Though it was a bit of an accident that I even let slip my feelings for her, everything turned out great... Pinkie's also pushing me to get them together so they don't have to stumble around each other like we, well mostly me, used to..."

"Oh... Uh so you and Pinkie are a thing?" He said, scratching his neck a bit. Book didn't have a special somepony and not a lot of mares took a lot of interest in him besides as an author and he didn't really have a crush on any ponies. He thought other ponies as a couple were cute but wasn't interested in having a date before.

Mezra himmed. "I guess that makes sense. It's funny, I've probably ate and drink some things that most ponies might never ever get to try. And yet, I've never had the most common drink in Equestria next to water and fruit punch. "She giggles. "But Not everyone can try everything I guess." When Mezra was done talking her ear twitched after she heard a rustling sound come from some bushes.  She looked towards the bush and then cast a cloaking spell on herself and made her way over to the bush. Her dancing wisps stayed and kept dancing around Briar and Brittle. 

 

 Mezra crept closer to the bush till she could see a filly hiding inside it. Think it would be funny. Mezra got as close to the filly's face as she could and then took of the cloaking spell. "Hiya!"

"w-w-w-w-H-HA?" the unicorn paniced "W-W-W-W-H-HOS T-T-THERE?" she hid a little bit more "W-W-W-WH-H-H-HY-Y A-A-A-AR-R-R-RE WH-WHO A-A-ARE" she calm down a bit and looked up slightly "huh....o-o-o-oh"  "s-s-s-st-t-t-til-l w-w-w-w-who a-a-a-ar-r-re-e y-y-y-yo-o-ou?" she was still really really scared but not as much a usall (spell check isn't working sorry for my horible spelling)

"Yeppers!" Storm replied with a happy nod. "I actually was in love with her for the longest time before I accidentally blurted it out.... Thankfully things worked out, and I now consider myself the luckiest stallion in the world!" He explained. "Plus, Pinkie makes a perfect Mother-Figure for Grey!" Storm exclaimed. "It's like the most positively positive thing in the whole wide world!" He continued excitedly, before pausing. "Well, for me at least..." He finished sheepishly, rubbing a hoof to his neck.

 Mezra had her hooves to her mouth as she got very giddy over the filly's cute stutter. "Oh gods, you are too cute!" She couldn't stop herself from picking up the filly and nuzzler her cheek while she giggled. "I'm Mezra Umbra, you bundle of adorableness." He kept giggling. "But please, call me Mezzy."

So it would seem that he wasn't the only one that had noted something, Mez had as well. However, she were quite a bit more direct in her approach than he had been, and from the panicked voice he would say that it had been with mixed results. Oh well, done was done, it would be simpler to just roll with things for now.

 

However, considering the voice clearly belonged to a rather young somepony - a filly most likely - and the reaction that had come from just meeting Mez, Briar decided to stay as he was for now: with the back to the two of them, silent and with the cape securely over his vines. Nervous types did not need more to trouble their minds, and this one sounded rather flustered in it.

 

Brittle on the other hoof, just made sure to stand so she had the quiet stallion between her and whoever was stuttering that much. It didn't Sound like it was a dangerous pony, but... She didn't like the emotions she felt from the bush.

 

Even if she only fed on Love from the emotional spectre, it didn't mean she couldn't feel other, strong emotions, and she knew the bitter taste of fear very well. It had been rolling down from the audience almost as much as disgust in her time in the circus and it was one of her least favourites to dig through, because usually when she felt it - even after she had been broken out - it was because somepony was fearing Her.

 

This other pony might not be afraid because of that, but... She didn't want to take chances. Fear lead to hate, and hate hurt like a thrown rock when it was directed at her. She'd rather cover here, look over with her big eyes and just wait and see what would happen.

"Yeah.... She's really silly but doesn't exactly know her limits quite yet... I mean, eight days?! That's their record of how long she could be out if the hospital for whatever reason she needed." Book sighed and glanced at the door again, wanting to make sure she was still in the hospital safely.

Storm sighed, "Well, that's Blitz for you... Always rushing for the next thing, just as quick as the explosions she makes." He chuckled. "But, as much as I want her to learn to take breaks... It's up to her in the end." Storm said, "Though I try to help her with what I can, where I can... Thankfully the animals in the Everfree don't bother her, so at least that's one less thing to worry about...."

"P- *Yawn* Pinkie? So cool..."

 

A little mumbling and some rustling could be heard after that behind the closed door, then nothing more. The mention of Pinkie Pie seemed to have gotten a few lights going in there, but it wasn't certain if she were awake, or if she had been talking in her sleep

 

It wasn't everypony she knew that could get such a reaction, but Pinkie Pie were her idol, and if she had heard her voice there too it would take more than a door and some drowsiness to keep Blitz where she were. Blitz hadn't really spoken with Pinkie, even after Storm and her began to hang around eachother, but she just couldn't keep still whenever she even saw her. The festive mare always gave her a ton of ideas, and she was so eager to get back and make things that she hardly could stop herself from running out and start working, and whenever she had finished something for Pinkie - for example the confetti bombs for her party cannon - she had nothing on her mind but to get them there, which left some unfinished projects at home.

 

When she got there, it was usually the crack of dawn or during the night, so she didn't actually see Pinkie or knew what she did when she found the gifts, but it usually didn't take long before she had to get back home and start working again on the other things until she was low on inspiration or ideas, and then she had forgotten to ask her, or Storm and Grey about how things went. And if she then saw Pinkie again... Rinse and repeat.

"Oof!" Storm let out again as he was once again launched across the hall, this time by a pink blur. "Hiya Stormy!" A bubbly voice chirped. Storm chuckled, "Hey Pinkie... You heard about Blitz too, huh?" He greeted. Pinkie nodded her head up and down frantically, "Yeppers! How is she?" She asked worriedly. "Exhausted. She overworked herself again..." Storm replied. Pinkie sighed, "Okie Dokie Lokie... She really needs to learn to take breaks."

Slowly the door cracked open and a big yawn could be heard from the other side before Blitz Boom poked her head out and looked around at the ponies there. She still looked a little drowsy, but she were not sleepwalking, that was for sure. Eventually, her eyes set on the one she had heard talking before: Pinkie Pie.

 

Blitz yawned once more, then raised her hoofs to her face and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and shook her head a little. When she put the hoofs down again, she looked a bit more refreshed, and looked up at Pinkie with a big, gleeful smile.

 

"Pinkie? Yey, Pinkie!"

 

Blitz was still a bit woozy in her head, so the ideas didn't come flooding in right now, so she had the chance to go over and do what she did to everypony: She hugged Pinkie's right, front leg.

Book glanced at the door when he thought he heard Blitz. He blinked when Pinkie blurred into the room. "Hey there Pinkie." He greeted. Book frowned a little when he saw Blitz up. "You all better now there Blitz?" He asked, wanting to make sure the energetic filly was feeling better and wasn't as exhausted.

Blitz looked to the side when the voice of Book went through. She looked at the stallion for a bit, tilted her head, then gave a big smile to him as well.

 

"Hi Book. I'm fine just a little weeee-oozie."

 

When she had begun to say the last word she had spaced out a little so it had gone a minor amount of *out there* for a few seconds before she were back with them again.

 

"Hehe, spinny. You good too? Found the hat pony?"

 

She might try and hide it a little, but Blitz was clearly not a 100% going yet. She still looked a little drained, and the spacing out said that her brain hadn't had enough time to relax to give her a completely stable set going. Or well, as stable as she could go anyway.

Brittle spaced out again, and let go off her grip on Pinkie's leg. It took her some time this time around to snap out of it again, and her face had a look like she was looking at several things that wasn't there while it lasted.

 

"Huh? Urgh, I wanna sit down."

 

With that, Blitz let fully go of Pinkie's leg and went down on the floor, shaking her head a few times and knocking on her noggin a couple of times to try and get things working again. She gave up with that pretty fast though, just didn't work right now it seemed.

 

"Woo, at least the floor stays still... Uhm, what was it you said? Oh right, nap... I guess? Perhaps I need one yeah... Some point."

 

Blits rambled a little here and there, then began to rock her head from side to side whilst looking into a wall for a little.

Storm and Pinkie chuckled and giggled respectively, "You should really start getting your rest silly filly, everypony needs to sleep! And I do mean everypony..." Pinkie said, casting a meaningful glance and elbow towards Storm. "Hey, I sleep!" Storm protested with a small smile and a raised hoof, "But I also like to look at the sky before bed, it's relaxing and there's not enough ponies that seem to appreciate the moon and the stars that Princess Luna puts up there!" He continued before shaking his head.

 

"Anyways... Here Blitz, if you're awake enough.... I made a new muffin recipe and design I think you might like!" Storm told Blitz happily before putting the muffin on a small plate and pushing it in front of her. "I modeled it after your cutie mark, and went for an 'Explosion' of flavor since a real explosive seemed a bit... Excessive." He informed the filly with a bright smile. "I thought I'd call them 'Boom Bomb' muffins..."

"There is just so much to Do, so little time in the day. Hehe."

 

Blitz had heard the talk about needing to sleep every time she had been in here, Usually from the doctor, a few times from Storm, and once from that mare who said she found her in a bin. She tried to follow it, and get some sleep, but sometimes there really were far too many things to do and she got obsessed trying to get it done before she would clonk out, just keep thinking one more tweak, one more item, Then she would sleep.

 

Then time would go and Wham! She woke up in the hospital and get a lecture from somepony. Perhaps she should try and make a clock of some kind? Ooh, or perhaps a timer and using some of those crushed bugs that made her fall asleep when she tried to powder them last time? Or an electrical device? or- Wait, did Storm just say... Muffins?

 

Blitz had gotten a spark in her eyes and looked a little more awake when the muffin was put on the plate and she looked at it with glee.

 

"Oooh, so Pretty! And it really looks like the real kabloomy mark! Wauv Storm, you really... Really-"

 

And with that, the lights went out once more and Blitz's head fell down to her legs before she fell to the side, halfway curled up, sleeping. As usual, she didn't snore, but the steady movement in her chest showed that she was breathing steadily, so there should be no worry. It was fortunates she had been lying down on the floor in advance so there wasn't a chance of any injuries when she went back into her little forced hibernation.

Storm chuckled to himself and shook his head as Blitz fell back asleep, "You silly filly, you..." He mumbled as he picked Blitz up in a wing, walking over and setting her back on the empty hospital bed. "Get some rest Blitz, you need it.." Storm whispered, placing a box of Boom Bomb muffins on the side table before going back and putting a blanket over Blitz. Quietly Storm walked out of the room, carefully shutting the door behind him.
