 Kelly stared at Void, she saw that he could be a magical creature but did not think it was open to some, she could not face Void when he was explaining. 

 

"Nobody knows for sure who they are, I came out of Equestria, where I lived was the only pony land, surrounded by Pegasus Ponies and Unicorns, who had the Power was the Alicornios, our village was controlled by a group of Alicornio who used negative magic on who went against his orders, since I did something wrong in the village, one earth pony could not stay with other ponies because he had not the same potential as Unicorns and Pegasus, I had a friend in my village, and these Dark Alicornios discovered, I saw my best friend run in front of me "

 

Kelly was crying at that moment, she did not want to touch the past but just letting it flow. 

 

"A few weeks later the Dark Alicorn's overthrew our village, I was the only one to survive, my parents sacrificed themselves to save me, if only I were not a pony land, everything could have been different" 

 

Kelly can not accept being a Pony land even their parents being Unicorn and Pegasus, she gave a very strong feeling, she stopped to look at Void and was letting the tears fall.

Void, even had a small tear running down his cheek onto his muzzle.

"You don't need to cry, if your parents sacrificed themselves for you they must have wanted to you to live on, they cared about you from what your saying"

Void then trotted closer to Kelly and put his hoof around her to try and comfort her to stop her crying, he still had the tear running down his own face and muzzle, he felt very bad for asking her about the Dark Alicorns.

Kelly could not take the time and let the differences she hated so much aside that time, she broke down and hugged her tightly Void, as a gesture she had ever done. 

 

"It's my fault, Void, if I were not so I would have never had as much trouble as I do" 

 

She saw that Void was felt with his story. 

 

"I can not stand to see the ponies showing his wings, and playing his magic in my face" 

 

Kelly still let the tears fall.

Void hugs her back quite tightly.

"Just because you don't have access to magic or wings does not mean you are worse than ponies who can" He said in a sincere manner ."You are just as unique as every other pony no matter the wings or horn" Void looked quite upset and reassured Kelly some more with a couple more tears down his face.

Kelly looked down before answering and wiped her tears with his paw. 

 

"You do not believe that, after everything that happened I do not know who I am ..." 

 

A sound echoes inside the forest around them. Kelly seems to ignore. 

 

"Do you really believe that I am special ?, I have no cutie mark, I have no magic or wings and also I have, I am friendless, living in a forest, the only thing left was my mane" 

 

She seems to mock its Own even that phrase, seemed to be in an identity crisis.

Void smiles warmly at her. "You are not friendless, Kelly, I am your friend" He said in a kind and calm way.

"You may not have wings or a horn but because your an Earth Pony you have greater physical stature then others, you don't have to live in a forest either"

Void said all this whilst still hugging Kelly.

Kelly looks Void, his eyes Wet with tears, she is embraced with Void. 

 

"I do not like living in Ponyville, I learned to live in this forest, you're right about the physical part, but it was useless when I needed" 

 

Kelly outlined a sad look 

 

"I do not know you will want to be my friend" 

 

Kelly looks at the forest and seems spotting some strange animal, but do not bother.

"Trust me I want to be your friend, I won't take no for an answer" Void said this with a grin and a smile.

"I would rather be your friend then just some random Changeling you know" He was starting to try and cheer up Kelly a little as he didn't want them to both be upset.

Kelly smiled to Void, she saw that the Changeling was trying to help there. 

 

"I do not know if I'm ready for new friends, everything has been so dark for me," 

 

She looks Void outlining a complex look, some tears were still on her face and look to ground thinking.

 

New sounds appears arround of us.

Briar began to feel bad for sneaking along these two now. It appeared this was a more tender situation than he had first assumed, and not something for prying ears, like himself. His curiosity was not worth corrupting this moment with his present.

 

He was debating simply turning around and instead approach the Changeling another day when he was not in a sensible situation like this when the forest began making some noises that were less than reassuring.

 

It was to be expected really. The sun no longer baked down on them, and the night time was when the majority of the predators came out to do their grizzly work. At least in the areas he had visited. It made great sense for the predators as well, as bad sight in some prey could be the edge between a meal and going to bed hungry. He would lie if he had said that he had not done similar in desperate times, so who was he to judge?

 

Briar gave a great, toothy smile to himself as he lurked behind a tree. If any predators would want to come out and have a go at these two they would have to follow the law of the food chain before getting their prize. namely, knowing when there is a bigger predator that doesn't like to be disturbed.

Void jumps up and starts pacing in circles, with his horn glowing a faint green in case they were jumped.

"What in Celestia was that?" He turns to Kelly impatiently and talks quite fast in worry.

"Was that even natural, should I ready my Magic?" As he said this he tried to calm himself.

 Kelly looks Void walking in circles, and the bright horn, she looked at the horn Void and seemed to be scared. 

 

"Calm down please do not use magic without reason, you promised me" 

 

Kelly looks scared to Void, she still did not accept very well the magic.

 

Noises in Forest again.

Void looked over at Kelly and stopped pacing as his Horn stopped glowing.

"Alright I won't use my magic, but what in the Hay are those noises?"

Void just kept turning around trying to locate the source of the sound as he spoke with quite a serious facial expression on his muzzle.

Kelly Look at Void, and he stopped to see the magic, she opens a smile, and talk. 

 

"Well let's not lose focus, we have to find the last place, now does not help come back, it's night." 

 

Kelly pointed to a cave up ahead.

 

"Well, you ready for this?"

Void gives his holed hoof to Kelly.

"Ready for what?" Void was still quite confused as he was uncomfortable with the noises around him but he started ignore them and then noticed the cave Kelly pointed at.

"Were heading for that cave? Why a Cave?"

Void noted the noises in his head just in case he forgot.

Kelly smiled at Void.

 

"This cave was the last spot where they saw a Dark Alicorn, I'm sure I find something, I need to know where they are"

 

Kelly vindictive proved that time.

 

"They will regret it"

Void understood why they came here now and agreed to search the cave with Kelly.

"Ahh, I see why we came here now" Void grinned at Kelly as he followed her towards the cave where these Dark Alicorn's were spotted last. "So what were looking for is evidence of them being here? Once this is done I really need to relax I thought today would be quite a calm day but thus far it has been quite exiting"

He glanced at Kelly and smiled Void. 

 

"Well anyway today i will sleep in this cave, what we're looking for is Negative energy, Dark Alicorns, usually leave a trail that sits for months if they live somewhere for a long time!" 

 

Kelly seemed to have felt something, and mecheu its muzzle quickly. 

 

"It's over there" 

 

Kelly was already used, it was very good with traces

Dark alicorn? Making them pay? And what was that about a cave? Surely, they were not going to walk into what could quite possibly be the most obvious trap nearby, would they? Even if it did not have these dark alicorns present, there were several other things that could be.

 

After all, caves were perfect hunting grounds for predators. Small areas, familiar territory, often complete darkness, and a few other things that really depended on the cave itself. Fact of the matter was, it was dangerous.

 

Perhaps it was not yet time to turn around after all, and perhaps, it was even time to stop lurking around like this and approach them before entering said cave. It would be... Unfortunate if he came around in the middle of a bad situation and was looked upon as an enemy. It would be better to not let it escalate that far

 

With that, he stepped out from his place behind the tree, came into the open and wandered slowly towards the two while clearing his throat and talking a few heavy stomps to make his presence clear.

 

"I hate to interrupt you, but perhaps I could advice a small degree of caution before diving head-first into this? After all, you never know what might be on the hunt at this time of the day."

 

Hid cape was in place to hide the vines and after the alluring voice had spoken, his mouth closed into a normal smile, hiding the sharp teeth and making for a more calm presence to begin with.

Book got up and went outside. He saw a pony with an orb. "Hello there. What's that orb you got there?" Book asked curiously. He was smiling and was pretty happy to be meeting new ponies again. And this one has a cool looking hat.

Void was surprised at this caped, mysterious, green 'pony' coming out from behind a tree all of a sudden so he readied his magic all of a sudden then noticed he wasn't attacking.

"Hmmm, you sure know how to surprise ponies. Well since your offering advice I may as well tell you my name, I am Void Crawler but just call me Void or Crawly" Once Void said this he hoped the pony in front of him would say his name back since that would be a start.

"Anything on the hunt will have to fear me more anyway, heheh" Void looked quite smug as he said this.

Kelly looked both Poneis and she think, and talk with Void and Briar.

 

"Hi My name is Kelly, nice to meet you" 

 

She looks for an answer. 

 

"Why were you following us?" 

 

Kelly begins to follow the trail of negative energy of "Dark Alicorn" who had left because of the weather.

Briar raised his right leg and bowed his neck in a formal greeting.

 

"Let me introduce myself as well then, Void and Kelly. My name is Briar Trapjaw. At your service."

 

It was curious if this one knew he was not a pony either. Most others seemed to think he was just weirdly patterned and that his *fur* was just a little scruffy. But around here? Why, several had already seemed to see past that and actually wonder what he then was. It was interesting really for a place to be full of some that looked so closely. Then again, seeing as Void here was a form changer, perhaps they had gotten used to seek small things to see the truth,

 

After his bow he slowly put his leg back down and addressed the mare that had just spoken to him.

 

"And I do apologise for following you, but once I heard mister Void speaking of what he was, and what he could do, I got rather curious, but I didn't want to interrupt you. I only came forth now because you mentioned some dangers that might lurk out here, and though mister Void here surely can defend himself, and likely you, I thought perhaps I could be of service, just in case."

 

Briar faced the direction between the voices of them both and gave off a big smile that could usually be reassuring, but in this case simply went to showcase the pale, razor-sharp teeth that grew in his mouth. If they did not know he wasn't a pony before, they would surely know it now.

Void noted his razor like teeth and for a funny moment Void Grinned showing his two large white fangs fully. He thought that Briar Trapjaw must be some sort of very unique 'pony' and from what he said, Void knew that he heard what he said about him being a Changeling earlier.

"Well it is a pleasure to meet you Briar, and I am guessing by service you want to come with us into that cave then"

Void was very intrigued himself at Briar's very unique features like his fur patterns and serrated teeth.

"Wait you heard me talking about what I am? Oh a Changeling" Void said as he raised his holed hoof of the ground and buzzed his insectoid wings.

Kelly saw the two showing its features and how she thought she had nothing to show soldiered on alone, she took a certain distance of the two during their walk she noticed that there was something in the cave, she was feeling the old negative energy that made she remember her past. 

 

Kelly was in a trance when she had virtually frozen her actions, she was there but his mind was in another world.
