"Aaaawh."

Ziggy couldn't hold it back when seeing the cute couple and their games. They just looked Way too adorable to not say anything, even if the whole inflation and stuff they had going didn't really make much sense. But hey, when did love make sense? Wasn't thinking that got the heart pounding after all, Not sure what that had to do with going against the laws of physics, but eh, why over think it?

From another point, Last looked at the couple too, but she didn't say anything. Sure, the teo of them looked pretty well suited together, but really, what in tarnation was going on? Was Storm Shine made from living bubble gum or something? And how did... No, nevermind. Whatever it was, it was likely involving Pinkie logic, and when the laws of nature gave up on making sense of it, what chance did she have?

Storm and Pinkie blushed, having temporarily forgotten about the other ponies in the area. "I'm gonna go get a muffin really quick." Pinkie said, darting off in such a way that it sent Storm flying, though she didn't notice. Storm shrugged, fairly used to things like this, before following the laws of gravity and falling towards a large cake that the Cakes were wheeling through the area( ). "STOOOP~!" Mr. and Mrs. Cake yelled, each holding out a hoof towards Storm's falling form. Storm ended up making a squeaking noise as he somehow skidded to a stoppin mid-air before pointing his hooves towards the ground and dropping gently downwards to land on the much more stable(And less messy) area.

"Whoops, sorry Mr. and Mrs. Cake..." Storm apologized. "It's quite alright dear, no harm no foul.." Mrs. Cake replied, a kind smile upon her muzzle. "Come on honey, we need to hurry this to the train! The delivery-ponies are expecting this to be on it's way to Canterlot in 20 minutes!" Mr.Cake reminded her. "Oh, right! Bye Storm, tell Pinkie that if we aren't back within an hour and a half she might need to watch the twins. We might have to take this to Canterlot ourselves if things don't go as planned..." Mrs. Cake told the blue pegasus. "Don't worry Mr. and Mrs. Cake, "I'll let her know!" Storm called, waving at their retreating forms.

When Brittle went to her own "bed", Mezra followed. Not thinking it would be a problem, she lied down next to Brittle. "I really hope you don't mind. I'm not a bog fan of sleeping on hard stone floors. I tried it once, it was very hard to get to sleep." He moved slightly closer so she was closer to Brittle. As soon as he lied her head down she was out like a light, letting out a quiet snore. While she slept she pulled Brittle close into a hug like she was a teddy bear.

@,

Ziggy looked at Storm with a vanishing panic and relief.

"Phew, That was close. Nice save."

She ruffled Storm's mane a little, whilst the thought on how he had just stopped mid-air ran through her head. She was surprised about that actually, as she hadn't figured that he knew how to do something like that, and especially turned the way he had been. Sure, she did her tricks in the air, but even she would have trouble doing something like that, especially in a small area like this. Why, if she didn't know better, she would think that Storm just defied gravity, but that was just a silly thought. Nopony could do that... Or well, she didn't Think so anyway.

A second or so had passed with the ruffling before she let go off him.

"Mind if I ask, who are the twins? Cute little foalies with squishy, small chins? Or pets like dogs, that chase all around? Or perhaps little birdies, that shuns the ground?"

@@Gloomfury,

Brittle was already passed out when Mez went over, so she didn't complain about the company, even if she got a small jitter through her at the physical contact for a few seconds, but that seemed to just be a reflective action.

If they would sleep through the night, Mez would wake up before Brittle, as the Changeling hadn't slept for a few days and was more comfortable than normal, which eased her mind enough to let her go into a deep sleep. She was not snoring, but a vague sound like a whisper through a flute did come out between her fangs.

Outside, Briar would be awake and standing at the edge of the river, silently, with his head turned towards the running water. Depending on how quiet Mez were, he might not hear her right away.

"The Cake twins, cute little foals. One's a pegasus and the other's a unicorn.." Storm replied with a smile before looking around and leaning closer to Ziggy's ear. "Don't tell anypony, but I've been tutoring Pound Cake on using his wings..." He whispered. "Aha! I knew it!" Pinkie exclaimed from behind him, a somewhat annoyed look on her face. She poked Storm with a hoof. "It was hard enough to catch him when he was just starting to fly, I don't want you to make it worse mister!" She scolded him. Storm waved his hooves in front of him, "W-well somepony's gotta teach him flight safety! Don't want him to hurt himself after all..." He defended himself. Pinkie's eyes softened before she pulled him into another hug, "Aaaw~! I just can't stay mad at you Stormy!" She giggled.

"Awh, how cute. And good that you learn the little one to fly. Little Pegasi always wanna get to the sky, but it's really dangerous if they don't get taught, as they could hit something, or worse yet, get up too high, not knowing how to come down and then... Fall."

Ziggy let out a small meep at the horrible picture that was in her head. It wasn't hard for her to imagine, as she had done that once too back in her foal days, but it didn't make it any less scary, and who was to say if somepony managed to grab the itty bitty Pound Cake before it was too late? It could really hurt a small foal.

So she really thought it better that Storm taught the little one. Sure, it would not be easier to catch Pound Cake, but it would be safer, and what more really mattered? Sides, if they were afraid the foal would drift away, they could set up a spell ward like they had at the hospital. had done wonders to keep her inside.

She shook the images out of her head and looked at the couple again, perking up near instantly.

"Anyway, it's good that you both worry for the twins. It'll be good training for when you'll have your own bundles of joy. And I bet that with that much energy you both got, those foals are gonna be zooming around in no time."

A giggle escaped her mouth as she closed her eyes and imagined Pinkie frantically chasing a blue pegasus foal with pink mane and tail while Storm was trying to find a couple of others that had hidden in the drawers. And that was just a minor idea. With the genes they seemed to have, she bet it was just gonna be even more crazy.

Storm and Pinkie blushed heavily, "Y-yeah... Definitely.." Storm managed. Pinkie recovered from her own blush quickly, "That would be great!" Pinkie brought up a thought bubble in which she and Storm were teaching several foals everything they knew about the art of party.. The earth mare smiled, getting lost in her fantasy while Storm chuckled and kissed her on the cheek to snap her out of it. "Hmm?" Pinkie asked, coming out of the day-dream. "We've still gotta make sure Pumpkin and Pound don't get into too much trouble Pinkie..." He reminded her. "Oh yeah!" Pinkie exclaimed, dashing out of the room. Suddenly she dashed back to the room, pulling Storm into a kiss which fried his brain and ran back off to grab the twins. "Payback!" She shouted from the other room. Storm simply stared off into space as his brain began to reboot.

Ziggy waved her hooves in front of Storm's face.

"Wausau, he's really out there."

Last, who had been silently watching things for a bit, had noticed that as well. But considering the affection he just got before... Heh, it wasn't that surprising.

"He'll probably snap out of it again in a little.."

Ziggy tried a bit more, but it seemed that he wasn't responsive right now. Must have been one heck of a kiss to get him to this state, but then again, Pinkie seemed to be really full of energy so perhaps she'd just shorted a circuit somewhere... Eh, better let him stand for a bit and see if he went catatonic before doing anything to him. Might be time to look the other pony over she hadn't talked to.

"We'll wait and see. In the meantime..."

Like a little flash of lightning she was over at Last, who jerked a step back reflectively, which really wasn't getting her much away from the quick moving mare as she went around, stopping up here and there at odd angles and looked at her until finally stopping with her face close to Last's stomach, looking over the stitchings she got earlier.

Last wasn't focusing on where she looked as much as trying to figure out how a big pony like that moved around that quickly. She had small relatives who specialised in quick combat that wasn't near that, and it couldn't be like Storm's flight as there wasn't enough space in here for the mare to really spread out her large wings.

Ziggy didn't take any notice of that, just looked over the wound and squeezing her eyes together, looking at the small puncture wounds next to some of the stitches.

"Huh... Bad stitching first time it looks like. Better this one, but..."

A small light went on in her head and she straightened up again, sending a big grin towards last that was a good deal more composed than her thoughts would indicate.

"Whoops, hehe. Just wanted to be sure you were a-okay. Thought I saw some extra holes and was worried it was done shoddy. can't have that happen."

"Second time's the charm."

"Shouldn't have to be a second time, but oh well. All fine now so, hehe. Oh! I wonder if Storm's back yet."

Ziggy swung around and looked to where Storm had been last she had seen him. had been unfocused for a little so who knew if he had slipped off somewhere. Or were still standing in the same spot, in which case the catatonic part miiiiight have happened.

Storm blinked his multi-colored eyes as his mind slowly returned to Equestria. He managed a quiet, "Wow." Before shaking his head and looking around. He noticed Ziggy looking at Last's stitching and took a seat at the table nearest them before pulling out a pile of muffins from... Somewhere... and putting them on the table. Snatching one from the pile he began to happily nom on it. "What're you looking at Ziggy?" He asked curiously, since she had turned away from Last to look at the spot where Pinkie had kissed him.

The next day Mezra snuggled closer to Brittle so she  get more comfortable and not wake up. Her eyes kept opening even though she didn't want them to. But after a few minutes she groaned as she got of the makeshift bed. She left the cafe so she could let Brittle sleep. She walked over to a clear pond that was near the cave. She took her cloak, large spell book and bags off and flopped in. Meaning she just kept walking till she fell into the water.

Ziggy's head yanked up and to the side to where Storm was now, giving him a befuddled, then big smile.

"Oh, there you were. Welcome back. Sorta thought you miiight've sprung something in your head and gone static."

To show her point she made an exaggerated impression of Storm, standing stiff as a board with a long stare into nothing, mouth slightly open and a droplet of drool making it's way down to the side of her mouth.

She stopped before she actually began to drool on something and went into a small giggle before looking him over again, now noticing the mountain of cupcakes on his table. The look she sent him went from *Wauv* to *Uuuh, cupcakes!* before a light-bulb went off over her head (Figuratively,).

"Waaait a second. You didn't have the time to get in line, to the counter and then... Did you?"

Storm chuckled, a bit embarrassed by his 'freezing'  behavior before Ziggy asked about the muffins and cupcakes. "No, I just walked over here and put them on the table..." "Well, if you didn't get to the counter, then how did you get the muffins? Not like you could hide that many under your wings or... something..."

She sounded a bit hesitant near the end, as if her mind was starting to trail off and add some pictures of how he might have stashed them. Under the wings perhaps?. After all, just because she couldn't hide muffins under her wings without them getting sticky and there only being room for a few (mostly since she ate the rest.before she had the chance to try, but still) didn't mean that Storm couldn't. Oooh, or he had a secret room in his body perhaps? Pinkie squeezed him a little flat earlier, so perhaps he had some sort of pouch like a kangaroo? A Pegaroo?

The unbridled glee from the mental images made her space out with an open-mouthed, teeth-not-touching smile and a glittery look towards... Somewhere. It looked to be straight ahead, but there weren't focus on anything and when Last went over, raised herself up a little and waved a hoof in front of the frozen mare's face the focus didn't shift either.

"I'm just gonna go with Pinkie logic and not ask, but I think something about it broke this one."

She tried tapping her a few times, but all it did was make her sway a little. Perhaps tt would be better to just... Leave her be for now.

Storm nodded, "Pinkie usually foalsits them when the Cakes need to head out of town with an order. From what she told me, it was a real nightmare at first... But it got a lot better, and after the first day she was already happy to become their regular colt-sitter. She connected with them I guess." He replied with a smile. "And from time to time, well... Actually pretty often... Anyways, she has me help her with them sometimes, moreso since becoming her coltfriend. I don't mind of course, I'm always happy to help Pinkie and the two foals are adorable! Besides, like I said earlier, Somepony's got to teach Pound Cake proper flight safety now that he's zooming all over the place like he is." Storm explained. "I mean a pegasus foal going at topspeed during a game of tag or something could easily look back and end up running into a wall!" Here, he smacked his hooves together for emphasis. "That definitely wouldn't be a good thing."

Storm paused as he realized something, "You know, everypony was so surprised when the twins turned out to be a Unicorn filly and a Pegasus colt. I wonder what children between Pinkie and me would be...." He mused aloud before shaking his head. "Anyways, I was kind of surprised when the Cakes approached me with the request to teach their colt flight safety. I was already doing so at the time, whenever I helped Pinkie babysit, but it makes sense. The Cakes are both Earth Ponies after all, so it's hard for them to teach a pegasus foal everything he needs to know." Storm continued with a smile smile. "Honestly, I actually expected them to go to Rainbow Dash about it.. But I can see the logic there. RD is a speedster and while she does know, and can teach flight safety... She disregards it fairly often, minus the 'watch where you fly' part. Plus she'd probably have Pound Cake trying to do wing-ups by the end of the month..." He laughed.

"It's kinda how she is. But anyways, it is what it is.. And I'm very happy with what everything is right now." Storm finished, watching as Pinkie walked through the doors back into the room with two adorable foals hanging off her and a pleading look in her eyes. "Look, It's your uncle Stormy!" She exclaimed, pointing at her blue coltfriend. Both the twins perked up, and Pound cake immediately leapt towards the other pegasus while buzzing his little wings to fly at him. "Incoming Missile!" Storm joked, catching Pound Cake in mid-flight and setting the foal atop his head. "Pound cake, what have I told you about performing a flying tackle in the house?" He asked sternly. "Not Twoo..." Pound Cake replied, looking down. "Sowy Unca Stormy...." He apologized adorably. Storm smiled and ruffled Pound's mane a bit, "It's alright Pound, I'm just worried for your safety here. " He told the foal. "Hey Pinkie, I see you're back..." Storm said, turning to look at his marefriend with a smile. Pinkie smiled back, "Hey Stormy, I see you've thawed yourself out.." She joked, nuzzling his neck.

@,

Last put down the part about Rainbow Dash Storm said in a mental note. Seemed like if she was going to talk with that one of the remaining 5 of the six, she would have to try and wait until she was standing still rather than hunting for her. But that was all for later, for now, she'd just hang on to tthe titbit and work on from there when time came.

Besides, there was foals in the air now, literally. Or well, one foal at least. In any case, questions had to wait until later.

"Huh, so That's Pound Cake? Fast for a little one it seems."

She didn't really know what to do, but she tried to look interested between the pegasus foal, the couple and the last one who was still with pinkie. Last had never really hung around foals since back when she was a small bundle herself, and even then she tried to keep some distance to others of her age or below. She wasn't sure what it was, but there was just something about the small ones that made her feel on shaky grounds.

Sure, she could see it as the whole picture instead, with pinkie and Storm wandering around with two foals and looking like they'd got a *Family kit: Kids included.* package deal going, but focusing on the small bundles individually started to make her feel queasy.

Instead, Last had the look, nodded a little to herself, then turned slightly to see if the other one... Ziggy, right. She wanted to see if that one was still frozen somewhat, and from the looks of it, she was still a statue who's mind had gone to Lalaland without a return ticket.

She pondered things a few seconds before going over and stand at her side, then let out a deep sigh and mumbled a little.

"I just now I'm gonna regret this..."

With that she rose up on her hind legs and got as high up as she could, which wasn't That far off Ziggy's ears as it could be, and tried to snap her out of it.

"Hey Doc. Didn't you want to meet the foals?"

She had barely said the sentence before a glimmer of awareness came back into Ziggy's eyes and she turned her head to scan around. First she saw Last, who got a grin and a quick surprise hug before she let go of the earth pony - which made Last fall back but managed to turn around before she fell on the floor - then over the rest of the area.

There were unknown ponies, the counter, Storm with a foal on his head, Pinkie Pi- Wait what?

Moving so quick it looked like she just vanished from one spot to another, she was over at Stormy and Pinkie, though closest to the former and looked down on him. Or well, more specifically at the adorable little pegasus sitting on his head.

"Hello little one, that's having such fun. Unless I mistake, are you not Pound Cake? My name's Ziggy, I'm a friendly one see? And you little one, are as cute as can be."

Although the room in here wasn't much to work with, Ziggy still managed to spread her huge wings without hitting anypony and flap herself to be a little higher up, though still having her smiling, welcoming face near the little speedster that sat on Storm's head. She had the biggest eagerness to fly around in ziggy-zag circles around the adorable little thing, but there wasn't room for her to do that in here. Perhaps Storm would have been able to, but she was too big to try it without ending up knocking somepony down, and no matter how much she almost squealed in glee inside, she wouldn't hurt anypony if she could help it.

While this went on, Last brushed her right shoulder off a bit from some dust there had been there when she had almost taken a dive and looked the situation over for now. Unless she was being talked to specifically, it would seem that this one were plenty enough for now.

When the second foal floated over she couldn't hold back a meep of joy at seeing the two itty bitty smiley faces look up at her.

"Another rhyme? Well that's all fine, for two cute foals, it can be one of my goals. But of what should I say, when speaking this way? Or is anything good and fine and okay?"

She went a little closer, looking between the two of them with her hooves in front of her mouth for a little to hold back a girlish giggle.

"A foal with strong wings, one with magical horn, of all the fun things you can get when you're born. To fly through to air as free as a bee, or be strong of the mind, and impress all that see. Magic and flying, two gifts out a three, lucky small foalsies, you certainly be."

She went a little closer to Pumpkin Cake and got a few extra notches to her grin.

"And you're really good, for one of your age, to float through the air, with ease and with grace. Not many of magic, I see that does that, and if I had one, I'd take off my hat."

She made a movement like she was taking off a hat and giving a deep bow to the small one before making a salto and ending upside down with her head turned towards Pound Cake, somehow not falling down despite technically breaking the laws of gravity.

"I bet you'll be fast, like a thunder up high, the fastest little pony, to soar through the sky. With Storm at the gear, to learn you some tricks, you'll be zooming around, as light as a wisp."

She flew closer, still upside down and yet somehow getting higher up so her head was near his and she pretended to whisper to him, though speaking in a normal voice.

"And try to be quiet, and you might with some luck, sneak up on Pinkie, with a big surprise hug."

She placed her hooves up to her mouth again, giggling with almost closed eyes. It was fun to talk with the little

The two little foals were now applauding like mad, enjoying the rhymes a great deal. The Cake twins stopped and looked at each other for a moment before nodding and turning towards Ziggy. With big grins on their muzzles they both jumped from their perches and tackled Ziggy, giggling joyfully.

Pinkie giggled at the sight before climbing onto Storm's back and curling up for a quick nap. Storm was chuckling slightly as well, amused by the two foals and Ziggy. When the two foals tackled her, Ziggy played dutifully surprised, rolling slowly like a screw when the two had a good grip, ending with her on her back in the air again, wings flapping near the two little rascals as she looked at them with a big grin.

"Oh what can I do, when caught by you two? Not a chance have I had, but hey, it's not bad, considering you two are quite cool and rad."

She took her hooves up and ruffled through their manes slightly, flying like she was waving in the air, giving the foals a layer to sit on (her) that went up and down like a long line of hills. She would have taken them on a ziggy-zag zinger tour, but considering where they were, that would have to wait for another time.

"Waving up, and waving down, going on the merry-go.round."

The ceiling at least had some space before she would hit it, so she started to fly in a spiral going from near the floor, to near the loft and so forth in a slow motion, making sure to keep the foals secured on her, and not letting them fall down. It was fun to do a *fall, then catch* but hey, had to save something for another time, right?

Seeing Pound Cake rise up and looking like he was surfing on her made Ziggy gigle, and after a few spins, she returned to the waving, but this time, she flew slowy around in a little circle whilst making a sound like waves rolling on the sea. It wasn't very high, but hopefully it would give Pound Cake a little more amusement, and Pumpkin seemed to like to antics as well, so who would really loose here?

Last looked at the ponies. Pinkie were resting on Storm's back, and Ziggy were entertaining the little ones with weird little shows in the air, making them giggle with rhymes and now having gone over to play a living piece of ocean after Pound had tried to surf her.

It looked pretty peaceful to be honest. Doc had a better grasp on kids than she had thought, and it left Pinkie with some time to conk out a bit whilst Storm could keep an eye on things. Sure, there were still some breaking of the laws of physics considering how Ziggy was waving and flying, but at this point, Last was started to get a little jaded towards those things from an overload of Pinkie logic, and it made her think of this as relatively normal.

It had also given her a chance to get to the desk and get another muffin whilst things had been going on from the replacement clerk after Pinkie had needed to handle the twins. She had returned to her spot after and watched things as they unfolded. Not her usual choice of show, but there was something relaxing over this, at least for now, and the doctors had said she should take it easy. This was likely the best chance of that happening anytime soon.

Ziggy looked down at the munching Pumpkin cake, then at Storm.

"Are you sure? It looks kinda tasty."

With that, she turned and bit into a corner of it herself and started to munch a little while sending Pumpkin a big smile. The foal wasn't near any of the pockets yet, and her vest wasn't made from thin paper, so there wasn't any alarm really. Yet, after a few seconds Ziggy let go of her corner and looked towards the two foals.

"Chewy and eewy, not soft as a feather, what would you say, if I found something better?"

She giggled at the two, then turned her head upwards - or since she was on her back currently, downwards for others - and looked at Stormy with the sleeping Pinkie on his back.

"Aaawh, so adorable."

The sight of Pinkie using Storm's wings as a sort of blanket was really a sweet sight to see, but she tried to not get too caught in it. She had something to ask after all.

"A-n-y-way, think you could say, what Pumpkin can chew on on a regular day? If it's not cause she's hungry, then the action is clear, but if she's massaging her gums, is there anything dear? A plushie, a toy, or perhaps something clicking? Maybe a blanket, or with luck, a rubbery chicken?"

Ziggy wasn't sure what time the foals were supposed to eat, but she knew that some liked to chew all sorts of things because it helped their gums, usually because there were teeth growing in and it soothed things. Then again, there Were the kind that just liked to chew on things, so she couldn't be sure. Hence, one of the reasons she asked Storm.

@@Gloomfury,

"Quite so, thank you for asking."

Briar stretched the vine to his mouth and took another chunk of fish, leaving now only the last fourth of it while he savoured his breakfeast, eventually sending it down to the rest of the pieces.

"I had honestly thought it would take longer for one of you to wake up though, so I slacked with my duties as a host somewhat and went for a minor meal before finding something for you two to enjoy. I know it sounds somewhat selfish, but not everypony is... Comfortable, with seeing me eating.

I apologise for this unthoughtful action, but now that you are awake, is there anything in particular you would find enjoyable? I seem to recall the smell of berries not far from here, and some sort of fruit smell from up high a little further out. If I gather up a few things while you finish your swim, would that be acceptable for the time being?"

He didn't know how many berries there were, but it would matter little. He had his ways of growing what he would need, and perhaps a little more even, so it would not be an issue. Trees were a little harder, but it could be handled as well. It just took a little more... Effort, so to speak.

Storm shook his head with a small smile before holding out a teething-ring towards Ziggy. "Here give her this, it's her favorite. The Cakes bought it a while back because... Well... She chews on everything, so something specifically made for chewing does a good job of keeping her occupied."
