where is this and when is this, i need a location to start posting

It's set in Dodge Junction (the town the mane 6 visit in The Last Roundup). This is the town where everyone is located and the trial will take place. The actual murder occurred in the Badlands, which is a desert-like area south of Dodge Junction (the Badlands haven't appeared in the show, but it can be seen in the official map of Equestria).

 

How exactly is the evidence going to make itself into the court record as most of the evidence Shadowhide found hasn't gone in? Will the evidence have to be given to one of the defense attorneys?

The answer to that is I've been super lazy. I'm now updating the court record with what Shadowhide's found so far. The way I intend to do it is I just add things to the court record as I see anything noteworthy throughout the RP. If I don't add something you think I should've added, let me know here and I'll do it.

The RP has been getting a bit slow lately. I have been rather slow and busy lately, so sorry about that. However, I also think part of the reason is that some roles don't give people much to do outside of the trial, such as the judge's role. How about if things really slow down, we just skip right ahead to the trial?

Well, i dont really mind the waiting, but i guess a skip to the trial would speed things up. How about no one finds anything new and do general things the the rest of the day/pos. Then the day ends, and the trial begins the next day?

I just wanted to put the idea out there. I don't want to do it yet. I was thinking we'd only skip after most of us agree the RP has gotten slow enough that it's the best option, or the RP has gotten so slow that it seems it'll become dead otherwise.

 

Hopefully, it won't come to that and we can play out the investigation day entirely.

I do have a question: how exactly do multiple prosecutors/defense attorneys  work? 

 

EDIT: I`ve re-read the past few pages, and I`ve decided that the Prosecutor;s side is a little... bare. I`ve chosen to bring Vincent Stormwalker (in my sig). I`ll change around his backstory for the RP, but it should work fairly well...

 

BTW, since Jolt will be gone for a few days and we're about to start the court scene, will I be going in alone than? Perhaps he can come back in during a recess?

To clarify some of your other queries: The multiple defense attorneys and prosecutors will work just like how Phoenix often stands in court alongside Maya or someone else who helps him. It's just in this case, there are even more people on the defense's side, and it also applies to the prosecution's side. By the way, the assistant role is currently for the prosecutor's side, not the defense's side. So with you joining the prosecution, it leaves us with three people on each side, which is nice and even!

I don't think we're about to start the trial soon. It still seems like there's a lot we can do for the investigation. When I was talking about skipping to the trial, that was only putting forward a potential option for a worst case scenario; I only want to do that if the RP becomes extremely slow and appears to be dead, or if most people say that they want to skip ahead. That said, if we do end up starting the trial very soon, that sounds like a good option.

 

One last thing: I've created a 'profiles' section in the court record for a quick bio of everyone's character. I've asked everyone to write a bio for their own OC, since no-one knows your OC better than yourself. Could you write a quick bio for Vincent that I can put into the court record?

Alright, thanks for the warning. We're still in the investigation, so I don't think this will affect much now.

 

 

 

One more thing for everyone, during the RP ShadowKing58 said 'Defendants Testimony added to Court Record.' This was really helpful, since it told me exactly what to add to the court record. If you reveal something you want me to add to the court record, saying something like that would be the best way to do it.
