Croaks 251 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 So every year, I start of having awesome grades. But towards the end, it sort of just slowly drops. I assume this is just due to laziness. For example, I was great in Language Arts, but earlier I had a horrible grade. So now, I'm doing a whole bunch of extra-credit crap. This happen to anypony else? 1 http://pilot-croaks.deviantart.com/
Akemi Homura 7,680 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 That used to happen to me back in the 6th grade, but I just started focusing more on school rather than goof off all the time. While I did procrastinate a lot still, I simply attempted to try harder in school and in due time, I got good marks that year. Grades have been good ever since with the exception of 7th grade which I sorely disliked towards the end... feel free to ask me about it!
Marcusaralius76 150 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 It happens to me every semester at college. Part of it is that the classes get harder and cover harder concepts in the latter half of the year. Also, after mid-semester, I tend to slip up a bit because the ideas of "what else could I be doing right now" tend to slip through my mind and I start doing more drawing/writing/gaming rather than studying. Sageflare 277 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 Back when I was in school Procrastination was my profession. I wouldn't do any homework until the last minute. I still had good grades but my parents often wondered why I never did homework. But it is the second semester that really gets you when you have harder subjects to go through. TOMahwk 351 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 Senioritis... I had straight A's this year, now I have 3 A's, 1 C, 2 B's. If I get A's in a class for both quarters I don't have to take the finals. So far I know I have to take 3 of mine Senioritis just happens naturally. I have 35 more days of school till graduation. If I survive it... it'll be a miracle "In the end it all comes down to just how far we can slide" V Check out my Artwork at V http://tomahwk94.deviantart.com/

Strafe 594 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 It happens to everyone, It's really stressful to keep the same average throughout the year. "The Gods envy us. They envy us because we’re mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we’re doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again." D1SC0RD 987 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 It doesn't really happen to me too often. My marks take a slight dip after exams (by 2-5 points), and maybe after a test or major project (by 1-3 points) but other than that, they don't change easily. However, I stress-the-fuck-out whenever they drop because it is pretty hard to raise them back to their original state. Oh well though! Just serves as motivation to work hard, or at least harder XD. Rainboom24 46 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 my grades are steadily declining. i'm sure if i just put the tiniest of effort into it they would pop back up again, but then i wouldn't be able to keep my amazing reputation of extreme laziness. Jay6 29 March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 I remember back in high school, from Grades 10 through 12, my grades were pretty awesome all year round. HOWEVER, for whatever reason, I decided I'd take Calculus and Physics... all in my last semester. Those two courses brought my marks down quite a bit, but I tried my hardest through those courses. I mean, damn. I guess one thing I could say is keep trying! If you feel you're falling behind, never give up. Look over things again, work your heart out, and then... when you graduate, you can work at some crappy fast food place, or you could go ahead and take a college course in hopes for a full career in something (highly recommended) before you lose your mind to some crappy job.
