Halloween 2 was weird (I think you're talking about the Rob Zombie in it), and it had Weird Al in it. Now, I am a hardcore weird al fan, but this, this was a bit crazy.

Lol yeah it was a bit strange but I like the character development he made with Laurie Strode, it was interesting to see her (in the end) becoming like her brother.

Well, I very much like Timothy Hines' 2005 adaptation of H.G. Wells' The War Of The Worlds. Sure its effects aren't great but its a low budget, independent film so they didn't have access to any of the state of the art stuff. I really enjoyed the actors, especially Anthony Piana, who does a great job as the Journalist. The Martians in this version are really cool(right up there with the Martians seen in Jeff Wayne's musical version) and fairly accurate to Wells' novel. Jamie Hall's score just fits it perfectly, it has a very somber feel to it and also manages to nail a very menacing feeling as well.

Also, Hines managed to keep the book's original setting - Victorian era England, while every other adaptation of TWOTW changed the setting to fits the time it was made and usually switches the setting to America.

So all-in-all, Hines' take on H.G. Wells' War Of The Worlds is severely underrated and its very hard to get DVDs of it nowadays thanks to Spielberg throwing a fit and trying to keep DVDs of Hines' version from being imported.

I don't watch enough movies to really be able to comment on this....

Also, a lot of movies I rewatch or watch are like 10+ years old, so I am not sure if people love it or hate it...

like a recent movie i rewatched was Joe Dirt...I don't what people think of it...

I frickin' love Spider-Man 3, Star Wars Episode III, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. They're all works of art, in my opinion. =3

Also, I think Timothy Dalton's portrayal of Bond was the best by far, its the closest to what Ian Fleming had in mind(thanks to Dalton reading all of Fleming's books when he got the role.)
