Basic Summary

You wake up to find yourself not in your bed, and your room isn't there, you're just laying on a cold, metal surface in pitch darkness. Suddenly, bright flood lights reveal the room you're in, it's a strange one by any means. White concrete walls, white metal floors, white concrete ceiling with various items scattered around the room including white metal chairs with no cushion, "magazines" with absolutely no ink on it, just white sheets of magazine paper. Then, something else catches your eye, various other ponies scattered across the room, all completely white except their irises, their fur and mane obviously bleached or dyed. Then, the music catches your ear, it's lobby music, only with the slight twitch in the music at irregular intervals. Only two things become quickly obvious, this is someponies' sadistic experiment, and you have to get out before you are driven insane...

 

 

General Info

This RP will be focused on you trying to escape a sadistic experiment, or go insane trying. Everyone will start off with a certain amount of "sanity points" which will be based on your OC's background and general info (don't try to purposely make your OC have as much as possible, I will realize what you're doing and deny the character sheet), and depending on your actions, sanity points will be slowly deducted from your total, once you hit 0, your OC has been rendered insane and must act accordingly, and your OC must also act like the slow removal of sanity is actually happening. (Oh, and if you think by doing nothing will save you, think again, I will remove points for that.) You and your fellows have 3 days to find their way out before dehydration kills your character (unless you find water, which can be done if you're creative enough). Oh, and there may be one or two former "subjects" who went insane long ago you may have to contend with.

HOWEVER, don't go thinking it's a one way street down the path of insanity, certain actions and places can arrest and even reverse the process, and good choices by the characters might even be able to save those driven to insanity from their living hell and bring them back to sanity. You may even find a way to find the ones responsible for your capture and well...the rest is up to you.

 

 

Rules

#1: Be kind and courteous. If other RPers or I point out your behavior isn't all that great, don't be a stubborn ol' mule and just listen, mmmkay? That way our experience can be loads better!

#2: Please don't put your OCs in purposely high positions of power unless you got a backstory to back it up, but "high ranking noble pony"? Not allowed. Same goes with alicorns. Sorry, I've had nothing but bad experience with that.

#3: Use your common sense with things.

#4: Try to stay realistic, please don't dodge traps and stuff because "you can". Any normal pony that finds themselves stuck in a room with a bunch of soldiers obviously isn't going to find a way out. (Yes, I've had that happen to me in the past)

#5: Obviously follow all site, rp, blah blah blah rules, self explanatory.

#6: I reserve the right to boot you out of the RP at any time for not following the rules or not listening to others, however, I likely will not resort to this unless you ignore me or other users multiple times and keep doing bad stuff that's detrimental to the RP. Also, in the same vein, if I approve your character here but end up not liking how powerful or something they are in RP, I can and will request you drop the character and make a new one.

#7: This one is super duuuuper important so listen close. ...Clooooser! Clooooooooosseeer! Here it is; Have Fun! After all, it is an RP! We're all here to have fun right? So try to have fun! (just don't ruin other people's fun with your fun, that isn't so fun)

Can we enter multiple characters? I didn't see any mention of that in the rules, but maybe I'm just blind.

Also, would a dominatrix OC be acceptable? Obviously she wouldn't be doing anything that'd break the site rules, but some people don't like it.

Sweet. Loveless it is. I just need to make a bit of a backstory for her and update her image, but the rest of the information should be covered there.

It's in the future, though, and doesn't really alter anything in present-day Equestria...

 

But, if you want, I can just hash out a quick alternate backstory for her.

Question. How do you want us to start our first post. The intro left us a good amount of room for guess work and guess work isn't exactly good for a starting post.
