Mythbusters: MLP episode?

If there was a Mythbusters special episode featuring MLP myths, which ones would they test?

IMO:

- If a horse lays back tied to a fully-loaded carriage into a hole, would it flip in the top? (As seen in "Applebuck Season")

- If a conveyor belt at high speed loaded with cherries suddenly stops, would the cherries get shot? (As seen in "The Last Roundup")

- Can a carriage crashing at high speed demolish an entire barn? (As seen in "The Apple Family Reunion")

This would have to be a tongue in cheek or satirical episode, but it would be extremely fun to watch.

I would like to see them test the 'Water Funnel' that has to be made in Hurricane Fluttershy. Try and determine the Pegasus power needed to actually create that sort of water spout.   -_-

Or How much force is needed to buck apples from a tree, and can it be done without damaging the tree. :toldya:

No. The point of balance is very difficult to be reached and it relies on the horse being static.

Yes, if it was going fast enough. It's the inertia principle.

Yes, if it hit an important support pillar.

If you want to test a myth on Mythbusters, your myth needs to have one thing: explosions. So we could test if a Sonic Rainboom is actually possible.

You're probably right, but Applejack wasn't static and still.

But there's still the question: Would they get any elevation or just go forward?

Yes, if it hit an important support pillar.

We're talking about a carriage, not a car, nor a truck, a carriage! A carriage pulled by two horses and loaded with passengers, which makes the question if would it be powerful enough. Also the barn was hit in the center, if there were six pillars there would still be 4, the question is if they would remain up.

Or at least demolish the barn with a truck loaded with explosives if the carriage itself doesn't do the job.

At least those are my theories about that.

I would love an MLP-themed Mythbusters episode! They've done great "themed" episodes in the past (superheros, Breaking Bad, etc) and an MLP one would be great now that they're both under the Discovery brand.

Carriage crashing at high speed demolishing an entire barn is 0% possible in OUR world.

MLP is not owned by Discovery. Its owned by Hasbro :) Discovery just owns more of the network then Hasbro now so they changed the name and some programming.

I would say pinkie pie /thread

If it was myth busters conducting a special MLP based episode, you can bet your bottom dollar they'd be taking a look at that double rainboom. Though I don't think myth busters really apply to cartoons, It'd be interesting to see other phenomenon from cartoons other than MLP thrown in with it.
