it's from a site that runs these games frequently. You get the general rundown. I approve of it as a legit source. (Feel free to read about other things, as well.)

 

After doing some calculations, I have decided to use the following roles: (READ IT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T!!!)

 

1 Mafia Goon

1 Mafia Roleblocker

1 Town Doctor

1 Town Cop

5 Vanilla Townies

If you can commit (It's somewhat lenient, you should be posting AT LEAST daily) to this (It can go on for a month,) than feel free to join.

Just as a note, we've had Mafia-style games pop up in Roleplaying World before, and there's no problem with it. As long as there is a way for posts to be 'In Character' it still counts. The characters might be throw-a-way and not meant to be continued in other venues, but they still can be characters. Unlike the 'Equestrian Empire' subsection there's no requirement for characters to be fully fleshed out or even entered in the Character Database for posts in the regular Roleplays subsection.

I wish I could, but I've got a lot of stuff weighing me down at my day job, night job, RPs I'm already in, plus as staff here, so I can't guarantee being able to participate enough to put my name down. So I just thought to throw in an official 'Yes, you can play Mafia in this section, if you do it in a RP-kind-of-way' so you didn't feel compelled to move to Forum Games or to PMs.
