I spend my day working on trivial tasks or royal duties, and what portal are you talking about? The one to the human world or the 'cake is a lie' portals if you get my meaning.

Oh, do ponies think Im immortal? Quite the contrary we alicorns just live very long lives. Though throughout my long life I have had to deal with the deaths of many friends, its something I cant get over even now. I guess what keeps me going is my duty to rule over my little ponies for as long as I can
