searching The Missing Pony

Concept:

 

Wi-Fi, the pegasus colt and a techno-geek, was unable to find his close friend, Fire Blaze, after his mysterious dissapearance. After his failed search for Fire Blaze, all seemed hopeless for the pegasus pony, but upon arrival at Ponyville after his long journey has gained him enough confidence to look for Fire Blaze once again, with his latest technology. However, even a technological expert would need help for somepony, as his search for his closest friend is anywhere but simple.

Rules:

 

1. No "Mary Sue" characters.

 

2. If you try to break the game you will be banned and I will find a replacement.

 

3. No trolling.

 

4. Intentionally screwing things up for other players will get you banned.

 

5. No swearing in character, unless you use "flying feather" "hay" and other ponyisms.

 

6. No godmodding

 

7. Wait until there are at least three more posts before your own

Sure, no problem.

One thing that may pose a problem is the idea that posts must be in a certain order. Trust me, I RP on a lot of other sites, and these babies are always down in a flash as members aren't active all the time. Maybe instilling a rule such as "wait until there are at least three more posts before your own" or something may speed up the process.

The other thing is that you should expand your concept so people know exactly what they're expected to do.

Alright. Finsished rewording the concept and added an extra rule like you suggested. took me a bit long to re-write the Concept, but I hope it makes more sense now.

My apologies, as this is the first time I have started an RP discussion of it. I could fix it, although I'm feeling tired after re-wording the Concept and adding an extra rule. I'll see if I can try and fix it tomorrow, though I might need some help on fixing it.

Posting will be done at least once a day, also posting will go in order from first to last on the list. If a pony hasn't posted for a day the next pony in line can post, unless otherwise noted by me.

 

That will get annoying really fast. As a previous user stated, people have lives and cant be on every day to post. There will be someone that would have time to come on and read a post, but not have time to make a post themselves. They get an idea for what they want to do with their post, come back, and they get left in the dust? I have never had a Successful RP where that's been done and I've been RPing for 14 years.

 

I don't know if that was something you forgot to take out after stated to wait for three posts or what. Also, whats the Literacy level of this RP? I can't see the posting style because the link is broken. Is this an Advanced RP, Moderate RP, or Simple RP? (Simple meaning one to two line posts, Moderate meaning about a paragraph in length or Advanced meaning multiple Paragraphs in a post)

 

Also, as someone asked? Are we supposed to be friends with Fire Blaze? I understand this is your first rp, but what reason would anypony have to go after him if he wasn't a friend?

Ah, I see. Since I'm a starter, I would say that the RP is simple.

hmm, I haven't done many Simple RPs, as I never really figured out how to do short, It will probably take me a couple posts to get used to, but sure, I'll throw Ice Storm in here. Given her back story, she'd actually be perfect for this. Also, your base concept was a good concept. You just need to flesh it out. A good way to do that, is to ask yourself why. If you can ask yourself "why" about a concept, and you put a logical reason to answer that "why" question in the concept, then it will have more depth.
