I didn't mean hang out with them at the same time, I meant hang out with them separately and gauge their interests and personality on an individual basis. As for why many people aren't voting/commenting, it's probably because this is a weird and awkward question to be asked. I mean, if it was between someone your age and someone significantly older, then that'd be an interesting question since you'd have to consider how their age would affect their interests, cultural views, how whether others would accept the relationship (and whether you care about that), etc, but when it's so short (i.e. freshman to senior) it just comes off as shallow and arbitrary. Just take them out for coffee or something, don't commit to start dating them right-away. Be honest, let them know you're interested but still looking around, and pick the one your gut goes with. I'm talking to the girl I have a crush on instead, no matter how many friends she's surrounded by.
