Steve is good, assuming that his job would be in robotics, but how would Abby's job be useful in an experimental journey through space?

She's like that one annoying sibling that everyone has in a family that has to tag along for everything, but she also partially helps Steve with robotics. (i.e. Sorting parts, building circuits, etc.  But she cannot put something together by herself.  She would help Steve build circuits while he assembled the whole robot/animatronic and program it.)

Plus, she is only 17, so she isn't legally an adult yet, and Steve is the only family that she has.

However, your character is probably old enough to live on her own by equestrian standards. Also, the initial post states that only the best qualify for the mission.

Ah, I missed that on the first post.  And I was thinking about it in terms of human standards,. (I really need to get back to equestrian standards) So if Abby is old enough in equestrian standards, then she is coming along as an assistant for Steve. (who also happens to be his little sister)

Steve sounds like a useful repair pony. I don't think we have animatronics onboard the ship. But perhaps he can help with engineering?

The dimensions that have been given numbers are all spatial dimensions; time is the temporal dimension. Although some theories say that time is the fourth dimension, many others suggest that there are more than three spatial dimensions and therefore time is separate.

There is no 1st dimension, nor second, nor third.  That's our space.  We discovered that time is a dimension making it the 4th (we found) hypercubes would be 5th. 

 

We're arguing semantics (at best) and my character shares my semantics.
