Star looked toward the goldish pony holding the tablet, rather curious about his disposition.

"I'm assuming you'll be our surveyor?" She asks.

 

Gizmo sat in silence, his demeanor having been brittled, he doesn't mean for such hyperactivity he just wanted to be seen as a rather bubbly character.

Gold nooded as he selected the moon showing other minor stats that wasn't really important at the time. "Yes I have training in all sort of servey missions and mining the like." He gave a freind smile to Star as he keeps browning "So what your role again?"

After hearing what Sinu had said, Abby leaned over and whispered something into Steve's ear then returned to listening to her music.  Steve looked like he remembered something important, which he addressed to Sinu.

 

"Thanks to Abby, she reminded me that what I told you was how I thought the connection worked."  Steve took a deep breath and cleared his throat before continuing.  "After doing about a three months worth of research, I figured out that what was powering my arm was the electricity generated and used by my heart and brain, but it was a miniscule amount."  "So, I did what research I could, but nopony had every been in the case that I was in, so I started recording as much as I could."  "But the main gist of this is that my arm is very confusing and fragile, but while being fragile, it is pretty durable."  "So you really shouldn't be concerned about it."  Steve was finished with his rambling on about his arm and how it works.  Then he added, "I noticed that you're pretty interested with electronics, if you ever want to know a bit more, maybe even make something of your own, just stop by my living quarters and I'll be happy to assist you with anything involving electronics!"  And with that said, Steve got up and collected the animatronic kitten and shut it down before putting it away.

"Looks like we could working together then." He says happily. Whilst not mind working alone, it's always good to have helping hooves.

Ginger felt very bored when all the pony ignored him.

So he just sat in a chair and closes his eyes and doesn't want to be interrupted.

 

There having a great time , well can't blame them. Then he fell asleep and ginger ignored them also.

⁂ Sinu explains to Steve; "I've been fascinated with robotics for all of my life, but I could never seem to fully understand the electronic circuitry, so I instead focused on inventing things with nonelectrical mechanics. My dad was a skilled bike mechanic, and he taught me a lot of things. When I was a colt, I used to rummage through the bins of broken or discarded bike parts to be recycled, and I had a lot of fun experimenting with them." He pulls out his Polypad and displays a picture on it; "This is something I made when I was fifteen; it's a claw that can be operated by moving the muscles in one hoof, operated with bike chains and gears."

Steve looked towards Gizmo and nodded, "Probably, what kind of mechanics do you work with?" 

 

Abby starts humming a tune that sounds something like 'Swing Tavi Swing'  (

Steve looks back towards Sinu, listening to what he had to say then looking at the contraption that he made when he was fifteen.  Nodding his head he replies, "Very interesting, after seeing the contraption that you made, I think you'll be interested in some of the items that I have made myself, but, that can wait until we get to the frigate."  Steve looks towards Star Chaser and asks, "So, since you'll be flying the frigate, after we arrive at our destination, when will we be boarding and when is our departure?"

Gizmo smiles, "Well, in general I'll be doing everything. Like said in my lovely little interview I'm multiclass. So I might work upon a fission reactor, or on a computer console, and even our gravity generators." He names off a few.

 

Star awaited to speak, "Well first I've gotta go through prep procedure. Then I'll have to go over the new update specs and stuff, see the FTL Commands. As for departure time that depends how long Traffic Control keeps us." she says.

Steve nods at both, Star Chaser and Gizmo. 

 

"Well, I don't work on that kind of stuff, Gizmo." 

 

Turing towards Star Chaser, "Alright, that's understandable, but when do the rest of us board, get settled into the frigate and whatnot."  "And just how large is the frigate?"

"Again, when traffic control says so. And.... Wow I use to remember this by hearty uhhh... " she scratches her head.

"Damn... Uhhh... This tram is ... 13 feet? That's also fighters height uhhh.... " she continues to think about for a good estimate, she decides on a simple answer.

"It's large, not orbital station large, but close to hangar size you get what I mean ?" She asks

Steve ponders the size comparisons for a moment then nods his head in understanding.

 

"Ok, I understand you."  Steve pauses for a moment, "Well... That is a really big ship..."

 

Steve pulled out a small robotic kit that he'd been working on for the majority of the trip, and starts to finish it.

Gold Rush listen idly to the conversation a he flipped through files.  To be honest he wasn't the bst social type, he suaul worked by himelf unless he was in a group survey mission.  "you know as long as our crew quaters aren't the size of brom closets i'll be good."

Paradoxical continues to interview the crew and his smile becomes more forced with (almost) every interview.  "These ponies take themselves too seriously for interesting videos." he grouses to himself.

 

Water Biscuit sits quietly to herself, checking to make sure that all of the seedlings in her care are healthy.  She quietly sings "Hush Now" to the plants as she places them back into the main case.

An important question came up to Stars mind. Who was the gunner? As with all carrier class ships it's important to know your gunners.

 

"Hey? Anypony seen our gunner?" She asks looking around curiously for the pony, or if anypony would answer up to get request.

the train began to slow down, infront of them was a large compound, the train pulled up inside the compound and stopped inside, and the doors to the train opened, the older pony from before was standing outside "Welcome to the current residing place of the TH-160 DELTA, it hasnt been given a proper name yet, so I'll leave that to you" behind him was the massive ship in all its glory "It has two methods of FTL, the first being those massive engines you see there, they are good for short range travel, like inside a solar system, however for longer ranges, we have a worm hole generator there at the front, you can go hundreds of light-years away in just a few days, however keep in mind once you leave the solar system we will have no way of contacting you," he starts walking, motioning for the rest to follow "Its a standard TH-160 but with the aforementioned FTL technology, it also has a science and research lab, a work station, larger lounge station, a larger kitchen, and more comfortable crew quarters, theres also a garden, just incase your food stores run out, like the standard TH-160, there are re-breather units as long as you scrub the carbon off them periodically, youll never worry about running out of air, same with water, all water is recycled then purified and put back in the system, so youll never have to worry about running out of water, now before we go inside the ship for the inside tour, any questions so far?"

⁂ After a while, the conversations had died down, and Sinu had been sitting alone for the rest of the tram ride, watching the conversations from afar. As the tram stops of the station, he silently pulls is bags out from under the seats, and exits through the doors that have just opened. Standing there, listening to somepony giving a basic description of the ship, he sighs as he sees a pony that he has known for far too long. "Edge, what are you doing here?"

⁑ Edge replies; "Well, you're the god damn genius; figure it out!"

⁂ "I didn't see you on the tram, and you won't even on the crew list."

⁑ "I've been here for a few days. The gun pony on the list got sick or something, probably throwing up all over, and then a whole bunch of the ponies will need to come in carrying towers of buckets and crap. And then–"

⁂ Sinu cuts him off and says, a bit annoyed, "Edge, seriously. Please shut up."

⁑ "Stay away from the microwave."

⁂ "Stop giving me a hard time about that, that was several years ago."

⁑ "Yeah, and you're still a nerd. Look, is that your stupid saxophone thing? I'm going to make you drop that case, and you'll be sitting in the corner crying over there."

⁂ Sinu sighs, and ignores him.

With the tram now at a halt Gizmo and Star retrieve their belongings.

"Finally!" Gizmo says in his childish excitement his luggage levitated by his magic horn.

Star looked up as they entered the hangar bay.

Her bewilderment grew giving a slight satisfied expression. It's no fighter, obviously, but she'll get the job done.

With Star catching word about the gunner pony, she assumed this would be our substitute. She approached forward to him.

"Sorry to interrupt. Just wanting to meet our gunner. You familiar with this kind of defense platform?" She asked

 

During combat situations, her training involved a good cooperative relation between the pilot and the gunner. Always needing to relay information and coordinate together.

Steve and Abby gathered their things and followed everypony out of the tram.  They looked around at all the things to look at.  Then, Steve decides to ask a question.

⁂ Sinu just puts his face in his hooves.

⁑ Edge continues with a humorously exaggerated tone; "And what the hay is a defense platform? I just go to space and shoot stuff, then blow it up, then make it explode all over the everything."
