I wrote this on my page, venting about the stupid controversy about Princess Twilight Sparkle's alicorn power up.

"I know not everyone is going to agree with my take on this one, but for the aforementioned filler and multiple episodes problem of certain kinds of shonen anime, I actually enjoy watching battles in cartoons like My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and DCAU's Justice League a lot more and I find their conflicts more engaging or relatable. I am not entertained by the abuse of power ups for the sake of escalating drama. That problem does not exist in MLP FIM, even with Alicorn power ups, it's only one transformation, whatever, get over it, Twilight Sparkle is an Alicorn, who cares."

Good idea, DVD R's are useful. If my My Little Pony Friendship is Magic official DVD's are region 1 I could use my PC to make an artificial DVD for personal use to bypass the region restrictions to then playback on my Playstation 2. I know people who design DRM don't want us doing that, but we paid for these copies, why sell region 1 DVD's in the UK if they're not going to work on our players? makes no sense.

I was commenting about what a thoughtful community this is, I'm not joking when I say this, I think, potentially, the positivity of the community here has saved lives. People here actually encourage getting help when they see individuals struggling with mental health problems.

I was watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Zordon actually gave them reasonable directives to follow as a condition for them to keep their powers

1) Never use their powers for personal gain

2) Never escalate a battle unless Rita forces them to

3) Keep identities secret

Apart from the cringy acting, I think the series is good, the story makes it watchable with some of the finest battle music I've heard in fiction.

Just thinking about how My Little Pony FIM episode Over a Barrel was so cute

Honestly the fact that they came to a compromise to live peacefully with Buffalo and make a path through the apple farm for them to stampede through, really tells me there is something inherently good about Mane Six and their friends or associates they share the world with. And this reminds me why I love the show so much.

I understand there was a fight before the compromise took place, however Ponies living in that town worked hard to build what they did there, and they needed their apple plantation to survive. Applejack had a valid point about this, and I don't blame her pointing this out to Rainbow Dash.
