How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I was curious to see if the show was any good so I streamed the first episode of MLP on my computer and I was hooked I had to see Twilight Sparkle and her friends were going to save Princess Celestia! And when I got home, the Mega-mare-athon came on tv, and I recorded (almost) every episode. I've been a brony ever since!
