Cryssi pulled a sad face and pouted a little when Elegron said what he did, but she understood his desire to be with his mare. "Go on then. Go with your mare. You deserve some time together given the circumstances." She sat pouting a bit, Zac laughing at Cryssi's reaction. She is an idiot when she is on her herbs.

The couple started going to the hut that was given to them for all they help they've been. Dash turned to cryssi "you know, when I leave, I'm not going to hunt you down if you do anything with Elegron. As long as you don't hurt him, and you at least ask him first. After all, I'm only around once every ten years." She said smirking before heading inside after Elegron.

"I'll keep that in mind. You only have a few hours before you have to leave for above the clouds. It's 12pm now. Oh, and one thing. Make him scream." Cryssi laughed before lying down on Zac and nearly passing out. "Hey Zac, let's get some food. I'm starving. Are you hungry? I'm hungry, let's go."

 

Zac looked at Cryssi and then over to dash and shrugged his claws before taking Cryssi to a place where she could get food.

Lasher was grateful for Greenleaves help. When they were alone for a while Lasher moved closer to her. "Thank you. I find it odd that you would do something like this for me, you fought with the Stabledweller during those times, you fought against me and Rave. The assault on Rave's fortress. I helped slave ponies and zebras, I helped punishing and torturing them. I killed a lot of them. I really can't see a reason why you would help me. I really was a monster".

 

Dark Sun was seeming to be handling the dark magic better after having learned a lot of his families history. Of course when filed with pride of one's ancestors, one will try to live to the expectations of the family and hold of up the family honor and legend. With this new found knowledge and pride by his side to drive him on, he was more successful. "Pride, it all drives us forward. Honor and worthyness. He will make a fine magician" Rave thought. "Well then, he seems to be doing quite well, mind if I teach him of some of what I know?". "Go ahead, even though you know less about dark magic, you do know about a lot of useful magic. I think that might help. Go ahead, teach him... Dark Horn". Dark Horn smiled as he approached Dark Sun.

Greenleaves nodded "you were, but you don't have to be. Everypony can change. It's all a matter of whether they do or not. Rave wasn't going to change. Or at least not before he had destroyed the world. Everypony deserves a second chance. I believe that you are a good pony lasher. I can't say for sure if you were misguided, or just blinded by something, or maybe you just decided you didn't want to be a slaver. Maybe you haven't and you haven't changed. The point is, you have the potential to be a good pony, and that's what matters." She reached up and kissed him "I think your a good pony."

Kalus had made his way into Canterlot and onto ministry walk. A large section had been attacked by some form of Dark Magic, the signature matched that of his target. Maybe this will grant him some new information.

 

"Enemies list; Subject Rave Crystal: Zebras, Raiders, Enclave, Lightbringer, Dashia, Dragon slayers, Iron Warriors, data incomplete. List ends. So the Lightbringer should be able to shed some light on this. Pun intended. His location is unknown. Zebras. Their is a zebra village that still houses them to north. Name; Glyphmark. Investigation into the locations of the Lightbringer will begin there."

 

A few well used teleportation spells landed Kalus a bit north of Canterlot, but he still has a good hour of walking left before he reached the Zebra settlement.

"Wow, is that how you managed to deceive ponies trying to follow you?". "Yup". "Will you teach me to hunt dragons?". "In due time, in due time". "How long will my training take?". "20 to 30 years at most". Dark Sun seemed taken aback by that. "That's a long time". "One doesn't learn instantly and one must earn it". Dark Sun nodded as he was intent on learning. "Here, it is time that you get this" a large black book floats from Rave's shadow to Dark Sun. "This was Sombra's personal spell book. It has been passed down from generation to generation. It is time that you had it. Study it well". "Will do, siry sir".

Kalus had arrived in the settlement of Glyphmark. A small Zebra village. Exactly what he was expecting. As he moved into the village everyone moved away from him or inside their homes. "I guess even Zebras judge people because of their looks. What's wrong with Black Robes and a full head mask with a hood? I will understand social conformity. Nor do I wish to. *chuckle* EDNA, you may leave stealth now. We are on job right now."

 

EDNA: "What is our objective?"

 

Kalus: "Scan the village. Bring back anything interesting. Magical signatures, out of place items, or something with some connection to the Dark. Quickly now. We are on a short time limit now."

 

EDNA flew over the village in search of something interesting, and Kalus had began to wonder about down streets and ally ways, what ever way he went Zebras ran away And into their homes. He cause quite a commotion in just a few minutes.

Elegron and dash had just walked out of the hut when they saw a very odd looking pony that was causing a commotion. The two approached Kalus calmly. "Was there something you needed?" Elegron said. He and dash were ready if things went wrong. "Would this have anything to do with the ridiculous use of dark magic? I felt it too."

Kalus took a few steps towards the two new ponies and stood on his hind legs. He extracted a small bit of magic from Elegron's horn and began to analyse it for information. "Name: Elegron, age 25, job and title Lightbringer, recent and long standing past: Stable Dweller, murderer, terrorist, assassin, is mentioned in modern stories as a terror that kill ponies who do not follow under the same belief system that you do. Myth or fact: Fact. Highly skilled in magic. Perverted. No further information directly available. I can see why you are hated. But that's not my place to judge. I need information. A pony by the name of Rave Crystal took you as one of their enemies 10 years ago. Give me all the information you have regarding this pony. Speak quickly."

"First of all, you make me sound really horrible when you say it that way. Second, rave is a crazy murderer who enslaved ponies for profit and for sport. We fought and he escaped, but barely. The next time I found him, I thought he had changed, and he almost did, but he betrayed me. He tried to destroy the world as we know it with project hellfire. But dash and I stopped him, and he died. Rain and darkeye were both there when rave died." Elegron decided not to mention that rain tried to prevent Elegron from stopping the destruction of the world, because at the time she wasn't thinking clearly. It wouldn't be right to hold that against her. "Also you should know that I'm not this terror that you speak of. I no longer engage the white poison. I've changed. But that's neither here nor there, if you want more information about rave, which I assure you I do have, then I will need something in return. Or a good reason as to why you want this information."

Windroarer approached Darkeye. "Mad dog reports that he and his Hellhounds have killed at least 4 ponies from the Lightbringers that were patrolling 25 miles from Glyphmark". "I really can't do this right now, my son is missing and---" the griffin slapped Darkeye in the face. Darkeye glared at the griffin. "Forgive me sir, but you did order me when you assigned me as your assistant to beat some sense into you if you ever get too emotional or don't do your job". "Don't know what I was thinking back then. Glyphmark you say? If the zebras are giving refuge to the Stabledweller and his band of rebels, then they are enemies of the state. I wan't a WPS Justicar patrol sent down there to talk to the town's representative. Either they renounce the terrorists and be left alone, or their town will become a target and they be declared enemies of the WPS". "Right away". "Also send Mad Dog this message". Darkeye wrote something down on a piece of paper. "Now, go". Windroarer took to the air. "Is Glyphmark the location of Stablecity?" Darkeye thought.

Cryssi: "You may want to listen to him Elegron. I've see what he does to ponies who waste his time. It's not pleasant to say the least. Also, long time no see Kalus."

 

Kalus: "Cryssi. A pleasure as always."

"I will not give information to those who may misuse it. Explain you reasoning or you will have no information. Your attitude makes you seem even more suspicious. I'm not trying to irritate you, please understand, but I don't want something really bad to be my fault. I know it may sound paranoid, but I've been playing a high stakes game ever since I left the stable." Elegron was careful not to piss the pony off, but he was right to be a bit skeptical. "Your asking about a very powerf enemy after all"

A WPS Justicar patrol approached Glyphmark. The leader of the group was a pony named Flamer and the second in command was Giggler who was mad. Flamer approached one of the zebras. "I want to talk to your leader. The WPS has business here to finish". Some of his ponies had flamethrowers, some of them had been the ones to burn down Ponyville, having survived the Iron Warrior onslaught. Flamer was prepared if he faced resistance. If these zebras resisted, it would be their homes and lives that would be destroyed. 

 

Dark Sun was focusing heavily, sweat poured from his face. Rave and Dark Horn watched intently. "He's gonna fail". "He won't". A dark crystal sprouted from the ground. The shadow of Rave smiled.

"I will not give information to those who may misuse it. Explain you reasoning or you will have no information. Your attitude makes you seem even more suspicious. I'm not trying to irritate you, please understand, but I don't want something really bad to be my fault. I know it may sound paranoid, but I've been playing a high stakes game ever since I left the stable." Elegron was careful not to piss the pony off, but he was right to be a bit skeptical. "Your asking about a very powerful enemy after all"

"And you will make a powerful enemy if you continue to to refuse cooperation. Last chance before I take the information by force."

 

Cryssi walked up beside Elegron, she had not seen Kalus this angry in years. "Listen Elegron. I understand your reasoning and the logic you follow, but now I recommend that you just cooperate with him. No good will come if you continue to resist. And I don't want to explain what he will do."

Elegron saw the sincerity on cryssis face, and maybe a hint of... Fear? "My apologies. Although I'm afraid I don't have much else to offer other than that his wife was slaughtered by zebras a long tim ago, he was raped by bloodrop, and for some reason he hates the enclave as well. He was also fairly skilled in dark magic. A direct descendant of sombra. Does that help you?"

 

 

 

The zebra looked at giggled for a minute. "Come with me, I will lead you to xenith." He began walking towards the center of the village towards a hut.

Flamer looked at Giggler. "I will go speak with Xenith. You guys spread out and see if you can find anything about the Lightbringers. Monroe, go up towards that peek over there and watch the town. If anything leaves, make sure it is a zebra or us. If not...... you know what to do. We don't expect any traders here for at least a week". Monroe nodded. Flamer started following the zebra. 

 

Lasher walked around with Greenleaves, thinking heavily about what Greenleaves had told him. Giggler and Lasher walked right into each other. Giggler stumbled but stood up again and looked at Lasher with eyes of madness. Another WPS pony was with Giggler. "Hey, I know that pegasus. It's Lasher, Rave's right hoof pony. I was a part of Darkeye's team". Giggler looked at his companion, then back at Lasher, grinning. "Oh really? Interesting" he giggled. He then looked at Greenleaves. "And you are? Please show me your passports". Giggler readied his knives behind him with his tail. He already found it suspicious that ponies were inside Glyphmark (or perhaps he really just wanted to kill somepony). 

 

"Well, I will be going to the living quarters and check on my 'ponies'". The shadow of Rave said nothing. He had his gaze fixed on Dark Sun as he was learning more about Dark Crystals.

The little bit of information gathered about Rave gave Kalus access to a bit more knowledge that had previously been locked away. Mainly his friends in which their were only two: Dark Horn and Lasher.

 

"About time. You really should understand who you are talking to before action. Begone with you. Your usefulness has expired." He turned and walked down an ally towards the area of Lasher and Giggler.

 

Cryssi: "You need to be more careful Elegron. You are lucky he gave you three chances to turn over information. I don't want to tell you what would have happened if you didn't. Glad you're ok." Cryssi gave Elegron a large hug and the remembered Dash was still there. "Oh *nervous laugh* sorry."

"Don't worry, it's fine" dash said "we need to find greeneaves and lasher."

 

Elegron saw giggler talking to lasher and Greenleaves, then got everyone else with him together "ok guys, I've got a plan, just follow my lead"

 

A wagon came up, pulled by a mare with sadly large hips, and 3 guards were surrounding it, all dressed to where almost none of them were visible. The one in the lead spoke to Greenleaves, with a heavy accent. "Minty! How many times have I told you not to run off like that, and where are your garments?"

 

Greenleaves caught on quickly "but father, they're uncomfortable!"

"Urg nevermind, just come along, we'll talk about your new 'boyfriend' later"

Greenleaves walked over to the disguised pony, pouting all the while, and motioned for lasher to follow. "Sorry if my daughter gave you any trouble" the pony said to giggler before starting to leave.

Giggler grabbed the pony by her throat and started choking, his eyes twitching. "A little bit old to be taking commands from her mother isn't she? I asked for passports". Giggler brought up his knife and started hacking at the pony. He stabbed the pony in the legs and once near the neck, however, he didn't seem to be trying to kill her. While he was doing it, he laughed madly. He then let the pony go and she fell to the ground, unconscious from all the wounds. He jumped at Greenleaves and started stabbing her. It only took Lasher a moment to react, he acted on instinct. He turned and drew his rear hooves back and kicked at Giggler with all his might. Giggler went flying through the air and landed in a fruit stand. Giggler's companion drew up his handgun and started shouting warnings to his fellow WPS Justicars that were Scattered around Glyphmark. Lasher picked Greenleaves up and started flying. He was surprised of what he had done, he had apparently picked a side. 

 

As Flamer was speaking with Xenith, a WPS Justicar came running to him. "There is battle going on. We suspect members of the Lightbringers". Flamer looked at Xenith. "It seems there is a problem here". 

 

Monroe noticed Lasher flying with Greenleaves. He aimed his Sniper Rifle at Lasher's head.

When a pony tried to stop them, strawberry lemonade and dash picked up Elegron and cryssi, and flew off with insane speed. Elegron teleported them as far as he could to make certain that they were out of range.

 

Xenith spoke "I have told the stable dweller that he is no longer welcome here. His actions were his own, not ours. Please leave our village alone"

Elegron teleported them as far as he could to make certain that they were out of range.

 

Xenith spoke "I have told the stable dweller that he is no longer welcome here. His actions were his own, not ours. Please leave our village alone"

Flamer: "Now. This would normally be the part where I kill you. But because I am nice and you did say he is no longer welcome, we can overlook this once. But do not expect to receive any fresh food or clean drinking water from us ever again. You have to go back to living like you did 10 years ago. Irradiated food and water." Flamer got onto his radio. "Come everyone, we are leaving this place. We found nothing."

 

The group of WPS left the village through the front gate and started their trip back to ponyville.

 

Giggler: "We ain't leaving them alone are we? We coming back?"

 

Flamer: "TTonight a team of stealth demolition experts will enter the village and blow it to the Ground. Everyone dies."

Kalus was not about to let Elegron leave so easily. For once he was wrong, Elegron still had some usefulness left. Two teleportation spells landed Kalus a few feet in front of Elegron. "That was almost an impressive display. But I did not follow you to give you congratulations. A pony you travel with, Lasher. I am under the impression that he knew Rave Crystal very well. Summon him here. Now. This is your only chance." Kalus made a hoof mounted blade come out from behind his clothing, and waited for Elegron.

Zac was passed off that he had been left behind while Cross had been taken to safety. 'No one cares about a Scorpion I guess.' Zac thought to himself as he started to track Cross down by following her scent.

Kalus: "*irritated growl* From what I saw concerning his actions, he follows you and your Team. That means he listens to you. So before you make me hurt you, do as I have demanded. Call him to me at once."

 

Cryssi broke free of Strawberry Lemonade grip, and used her own wings to stabilise herself. "I can fly on my own. I'm just scared of heights." She quickly dropped herself down go the ground. "I hate flying."
