A Black Circle

Recommended Posts

I have this game. It's a pretty great game that is a very traditional and strict turn-based RPG that draws heavily from the Dungeons & Dragons game :D It's considered to be one of the greatest RPGs of all time and while it isn't my personal favorite RPG, I will say it's a must play for any trad fans :D Requires a lot of thought and is very complex, and it isn't a very forgiving game either, but then again, this was the '90s - difficulty in games was much different then :D

If you like RPGs, this game is indeed a worthwhile investment, but it is a very strict RPG and I wouldn't recommend it to someone who didn't like that type of game.

I got this game on sale a few weeks ago. I haven't spent any time with it though. Too many other games to play.

I doubt it'll stand up to Planescape: Torment. <__< >__>

Both games have not a single review under 80 on metacritic.

The weight of that is for you to decide.

I was mostly making fun. Planescape left quite the impression on me though.

This style of RPG doesn't typically do it for me. I have to specifically be in the mood to play them.

I can be the same way. Morrowind (favorite game ever): barely play it nowadays. It's a game you have to try and fit in a good session of.
