A sad Fluttershy

While watching a livestream I got the inspiration to draw a pony. It ended up being a rather sad Fluttershy.

I am quite satisfied with the result myself: (Even though, it brakes my heart to see her like that)

Sorry for making Fluttershy sad, the music on the stream was kind of moody.

Well... The drawing was, partially, an experiment to make a picture completely from the side and if that is the case, then you wouldn't be able to see the other two legs. I am fixing it though. Edited April 5, 2012 by kaborer

Thanks probably wouldn't have noticed that, if you hadn't mentioned it. So I "fixed" the eyes a bit (Hope this was what you meant.) I think she looks a lot more like herself now

 

Edit: If there's anything else I should correct or improve, please tell me and I will look at it tomorrow.

Perhaps that can be the reason she's sad As for another critique, I would suggest making the eye look more like this, from another image I found off google images:

 

 

From the example of what I would picture in a sad fluttershy above, I would emphasize the eyelashes more, and give her eyes somewhat of a squint at the top.

I changed the eyes, as you said, and here's the result:

 

As for the wings, we'll just say that what you said was right, she's sad because she doesn't have them.

The first one was okay, but she didn't really look sad. The latest one looks far better. One thing you could do is how she is positioned, even though its too late for that. If her head was down she would look much more sad. Also, wings. x)

She actually doesn't look that sad, I know she's crying, but it looks like she's still smiling to me, and I would have her head bowed or something

 

Positive: the lines are really good, her cutie mark is near perfection if it isn't perfect, and you have her tail and mane right on
