Charles entered the building and found the food court rather quickly. He ordered some Chinese food and sat down at a table by himself. Once his order him came he ate and observed the scenery around him. All the people making their way to their destinations. All the people with something to do. An agenda to complete. While he himself didn't have much of a plan at all. He simply just goes with the flow. Charles gave a sigh and went back to finishing his meal. Once he was done he disposed of the leftover trash and started to walk around and wait for Franky.

Charles eventually found himself in a sporting goods store. He browsed weapons and hunting equipment to pass the time.

Masun watched Auria leave and come back. Since Masun's casino suit wasn't clean, he just decided he would wear the clothes he was wearing now, his officer suit.

"I suppose the starting point should just be this lobby, then. First one there gets to choose what drink the last one buys everyone. Sound fair?"  Masun asked.

"No. If I end up in Africa, it's on you. Let's just hope the moon isn't on my list of destinations." She cracks her fingers and and gathers magic, throeing it into the ground. It instantly forms a magic circle, glowing and swirling at her feet. She pulls out her phone and looks up the bar. "On your mark, Masun."

After hearing what Masun said, she decided to get a head start. Of course, she had to tell the others before she left since it would be rude not to. "That sounds fine with me. I guess that means it has already started? If that's the case, I'll be getting a quick head start. Catch me if you can, Masun!" She said before running towards the lift and hurrying out the front entrance.

Franky had finished eating his cone when he realized he was lost. He looked around but could not recall anything he saw from the map of the mall. He reached into his suitcase and picked out the black walkie talkie Charles had given him. He put it up to his mouth, and pressed the button on the side. "Hello, Charles? It is me, Franky, I have finished my errands and seem to have become lost. I'd like to thank you by taking you out to eat. I overheard a few people talking about the great buffet a certain casino offers, just a little distance from here." Franky then took finger off the button and sat down to wait.

Charles was holding a small moose snowglobe when Franky had contacted him. He didn't realize his radio's volume was turned all the way up and Franky's voice startled him, causing him to lose grip of the object. He frantically juggled the snowglobe in the air as he tried to not drop it. Once he finally got his grip back he placed it on the shelf and pulled the walkie talkie from his belt and responded. "Yeah mate, sounds good to me." He then made his way out of the store in search of Franky.

After a couple of minutes Charles tapped Franky on the shoulder from behind. "Peekaboo." he commented. How he found him so quickly in the sea of people was unknown, but his spooky tracking skills were probably to blame.

Franky was watching the kids play in a little play area when he felt a tap on his shoulder. The finger belonged to Charles, and Franky was amazed at how quickly he was able to find Franky in the chaos of this mall. Franky looked at Charles and found that he hadn't bought anything. He looked back to Charles, and began nodded his head. "I am indeed ready, unless you think there is anything else I need? If not, lead the way please." Franky then followed Charles wherever he went.

Masun watched as Auria ran to the elevator to get a head start, or so she thought. Masun looked up at the ceiling which was ten feet above. Masun concentrated on the portion of ceiling right above his head, and then with his vampire strength, he leaped. Right before his head would have impacted in the ceiling, he concentrated, shadow morphing through the solid ceiling, moving through it as if it were a liquid. Masun continued to rise through floor after floor until he rose right out of the shack where he got his ID card. Masun didn't see Auria quite yet, so he landed on the ground and began to do leg stretches.

Masun closed his eyes, activating his vampiric senses. When he opened his eyes again, they were now glowing. Feeling the power coursing through him, he began to run as fast as he could in the direction that was Las Vegas, averaging a speed of 400 miles per hour. If Masun was correct, it should only take him about 18 minutes to get there.

Charles eyed Franky. "Aesthetically I think you're set mate. We should be good for now. Anything else we'll pick up later." He replied and led him back to the car. Once they got in Charles set the GPS to the casino and drove there.

"Oi, Franky, I think we're here." He said as he looked over to Franky and unlocked the doors.

Franky looked up from the window he was staring at. In front of him was a massive casino with a myriad of different colors of neon lights. Franky's eye lit up as he took in the spectacle before him. He got out of the car and looked up at the spectacle. As he stood and stared, he was pushed forward by a force from behind. He looked and saw that man had bumped into him, and was looking at Franky with hostile eyes. Franky stood up and walked up to the man. He was of equal height, and stared straight into the man's eyes. Franky was looking into his eyes with curiosity, however his target perceived it differently. The stranger thought to himself: 'This man isn't normal! How can he just come into my face and stare me down... Does he not know who I am?' Franky hadn't kept up with the times, so he knew nothing about this man. The man was the current Middleweight Boxing Champion.

Franky stood and stared into the eyes of the champion while it seemed like man was starting to quiver.

Sam collects magic in her hands, balling it, before tossing its blue-silver sheen into the floor. Instantly a circle of symbols and geometric figure swirled at her feet. Faster and faster they swirled, as she tried to keep the image of the casino in mind. In an instant, she was gone. Suddenly, she appeared right in front of the Casino-

-'s side alley, where there was currently a shakedown in progress. Which was interrupted by a bright blue flash and a young adult appearing to have caused said flash. And three now-angry beaters laying down their previous payday. Damn it. I knew this would be the worst idea. And- f#$%- this isn't even the right casino!

She took another look at the thugs in the alley, who were advancing on her. Then she looked at the man they had been beating. His was broken, battered. Not well-off, and not native. She felt a familiar rage boiling within her blood: Injustice, unfair, bully-like violence. Her eyes began to streak off her magic, glowing the solid silvery-blue in a menacing, demon-like fashion. The thugs began second-guessing their advance, now backing away and muttering things like 'witch' and 'sorcery'. Long has the power of the moon been shunned. Long has it lurked in the shadows. At these thoughts, the dark alleyway's shdows began to bend, hiding the broken man from sight while teasingly bending away from the thugs that would hide. And long have these shadows gathered, hiding secrets, tears, and love. But they would not hide from the moon. Lances of silvered moonlight fall around the would-be attackers, bending and shapping into a cage that solidifies. Pure, solid silver, though much, much stronger than what silver should be. A door and lock forms in towards the street-side for the casino, a key glimmering just out of reach. The shadows returned to normal as she approached the cage, "You are under arrest for assault and attempted assault of a United States federal officer. Anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attourney and a fair, speedy public trial." From her robes, she pulls a small, metallic ball and pushes a button. The ball begins glowing, a beacon that would send a signal back to the Area base. She doubted they'd enjoy this chore-like routine or use of equipment. And she expected a good scolding for 'power misuse'. She found it rather hard to care as she burned a silvery illusion into the side of a wall, listing the charges and complete Miranda rights into the side of a wall. The beacon also doubled as a listening device, so anything they said would be used against them.

She went to the man the thugs had been beating on and sighed. His face was badly deformed, lips cut. Probable broken nose, possible skull fracture. She shot Masun a text, the number of which she had to look up from the staff directory. Got way-laid in a back alley. Gunna be late. Pick cheap drinks, I don't get to keep the money I make.

That completed, she knelt beside the near-unconscious man and gently laid a hand across his head. "This is going to feel really cold. It may also burn a bit. I'm sorry for that, if you can hear me." She floods his body with magic, healing anything critical, or injuries that would lead to permanent damage. This included two broken ribs, a small fracture in the back of the skull, three shattered fingers, and the facial swelling.

That completed, she teleported with him to a hospital-

-in her midwestern hometown. She was quickly becoming tired, and failed to realize this. It didn't help that, it being ten years, nobody would recognize her. She checked the guy into a room, being assured that he would be taken care of, and walked to a remote location.

That whole process had taken about 16 minutes. Trying to focus, she brought back up the image of the bar Masun described and concentrated hard. In what was the most sluggish teleport a mage has ever performed, she found herself in front of the right casino two minutes later. On her knees, shaking weakly and trying not to vomit. She fit right in.

Charles stepped out of the car and looked over to Franky, who already seemed like he was about to get into a fight. He heard something midst the crowd and turned to see Sam looking nauseous not too far from them. He gave a chuckle at the situation and watched the Franky situation to see what the outcome would be.

Franky and the man stood staring at each other for another minute before the man began to feel his pride being hurt. He looked back and noticed his girlfriend making a disgusted expression at him, and decided he had to do something in front of all these people. He stepped back and raised his fists as if to challenge Franky to a fight.

'What is he doing? He looks ridiculous in front of this crowd of people.' Franky thought to himself. 'I should tell him to put his hands down as to not embarrass himself.' Franky then walked over and whispered in a low voice to the man "Put your hands down before you embarrass yourself."

To Franky, this was a gesture of good faith, however for the man, it was a message that he wasn't even good enough to put up a fight against. The man instantly threw a punch and connected onto Franky. Franky then fell over like a sack of potatoes and layed on the ground for a minute. He was not seriously injured, or unconscious, he was laying there because he tried to figure out why this man had hit him. 'What the hell... I thought we were on good terms...' Franky stayed there while the man was boasting to his wife and showing off his muscles to the crowd, who had finally recognized him as the Middle-weight champion. After the commotion died down, Franky had finished his thinking and gotten up, he looked for Charles.

Charles walked up to Franky. "That didn't go too well did it mate?" Charles said with a chuckle. "The way I see it, we got three options. I could go ruff him up a bit and you can take notes, you could go back in for round two and get some hands on experience, or we can just say 'to hell with it', leave him be, and walk away. Your choice." He explained.

Charles had found Franky and was talking to him. "No, I'm fine. I don't want to start any trouble. We should go inside and eat now." As Franky turned back to the casino entrance, he noticed a girl on the ground. She looked familiar, but Franky couldn't remember where he had met them, so he walked up to the girl. "Do I know you."

"You might," she groans, looking at him, "We met earlier. However, I have no idea what your memory's like. Sam?" She leans against the wall, looking pretty tired despite it being the dead middle of night. To much magic use, gotta get some food and keep it down "You say something about food? I'm all for it."

Charles gave a sigh at his decision. "Fair enough." He commented and moved on with him over to Sam. "Sleepy Eyes, we meet again mate. Though a few moments ago you looked more like Pukey Stomach." He started. "So what brings you out here? I don't suppose the bloody Maneater Tag Team is gonna show up too? If they're coming for food too, make sure to tell them that the waiters and waitresses aren't part of the all you can eat buffet." He finished.

"There was a race for drinks at the bar here. I ran into a spot of bother," she mumbles, "If I don't get food soon, I'll pro'lly pass out. So, Croc Dunders, care to help a lady to the table?" The obvious amounts of sarcasm spawned from the irritation in the name calling. "Also, I'm sure we'll get a call from AREA for misuse of equipment."

"I have never used anything other than a bed sheet from the facility. So I'm assuming you're the one who did something, Sam? Well, anyways, we should go inside and eat. I've been very hungry as of late.. Every since I was attacked, I've just become starving." Franky turned and walked inside and looked around for an indication of where the food was.

Charles followed him inside and looked back to Sam. "Yeah, if there is anything I learned, it's to never irritate the leadership. Masun doesn't count though, he's just too fun." He said. "In the past, if I ever did anything irritating I'd usually get big kitchen knives hucked at me. And those fuckers were sharp too. But then again, it was exciting some times." He finished with a shrug.

When Auria got out of the building, she saw Masun running off into the distance, and since Sam was no where to be found, Auria could only assume that she has already left the building with a magic spell of some sort. "I think I've already lost the race." She finished with a sigh before running in the general direction where Masun went in hopes that she doesn't take forever to get there, especially when she doesn't run near as fast as Masun.

Masun arrived at the Casino, as far as he could tell, before the others did. I wonder if I got here first or if they are inside. Should I just wait, or...? Masun thought. Masun's contemplation was interrupted by a scream coming from a nearby parking complex. Normally, Masun wouldn't think twice about a scream in Las Vegas at night time, but the scream sounded familiar.

Masun ran quickly to the parking complex, and was now standing right outside of it. Again, he heard the familiar voice issue a panicked scream. With Masun's vampire senses still active, he could tell the sound was coming from the third floor of the concrete parking complex. Masun leaped in the air rising about thirty feet, and landed on the third floor's concrete guard wall. About ten yards from where Masun was standing, was two large men surrounding a small female. Masun recognized the woman, instantly. She had a few bruises on her face and her dark blue hair was disheveled, but it was definitely Tally, the bartender that took over for Jace. Masun adapted his ears to listen in on the conversation that they were having.

"Alright, bitch. I don't care about your rules. There are new rules now. You listenin'?" The man who was speaking had dingy cornrows, not just on his head, but long cornrow facial hair as well. Masun thought it was a rhetorical question, and apparently so did Tally. But the man who gave it, obviously didn't intend it as rhetorical, because when she didn't answer, he slapped her with the backside of his hand as hard as he could. Tally's head whipped to the side with the impact of the slap, and a spray of her blood was realeased from her mouth. The normal person would not have noticed where the blood landed, just the initial mist when it was first released from her mouth. But Masun was a vampire, and the instant the blood was released, his pupils dilated and time seemed to slow down. He saw the spattering of blood particles in slow motion, and the specific areas of the blacktop the blood landed.  Masun's instincts were now on overdrive as his nostrils flared to take in the sweet scent of the blood.

"I-I'm listening." Tally said, weakly.

"Good. Now, I don't care if your daddy owns this casino or not. And I don't care about how seriously you take this shitty job. But, when me, or anyone in The Hunters gang asks for a drink, you give it to him. You don't ask any of us to settle our tabs. You don't demand money from us. We graciously donate money to you  when we feel like settling our debts. If you don't like it, tough. We're not very nice guys. So, are we going to continue having problems or are you going you and the rest of the bartenders on the other shifts going to give us drinks when we ask for them?" Mr. Cornrows asked.

The Hunters? Shit, why are they in Vegas? Masun thought to himself. Masun had ran into a few Hunters in his time. They were expert oddity assassins. They all specialized in taking down common oddities, like Vampires, Werewolves, and Magi.

"I'll let you and the rest of the gang you belong to drink for free..."

The men began to laugh and highfive each other like a couple of children.

"When hell freezes over"

The other big man, who was fully bald, did not like that answer. He instant punched her in the forehead, which caused her head to whiplash back and forth. She was obviously knocked senseless by that punch as her had now hung downwards. She might have feel over, if they weren't pinning her to the back of a white van.

The man with cornrows pulled out a knife, that Masun instantly identified as made of holy silver. The mere sight of it, hurt Masun, giving him headaches, making it hard to think. "If you want to die that badly, then be my guest." Cornrows said as he held the knife to her throat.

"Oi!" Masun yelled at the men, now walking towards them. Masun had deactivated his vampire senses, so that his eyes were not glowing anymore. He did not want to let them know he was a vampire, he would have to kill them in that case, and that led to a whole slew of other problems.

The Cornrows man turned his head towards Masun. "Keep moving, buddy, this doesn't concern you."

"What doesn't concern me?" Masun asked. "I was just about to ask you two dapper gentleman why you both smell like fermented pig anuses. Your stench was assaulting my nostrils to such a degree that I was having a hard time walking straight. With stench like yours why do you fellows even need to drink booze at all? You guys could just sniff each others' fart boxes and get drunk from that."

The man looked quizzically at his bald friend, who was obviously the smarter one. His friend muttered, "I think he is insulting us."
"Hey pall. You got a death wish?" Cornrows asked, their attention now fully on Masun. They let go of Tally and were now turned facing Masun.

Masun put his finger in his ear and twisted it. "Huh? I'm sorry I didn't catch that. Did you say something about dead fish? Is that why you guys smell so horrendous? Are you guys so desperate for a woman that you use dead fish for your pleasure instead?"

"Alright that's it" The man with cornrows lunged at Masun stabbing from his waist at Masun's stomach with the Silver blade. Masun was now having an extremely hard time concentrating, but he knew that he needed to concentrate now more than ever. Masun side stepped the blade by moving his left foot forward from a neutral stance, and using his left hand to redirect the blade hand away from him. He then issued a quick backhand jab to the man's temple, with the force of an average human male. Now Masun stepped with his right foot, placing it behind the man's feet, in between his legs. Masun, then arced both his arms and struck both the man's solar plexus and the small of his back simultaneously. Then Masun swept his right arm up from the solar plexus up to the man's neck pulling him over Masun's right leg, taking him down to the ground. From that position, Masun issued a swift stomp to the man's head and he was out like a light. All this happened within a split second. The bald man watched this transpire, and his expression went from anger to fear as quickly as Cornrows was taken down.

"So, are you going to run, or do I need to take you down as well?" Masun asked.

The bald man wasted no time in running.

"Tell your boss that this casino is under the protection of Masun Murray. He won't know who I am, but if any of you fuckheads mess with Rabbit's Foot again, he will." Masun yelled after the man.

Masun walked over to Tally who was leaning over, holding her head in pain.
"If you think this will get you free drinks, you're wrong" Tally said in a weak voice. She looked up at Masun with a smile "But thank you anyway"

"Hey, don't talk now. Save your energy." Masun said, pulling her arm over his shoulders to help prop her up so that they could start walking.

It took them a couple of minutes to walk back down to the street. He was walking her towards the casino, since that was where she worked and the place her father owned as well, when he noticed that Sam was there already. He began to walk towards the group of Sam, Franky, and Charles. He was about ten feet from them when he yelled out "Technically I was here first, but there was a problem" Masun pointed to the dark blue haired, small framed, gothic looking woman. He got within talking distance and said, "I had to take the trash out."

Charles looked back and saw Masun and Tally. He looked a bit confused at first but then gave a small grin. "You had to... take the trash out?" He said, and pointed over to Tally. "Well if she was causing a tussle at the bar you didn't have to put her through the ole meat grinders before kicking her out did ya?" He joked, putting his fists up when he said 'meat grinders'.

Masun busted up laughing as he realized what he must have sounded like when he arrived.

"No, no, no. She's not the trash I took out. The thugs who were giving her trouble in the parking complex were." Masun replied.

"Anyway, I didn't expect to run into you guys here, I thought it was just going to be Me, Sam, and Auria. Well, it's good you're all here, because there's a problem going on in L.A. and I need you all present to discuss this problem. We'll wait for Auria before I explain, though."

"Hey, Masun, is it? I think i can walk the rest of the way by myself" Tally said as she let go of Masun.

"Really? Well, wait up." Masun pulled out a matchbook from Rabbit's Foot out of his pocket, and a pen. He opened the matchbook and wrote his cellphone number in it. "If anyone from that gang gives you guys trouble again, call me up. I'll be there right away" Masun said, giving the book to Tally before she turned to walk away.

"Sure thing. I'm not quite sure how you did what you did, but thank you for helping me." Tally replied before walking away.

Charles' smile slowly dissipated to a uncharacteristic deadpan blank face as he watched Tally leave. Not afraid to walk away and seems rather calm by herself right after a beating, doesn't make a big deal about how Matchstick 'did what he did' whatever that was. Nor does she seem to want to call the police. Not really a normal person's reaction. More of an interesting reaction to me. He finished thinking, his face returning to normal as he looked to the group. "Well, me and our new mate Franky here were gonna go to the buffet. Not sure if that's gonna impede on whatever you were planning." He said. "And who was the girl? You better give me a name before I come up with another nickname instead."
