Leif sighed " normally is say yes but I have a group of ponies waiting in me to deliver them so you can rest I must keep going though" leif said

"Hey," Flux walked out from the shady corner and approached the two. "What are you two waiting for?" She asked curiously, hoping she wasn't intruding. Lunch was long over and there weren't many ponies left in the dining hall, she was feeling a lot lighter after sulking the morning away.

Aurora continues to meditate knowing Night would scold her for breaking it to chat. She is glowing like a light and very small candle.

 

Night Flair looks to the pony and says, "One of the two royal sisters. Have a book to find and use. The name is Void. General Night Flare. What's yours?"

"Nice to meet you General Night Flare," she extended her hoof out for a hoofshake. "Name's Flux. Luminous Flux. Who's your friend?" She smiled meekly. A pony with the high rank of a general, she'd never guess just by looking, well she was pretty ignorant to those sort of things. "The war's getting pretty intense, huh?"

He says, "Her name is midnight aurora. As for this war it is just starting. Lord Mortis only just started taking interest when it was found out that the main enemy uses shadow magic. He claims to know it better then anypony. I would beg to differ. As a void general, I am able to use shadow magic he would consider quite powerful. What he plays with is minor to what I have learned. Aurora here isn't just my student but also Lord Mortis' student as well."He shakes her hoof.

 

Aurora comes out of her meditation and extends a hoof. "I saw you when we all were on stage. Mother Luna is quite the leader. Aunty Celestia is also a great leader. By my mentor's request I am learning that which I need to be the best I can be."

Flux feigned interest at the void general's conversation. She wasn't a mare good with politics nor was she a politically active mare. "Pardon my ignorance, but who is Lord Mortis, General?"

 

"Oh it's you." She smiled at Aurora. "I've seen you around. Sorry, I'm not too good with names or faces, heh. I'm sure you're a great student."

Night Flare giggles. "Mortis is King of the underworld. Lord of the dead and master of the darker arts. He is also a brother to the royal sisters in a way."

 

Aurora says, "It is fine. I have that problem at first as well. How's your training been going?" Aurora offers a hoof in greeting.

"Oh, he doesn't sound like pleasant company. Hope we won't need to meet him anytime soon." Flux muttered. She felt a little embarrassed not knowing somepony so significant.

 

"Training has been okay. But moving targets terrify me." She shakes hooves politely. "You?"

"He may be the architect of death or god of death, but he is a cool guy. He taught me all I know about shadow magic." Says Night.

 

Aurora says, "Speedy attacks is one of the things I am good at. I can keep up with most targets and still hit them. Defending against a moving target is another matter. It took me several weeks to learn to be defensive against them without losing control. So moving targets are an even match for me."

Novel looks at the book with a slight look of fear. Oh no. Battle. She is not one for battle, she is too soft to even think of killing another. Fear sets in, what if they think she is weak. Her knowledge serves her well in a fight, but being the pony who does the fighting? Oh my she is utterly terrified of training, but at least it is with Seth. She nods "Of course Princess" she whispers meekly and runs off to begin reading.

Lightning flair followed smileing as he does so chuckling. He stayed close to Chronos this entire time just being quiet.

(ok where to begin might as well be honest as of right now i have a working pc i just tore the motherboard out of this thing and pulled a new one in, its a full on gaming motherboard and i just now got around to installing all the necesseties needed to get online and yes i have a gf now))

Midnight lunged at him again, punching him in the face.

 

Luna shook her head. "We are fine. Let us keep going." She continued to walk, still slightly limping.

 

Lunar looked at Steel, smiling.

 

Celestia opened her wings. "I'm off then. Goodbye, Novel," she said, taking off.

 

Seth followed Novel silently.

Novel has a look of panic on her face, war. Oh god war. She is too timid to fight. Novel is biting her lower lip out of anxiety and fear, but when has her knowledge and brain ever failed her. She hesitantly nestled down and began to read right away. Her eyes moving non-stop across the pages.

Steel looked up at her and smiled -although this is nice just relaxing here with her- steel thought

Leif nodded and turned wanting to help Luna but not knowing how he didn't know any healing magic

(I know I said that he was heading back to the castle, but now that odd is back I need to change.something.)

 

Chronos stopped, He looked at Flair, "alright, go in and see Jr. but be quiet and try not to scare him. " He said before pointing to the room Chronos Jr's crib was in.

Midnight blinked, quickly regaining herself and sending a roundhouse kick to his chest.

 

Lunar kissed her forehead, still stroking his mane. She wished with all her heart that there was someway she could relax him; he was also so alert and on guard. She felt like she almost HAD to find a way to try and help him relax.

 

Luna sighed, continuing to walk. Of course she'd trip on a vine in front of such a cute stallion. She looked behind her to make sure Crystal was still following them.

Crystal kept at a calm pace, noticing Luna was limping some more. Surely it would help a little bit for the wound to rest before it got infected, however perhaps not on the road. Crystal remained quiet, looking around. He didn't want to show any signs of weakness or flaws. Surely if he did, they would think he's helpless and just some escaped crystal slave.

"This Lord Mortis still sounds bit dodgy. What's with this shadow magic thingy? It seems to be a big thing around." She asked, genuinely curious.

 

"I've never fought an actual opponent before," Flux sighed. "Don't think I could ever fight any pony without getting knocked out myself."

Night summons his void blades. His horn and eyes are glowing a dark, almost black, blue color. "shadow or dark magic can be very evil if the one who uses it isn't able to control the power. I was trained at a young age to control the power given to me by the Vashtanerada soul that tried to claim me. Lord Mortis saw great dark magic within me and trained me how to properly use it. Besides Lady Luna, I know more then anypony about the dark arts. So it was natural when I heard that Sambra uses this magic that one who knows how to counter it would be needed. These are called void sabers. They use dark magic to turn shadows into a potent weapon. Aurora here uses the eclipse scyth. It is far more dangerous then it appears. Moonlight and moonshadow are the spirit weapons that make up the Eclipse Scyth. However Aurora knows that that isn't the scyth's true form. Only the ancient alicorns, like Mortis, knows the name and how to awaken the true form Of the scyth."

 

Aurora asks, "If you would also loose then why join this war? Be prepared to do what you must to survive. Even i know that when the time comes, I will have to take a life. As long as you tend to regret doing it but know you have to or die, then you know you have a good heart."

Leif smiled seeing the group of ponies they where to lead to safety "alright here we are" leif said to Luna and crystal then he looked at the refugees "ground rules you will do exactly as I say when I say bring only water and if you need to stop to rest good luck the convoy stops for no pony" leif said

Luna smiled, silently listening. She shook her hind leg out, hoping that'd help ease the pain.

 

Midnight didn't let up, sending a bunch of punches and kicks at him at lightening speed.

 

Lunar looked at him, smiling. "Hey, wanna head back to the castle?" she asked.

Flux stared at the sheer wick awesomeness of the blades. They looked pointy and lethal. She bet they were. "Ooh, looks cool." She commented.

 

"I just wanted to get away from the shop and do something with my life. But now the consequences are beginning to dawn on me. This is war and I signed up for it. I'm not even sure if I can bring myself to do battle. That's why I tend to stick to ranged attacks or trap, it feels less...personal somehow but I have a feeling we won't have a choice when it's kill or be killed." She sighed.

Night says, "It takes all kinds of beings to win a war. You don't have to put yourself in harm's way just to help. Take the lowly squires for example. They don't fight but without their help, the knights can't fight either."

 

Aurora nods in agreement. She then says, "have you ever seen anything nopony else has seen?"

 

Night dismisses his blades.

Grell let the punches and kicks in he didn't mind them at all

 

Steels hook his head "I was told to go with them so I must stay" steel said it was obvious he was board

 

Leif looked at the group and began walking "alright follow me to freedom" leif called pulling out his pan flute

"It just feels like I'm not helping half the time," She was frustrated beyond words. "It feels like I haven't done anything in my life. Ever. I'm not sure if I even have a purpose here..."

 

"I've seen a wide range of freaky candle sculptures, skulls, birds, dragons... Do those count?" She cracked a small smile.
