Mr. Whitacre has been a guest at my school a couple times, and has even been commissioned several times I believe. He is a fantastic composer, and as a voice major and choir singer, I love to sing his songs.

He's composed a lot of good pieces, some of which I've played (or almost played) on trombone ,such as October, Godzilla Eats Las Vegas, etc.
